1.1 Intended Use

The Panel Controller MPC-8000-C and the Remote Keypad FMR-5000-C are the central element of the fire panel.
They control the fire panel and every component connected to the panel. All kind of messages are indicated on the
high-resolution touch-screen and can intuitively be operated and processed.

1.3 Rules and Conditions

Installation and Operation

Installation must only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel. Please follow your local
regulations concerning installation.
Operation of the devices is not intended for personal, family or household use and applications.

Live components and stripped cable! Risk of injury from electric shock. The system must be current­free during connection work.

Make sure that the Panel Rail Short is mounted before you start installing the Panel Controller.
Connect the ground wire to the screw on the housing.
Plug the cable into the slot labeled IN of the Panel Rail Short.
Plug the EOL resistor for the databus into the slot labeled OUT of the last panel rail
PRS/PRD in use.
Fire panels can only be installed in dry, clean interior rooms. To ensure optimum battery service life, the control
panel should only be operated at sites with normal room temperatures. Operating and display elements should be
located at eye level.
Frame installation housings require at least 230 mm free space on the right next to the last housing; this space is
for swiveling out the attached housing for connection, maintenance, and service.
Sufficient space should be left underneath and next to the control panel for any possible extensions, e.g. for an
additional power supply or an extension housing.
To put the panel controller/remote keypad into operation program the required properties and the configuration
with the remote programming software RPS and upload the configuration to the panel controller/remote keypad.
There are no restrictions of using the devices in commercial or industrial areas.
Permissible operating temperature: -5 to 50 °C.

Storage

Permissible storage temperature: -20 °C to 70 °C
Maximum storage time: 2 years.

Delivery and Selling

– The product may only be transported in its original packaging.
– Handle with care and avoid hits and shocks.
– Absolutely avoid damaging of the packaging or the product itself.
– Avoid extreme temperatures during transport.
– Not for sale to private persons but to trained and experienced persons only.

Disposal

The device including the accessories and packaging shall be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling. Do not
dispose of power supplies into household waste. Please follow your local regulations on appropriate disposal.

1.4 Troubleshooting

In case the product doesn’t work as expected go to the diagnostic menu of the connected panel controller and
take measures according to the shown error code. In the event of a defect, the entire product must be exchanged.
Refer to your local Bosch contact.

1.5 Restrictions of usage

Only use original parts and installation materials as recommended by supplier. Do not manipulate
devices in any manner.
Replace devices as recommended by Bosch Security Systems.

Do not use if there are signs of damage, or in case of malfunction. Return defective devices to the
place of purchase.

1.8 Manufacturing Date

10-digits Serial Number

For products with a 10 digits serial number, the manufacturing year is given in position three and four of the serial
number, e.g. a product with serial number 3804000000 was manufactured in 2004 (see 1 in the figure below). The
manufacturing month and day is noticed directly in the right bottom corner of the label (see 2 in figure below), e.g.
a product with 18.10 was manufactured on October 18th.

18-digits Serial Number

On the product label you find the serial number (S/N) with the coded manufacturing date of the product. If the
serial number has 18 digits, the manufacturing date code is given in position 8 to 10. You can look up the month
and year of the production in the table in the annex at the end of the document.

Example:

Manufacturing date of serial number 093109110611630015 is June 2011.

Տեղադրումը պետք է իրականացվի միմիայն հատուկ նախապատրաստում անցած և փորձառու անձնակազմի կողմից: Տեղադրումը
իրականացնելիս հետևեք տեղադրման վերաբերյալ ձեր տեղային կանոնակարգումներին:
Սարքերը նախատեսված չեն անձնական, ընտանեկան կամ տնային տնտեսության մեջ օգտագործելու համար:

Էլեկտրական լարման բաղադրամասեր և չմեկուսացված մալուխ: Հոսանքահարումից վնասվելու ռիսկ: Համակարգը պետք է

Օգտագործվում է PRS/PRD:
Հրդեհային վահանակները կարող են տեղադրվել միայն չոր, մաքուր փակ տարածքներում: Մարտկոցի օպտիմալ աշխատունակությունն ապահովելու
համար պետք է կառավարման վահանակը շահագործվի միայն նորմալ սենյակային ջերմաստիճան ունեցող տարածքներում: Աշխատանքային և ցուցադրիչ
տարրերը պետք է տեղադրվեն աչքի մակարդակին հավասար:
Շրջանակում տեղադրվող կորպուսների համար պահանջվում է առնվազն 230 մմ ազատ տարածք աջ կողմում՝ վերջին կորպուսի կողքին: Այս տարածքը
նախատեսված է կից կորպուսն ազատորեն շրջելու համար՝ միացումների, վերանորոգման և սպասարկման նպատակներով:
Անհրաժեշտ է բավարար տարածք թողնել կառավարման վահանակի ներքևում և կողքին՝ հնարավոր հավելումների համար, օրինակ՝ լրացուցիչ հոսանքի
սնուցման կամ հավելյալ կորպուսի:

Կառավարման վահանակը կամ հեռակա ստեղնախումբն աշխատեցնելու համար ծրագրավորեք անհրաժեշտ հատկություններն ու կազմաձևումը հեռակա
ծրագրավորման RPS համակարգի միջոցով և կազմաձևը վերբեռնեք կառավարման վահանակին կամ հեռակա ստեղնախմբին:
Առևտրային կամ արդյունաբերության ոլորտներում օգտագործման սահմանափակումներ չկան:
Թույլատրելի աշխատանքային ջերմաստիճանը՝ -5-ից 50 °C:

Պահպանումը

Պահպանման թույլատրելի ջերմաստիճանը՝ -20 °C-ից 70 °C
Պահպանման առավելագույն տևողությունը՝ 2 տարի:

Սարքը, ինչպես նաև լրասարքերը և փաթեթավորումը պետք է տեսակավորվեն վերամշակման համար: Մի թափեք էներգիայի սնուցման մասերը տնտեսա­կենցաղային թափոնների մեջ: Թափելիս հետևեք էլեկտրական սարքերի ոչնչացման վերաբերյալ ձեր տեղային կանոնակարգումներին:

1.4 Խափանաշտկումը

Եթե սարքը չաշխատի պատշաճ կերպով, գնացեք դրան միացրած վահանակի կառավարի ախտորոշման ընտրացանկ և կարգավորեք այն՝ ըստ ցուցադրված
սխալի կոդի: Եթե սարքը թերություն ունի, ապա այն ամբողջությամբ պետք է փոխվի:
