1 Sicherheit und Umwelt
1.1 Sicherheit 1. Betreiben Sie den Kopfhšrer nur mit 2 Stk. 1,2 V-Akkus (mitgeliefert) oder 2 Stk. 1,5 V- Batterien der Grš§e AAA.
2. Versuchen Sie niemals, nicht aufladbare Batterien mittels der Ladefunktion aufzuladen. 3. Vergewissern Sie sich vor jedem Ladevorgang, dass sich aufladbare Batterien (Akkus) im
Kopfhšrer befinden.
4. Versuchen Sie nicht, das GehŠuse des Kopfhšrers zu šffnen. Lassen Sie Servicearbeiten nur von qualifizierten Technikern durchfŸhren.
5. Schalten Sie den Kopfhšrer nach Gebrauch stets aus.
6. Reinigen Sie den Kopfhšrer keinesfalls mit Benzin oder FarbverdŸnnung.
1.2 Umwelt 1. Entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien und Akkus immer gemŠ§ den jeweils geltenden Entsorgungsvorschriften. Werfen Sie Batterien oder Akkus weder ins Feuer (Explosionsgefahr) noch in den RestmŸll.
2.Wenn Sie das GerŠt verschrotten, entfernen Sie die Batterien bzw. Akkus, trennen Sie GehŠuse, Elektronik und Kabel und entsorgen Sie alle Komponenten gemŠ§ den dafŸr geltenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.
2 Beschreibung
2.1 Einleitung Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich fŸr ein Produkt aus dem Hause AKG entschieden haben. Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie das GerŠt benŸtzen, und bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfŠltig auf, damit Sie jederzeit nachschlagen kšnnen. Wir wŸnschen Ihnen viel Spa§ und Erfolg!
Dieser Kopfhšrer wurde speziell fŸr den Betrieb mit dem HEARO 999 AUDIOSPHERE Digital Transmitter entwickelt.
2.2 Lieferumfang 1 Kopfhšrer mit eingebautem DigitalempfŠnger

Um die Lebensdauer der Akkus nicht zu beeintrŠchtigen, werden sie in ungeladenem |

Falls Sie den Kopfhšrer mit nicht wiederaufladbaren Batterien betreiben, versu- |

chen Sie niemals, diese mit dem mitgelieferten LadegerŠt aufzuladen. Dies wŸrde |
|
zu schweren SchŠden an Ihrem Kopfhšrer fŸhren. Entsorgen Sie leere Batterien |
|
entsprechend den jeweils geltenden Entsorgungsvorschriften. |
|
1.Schalten Sie den Kopfhšrer mit dem POWER-Schalter (1) aus. (Die Kontroll-LED (2) bleibt dunkel.)
2.Stecken Sie das Ladekabel (7) an die Ladebuchse (3) des Kopfhšrers an.
3.†berprŸfen Sie, ob die am LadegerŠt angegebene Spannung mit der Netzspannung in Ihrem Versorgungsgebiet Ÿbereinstimmt. Wenn dies der Fall ist, stecken Sie das LadegerŠt an eine Netzsteckdose an.
Die Ladekontroll-LED (8) leuchtet auf und zeigt damit an, dass die Akkus im Kopfhšrer aufgeladen werden.
Nach ca. 14 Stunden sind die Akkus voll aufgeladen.
4.Ziehen Sie das Ladekabel (7) vom Kopfhšrer und das LadegerŠt von der Netzsteckdose ab.
Um die KapazitŠt der Akkus mšglichst lange zu erhalten, entladen Sie die Akkus etwa einmal 3 .2 Akkus entladen im Monat vollstŠndig:
1.Lassen Sie dazu den Kopfhšrer so lange eingeschaltet liegen, bis die POWER-LED (2) erlischt.
2.Laden Sie die Akkus wieder auf.
Mit der Zeit nimmt die KapzitŠt jedes Akkus ab. Wenn die Betriebsdauer des Kopfhšrers mit 3.3 Akkus austauschen den mitgelieferten Akkus nicht mehr Ihren BedŸrfnissen entspricht, kšnnen Sie die Akkus
gegen neue 1,2 V-Akkus oder normale 1,5 V-Alkali-Batterien Grš§e AAA austauschen.
1. Nehmen Sie den Ohrpolster des linken Hšrsystems ab (s. Abb. 3).
2. Nehmen Sie die verbrauchten Akkus bzw. Batterien heraus.

3 Betriebshinweise
3. Legen Sie die neuen Akkus bzw. Batterien wie in Abb. 4 gezeigt in das Batteriefach (4) ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige PolaritŠt!
4. Stecken Sie den Ohrpolster wieder auf das Hšrsystem auf. Stecken Sie dazu die vier Zapfen am Ohrpolster in die entsprechenden …ffnungen in der Grundplatte des Hšrsystems.

1 Safety and Environment
1. Operate the headphones with two AAA size 1.2 V rechargeable (supplied) or two 1.5 V 1.1 Safety dry batteries only.
2.Never try to charge dry batteries using the charger.
3.Before charging the headphones batteries, always make sure that the batteries in the headphones are rechargeable types.
4.Never try to open the headphone case. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel only.
5.Always switch the headphones OFF after use.
6.Never use petroleum-based cleaners or paint thinners to clean the headphones.
1. Be sure to dispose of used batteries as required by local waste disposal rules. Never 1.2 Environment throw batteries into a fire (risk of explosion) or household garbage can.

3 Operating Notes
3.1 Charging Batteries In order to ensure the longest possible service life for the rechargeable batteries, we deliver inside the Headphones them uncharged. Therefore, charge the supplied batteries before first operating
your headphones system.
The supplied batteries have been inserted into the headphones for your convenience.
WARNING: If you operate the headphones on dry batteries, never try to charge the batteries using the supplied charger. This would cause serious damage to your headphones. Dispose of dead batteries conforming to local waste disposal rules.
1.Use the POWER switch (1) to switch the headphones off. When the power is off, the POWER LED (2) will be dark.
2.Plug the charging cable (7) into the charging socket (3) on the headphones.
3.Check that the AC voltage stated on the charger is the same as that available in your country. If it is, connect the charger to a convenient AC outlet.
The status LED (8) will light to indicate the batteries inside the headphones are being charged.
The batteries will be fully charged after approximately 14 hours.
4.Unplug the charging cable (7) from the headphones and disconnect the charger from the power outlet.
3.3 Discharging In order to maintain full battery capacity for as long as possible, discharge the batteries com- Batteries pletely about once a month:
1.Switch the headphones on and leave them on the shelf until the POWER LED (2) extinguishes.
2.Recharge the batteries.
3.4 Replacing Batteries The capacity of any rechargeable battery will decrease over time. If you feel that you need to recharge the supplied batteries more often than would be convenient, you may consider replacing the batteries with new AAA size 1.2 V rechargeable or
1.5 V alkaline dry batteries.
1. Remove the ear pad from the left-hand earphone as shown in fig. 3.
2. Remove the old batteries.

3 Operating Notes
3.Referring to fig. 4, insert the new batteries into the battery compartment (4). Make sure to align the batteries with the polarity
marks inside the battery compartment.
4. Replace the ear pad on the earphone aligning the four pins on the ear pad with the matching openings in the earphone base plate.

8 Warranty Conditions
AKG warrants AKG products against evident defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase for use. This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse or abuse, or lack of reasonable care, or inadequate repairs performed by unauthorized service centers. Performance of repairs or replacements under this Warranty is subject to submission of the sales slip. Shipment of defective items for repair under this Warranty will be at the customerÕs own risk and expense. This Warranty is valid for the original purchaser only.
