Experience different venues. Exclusive Yamaha CINEMA DSP technology supports
playback of HD Audio (Dolby® TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio™, etc.), providing
natural and expansive sound imaging. CINEMA DSP transforms the dynamics of
the listening environment with the acoustics of famous venues from all around the
world. This unique Yamaha proprietary sound field creation technology was created
by combining measured sound field data with digital signal processing. Yamaha
collected sound field data from famous concert halls and music clubs around the
world, utilizing its wealth of experience in the fields of concert hall design, public
address and mixing. By digitizing that vast trove of information and incorporating it
into dedicated LSI devices, it effectively reproduces the spaces of those concert halls
on home equipment. With this astounding realism, you’ll enter a world of profound
theater sound.
YPAO™ Automatic Room Calibration
Every room is different. YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer)
analyzes the room acoustics and adjusts various audio parameters for optimum
sound in just a few minutes. Simply place the included microphone in the place
you’ll be sitting and run the YPAO calibration. It’s like having a professional
installer calibrate your system.

Bluetooth Output for Convenient Music Streaming
The RX-V385 is equipped with exclusive Yamaha Bluetooth technology, making
wireless listening more convenient than ever. You can stream music from Blu-ray
Disc™, CD, etc. from the RX-V383 to Bluetooth headphones for private listening or
to Bluetooth speakers. Pairing is easily accomplished using the remote control.
