DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P Setup
Some factory settings of DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P may not be compatible with your system configuration. If you have no Audio after installing DVA-5205P from any source like CD­Changer please follow the setup instructions "Custom Setup".
To go to the DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P setup Menu, follow the following procedure:
Play a video in the DVA-5205P or DHA­S680P and be sure that you can
control it by the remote controller RUE-4168
Press STOP on the RUE-4168. A PRE-STOP will appear on the screen.
Press again STOP and a STOP will appear on the screen.
Press and hold the MENU / SET key on the remote control until the main setup menu will appear on the screen.
Main Setup screen
You can click directly on the screen on the right to go to the menu point description.
Language selection
In the languages menu, you can Pre­define your preferred languages for Audio, Subtitle and Menu of any inserted DVD. This function is not supported by all DVD's.
Video output mode (4:3 / 16:9)
Select LETTERBOX when connected to a conventional 4:3 size monitor. There may be black stripes visible at the top and bottom of the screen. Select PAN-SCAN when connected to a conventional 4:3 size monitor. The picture will fill the entire TV screen. However, due to the mismatch in aspect ratio, parts of the movie at the extreme left and right sides will not be visible. Select 16:9 if the DVA-5205P or DHA­S680P is connected to a 16:9 Monitor such as IVA-C800R or TME-M750.
Parental Locking
You should not try to switch the country code of your DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P. This Country code is only for the function "Rating Level".

DVD-Audio down sampling
ON:
The digital signals recorded on the Audio DVD disc with 96 kHz/24bit, 48 kHz/24bit, 48kHz/20bit sampling are converted into digital signals with 48kHz/16bits sampling for output from the optical cable. Set to ON at time of shipment from factory.
OFF:
The digital signals recorded on the DVD disc with 96 kHz/24bit, 48 kHz/24bit, 48kHz/20bit sampling are not converted into digital signals with 48 kHz/16bits sampling. They are not output from the optical cable.
