The Alcatel OmniPCX solutions are turbo-charged communication servers
that pack a lot of power. So it’s vital your telephone sets provide the
simplest access to tap into all that power. That’s exactly what our Reflexes
terminals provide. As a result your employees will genuinely use all the
advanced features of the Alcatel OmniPCX systems. The learning curve has
been reduced to a minimum. And you’ll really see the difference in terms
of customer care, productivity and cost management.

Intuitive

There are no flashing LEDs to dazzle you. Instead
there are intuitive icons that make using the system’s
sophisticated features an automatic reflex.
With the soft keys, you don’t have to learn how to
use the phone. The Alcatel systems do it all for you.
For example, with the alphabetical keypad you can
call by name and the Alcatel exclusive centralized
directory makes dialing as easy as 1, 2, 3, if not
easier, while the navigator puts one-touch control
literally at your fingertips.

Proactive

The key feature of the phones is that they’re smart –
smarter than ever. The soft key functions change
according to the call context, with the functions
displayed on the screen. Convenient voice guides
offer you additional help. So you always get the right

feature at your fingertips at the right time.

Long-lasting investment

The Reflexes range is compatible with the range of
Alcatel systems, including the acclaimed Alcatel
OmniPCX range –Enterprise and Office-- and the
Alcatel 4400, 4200 and Office ranges.

Display and keys

The Alcatel ReflexesTMrange of digital phones
have one or two-line display display panels available.
On two-line phones, the first line gives information
about calls in progress. The second line offers
context-sensitive services in all phases of
communication. So you can choose the service
you need at a glance using a one-touch function
on the Softkey below the display. A contrast
adjustment feature also ensures good visibility
regardless of the lighting conditions.

 Navigator and interactive keys / Comprehensive large display

Navigator

The Alcatel ReflexesTMphone navigator feature makes
the display friendlier by allowing you to scroll up and
down as well as left and right. The navigator, along
with the context-sensitive Softkeys, provides access
to the Alcatel system’s many features. All the features
(display, Softkeys and navigator) are accessible using
the Alcatel Reflexes

TM

unique “One Touch” interface.

Soft grip

The Alcatel Premium and Advanced ReflexesTMare
equipped with comfortable handsets incorporating the
latest ergonomic design. This newly developed soft­grip material is pleasant to hold, and the handset
includes a built-in hearing aid for the hearing-impaired.

Audio control key

Audio control functions (loudspeaker volume control,
hands-free audio control, mute, etc) are separated
from the system’s function keys to facilitate easy
and clear audio control for the user.

Managing LCD communication icons

Programmable system or user keys are available
on the Alcatel Reflexes
at a corporate level and/or user-defined. Determining
the status of a call is simple with the help of easy-to­understand icons that replace the confusing sequences
of LED combinations. The label associated with each
key is easy to read because the key top is equipped
with a built-in lens that magnifies the key label. This
key top is a patented Alcatel feature.

directory and to “text mini-messaging” services.

WITH ALCATEL PLUGWARE...

The Reflexes™offer additional flexibility and
openness with Alcatel’s plugware option. Plugware
is Alcatel’s discreet connector. It joins the desktop
telephone to a communication link and is seamlessly
integrated into a Premium or Advanced Reflexes
set. Plugware gives you flexibility and scope for both
integrating telephone functions into your PC appli­cations and linking additional peripheral equipment.

Take your Reflexes™with you

•You can easily move your phone from one office
to another - simply take the set with you when
you move or pass it from one employee to
another. All that is required is a standard
power supply. Functions and recorded data are
retained, and your phone number stays the same.

• PC linkage is also included.

• You can initiate phone functions such as switching
between calls and call transfer from your computer.

• You can identify the caller before you answer.
Information on your caller appears automatically
on your computer screen.

• Take advantage of ISDN. You can now transmit and

machine or modem - using just one phone line.
