OfficeConnect switches are designed
specifically for small offices that require
high network performance to exchange
large data files and images, and access
real-time information.
The OfficeConnect Switch family offers
connections at 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX
or 10BASE-T, with an effective throughput
of up to 3.2Gbps, making them ideal for
connecting to high-speed servers, for
high-speed data links into the core of the
network, or for connecting to multiple
switches or hubs in small offices.
The OfficeConnect Switch family offers a
highly flexible migration path for businesses
upgrading to faster network connections.
Models include switches with 5, 8 and 16
10/100 ports, as well as an 8 port 10/100
switch with an integrated gigabit port, and
5 or 8 port gigabit switches.

Power LED
(Green) Indicates that the
power supply to the unit
is present.
Port Status LEDs
(Green/Yellow) Indicate
the status of each port. If
green, there is a link
present at 100 Mbps. If
yellow, there is a link
present at 10 Mbps. If
the LED is off, nothing is
connected. Flashing of an
LED indicates activity over
that link.
Duplex Indicator
(Orange) If the LED is
orange, the link is
running at full duplex. If
the LED is off but there is
a link on that port, that
link is running at half
duplex.
As this front view of the OfficeConnect Dual Speed Switch 8 illustrates, OfficeConnect units
offer a variety of LED indicators. This gives users immediate notification of problems, such as
excessive network use, without requiring special technical knowledge.
