SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the multicooker, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for further reference. Use the multicooker according to its intended pur­pose only, as it is stated in this instruction man­ual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
Before using the unit, closely examine the power cord and the power cord connection socket located on the unit body and make sure that they are not damaged. Do not use the unit if the power cord, the plug or the power cord connection socket are damaged.
Before switching the unit on, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
The power cord is equipped with a “europlug”; plug it into the socket with a reliable ground­ing contact.
Do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.
Make sure that the power cord is tightly inserted into the connection socket on the unit body and into the mains socket.
Use only the supplied power cord; do not use the power cord of other units.
Use only the removable parts supplied with the unit.
Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface away from moisture and heat sources and open flame.
Place the unit with free access to the mains socket.
Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
Do not place the unit close to walls and furni­ture. The gap between the multicooker body and the wall or furniture should be at least 20 cm and the gap above the multicooker should be at least 30-40 cm.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
Provide that the power cord does not come in contact with hot surfaces and sharp furni­ture edges. Avoid damaging the power cord isolation.
Do not touch the unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.
Never pull the power cord when disconnecting the unit from the mains, take the power plug and carefully remove it from the mains socket.
Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liq­uids.
Do not use the unit near containers filled with water, next to a kitchen sink, in wet basements or near a swimming pool.
If the multicooker is dropped into water, unplug it immediately and only then take the unit out of the water. Apply to the authorized service cen­ter for the further use of the multicooker.
Do not insert foreign objects into the steam release openings and make sure that no for­eign objects get between the lid and body of the multicooker.
Do not leave the operating unit unattended, always switch it off and unplug the unit when you are not using it.
The lid, the bowl and the unit body parts heat up during the multicooker operation, do not touch them.

To avoid burns by hot steam during the multi­cooker operation, do not bend over the steam release openings on the multicooker lid.
Be very careful when opening the multicooker lid during and immediately after the cooking.
Danger of burns by hot steam!
When the unit is operating in the «Roasting» mode, do not bend over the multicooker bowl to avoid burns by splashing hot oil.
Do not leave the multicooker lid open during the unit operation, except when operating in the «Roasting» program.
Never use the unit without the installed bowl and the steam valve. Do not switch the mul­ticooker on without products and sufficient amount of liquid in the cooking bowl.
Do not use the multicooker if the silicone gas­ket on the unit lid is damaged.
Follow the recipe recommendations for amount of dry products and required liquid volume.
Do not remove the bowl during operation.
Do not place or keep foreign objects in the bowl or in the multicooker body.
Do not place the unit on other household equipment.
Do not cover the multicooker during operation.
Attention! When steaming food, watch the level of liquid in the bowl, add water into the bowl as needed. Do not leave the unit unattended!
Do not carry the unit during operation. If you need to move the multicooker, unplug it, wait until the unit cools down, open the lid and remove the bowl with products, using thermal protective potholders, then set the bowl on a heat-resistant surface, close the lid and carry the unit, holding it by the carrying handle.
Keep the steam valve clean, clean it when it gets dirty.
Clean the unit regularly.
For children safety reasons, do not leave poly­ethylene bags, used as a packaging, unat­tended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with poly- ethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suf-
focation!
Do not allow children under 8 years of age to touch the unit body, the power cord or the power plug during operation of the unit.
Do not leave children unattended to pre­vent using the unit as a toy.
Close supervision is necessary when children under 8 years of age or disabled persons are near the operating unit.
This unit is not intended for usage by children under 8 years of age.
Children aged 8 and over as well as disabled persons can use this unit only under supervi­sion of a person who is responsible for their safety if they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions concerning the safe usage of the unit and information about danger that can be caused by its improper usage.
To avoid damages, transport the unit in original package only.
Never use the multicooker if the power cord or the power plug is damaged, if the multicooker works improperly or after it was dropped.
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas­semble the unit, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center from the contact address list given in the warranty cer­tificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
USING THE BOWL (11)
Use the multicooker and its parts for the intended purposes only. Do not use the cook­ing bowl by placing it on heating units or cook­ing surfaces.
Do not replace the bowl with any other con­tainer.
Always make sure that the surface of the heat­ing element (9) and the bottom of the bowl are clean and dry.
Do not use the bowl for mixing products. Never chop products in the bowl to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
Never leave or keep any foreign objects in the bowl.
When cooking food in the bowl, stir it only with the plastic soup ladle (18) or spatula (19).
Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl.
When cooking dishes with a lot of spices and seasonings, wash the bowl right after cooking.
To avoid damaging the bowl coating, do not put the bowl under cold water right after cook­ing, let it cool down preliminarily.
The bowl is not intended for washing in the dishwashing machine.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature.
Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials that can prevent multi­cooker operation.
Place the multicooker on a flat heat-resistant surface away from all kitchen heat sources

In standby mode (the symbols «88:88» on the dis­play) press the button (13) to switch to the cooking programs selection.
«+/-» buttons (14)
Use the «+/-» buttons (14) to select the cooking program, to set the cooking time and the tempera-
ture as well as the delayed start function. (such as gas cooker, electric cooker or cook­ing unit).
Place the multicooker keeping at least 20 cm gap between the multicooker body and the wall and 30-40 cm gap above the unit.
Do not place the multicooker close to the objects that can be damaged by the released steam of high temperature.
Button (15)
Use the button (15) for switching the unit from the
sleep mode (the symbols «- - - -» on the display)
to the standby mode (the symbols «88:88»), for
switching the cooking program on or off as well
as for reswitching to the standby mode or to the
sleep mode.
Attention! Do not place the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with water.
Open the lid (4) by pressing the button (5) and remove the bowl (11).
Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge and a neutral detergent: bowl (11), steam cooking basket (17), soup ladle (18), spatula (19) and measuring cup (20). Then rinse them under running water and dry.
Clean the unit body (1) and lid (4) with a damp cloth, and then wipe them dry.
«DELAYED START» button (16)
Using the delayed start function you can set
the cooking end time. See the list of programs
with available delayed start function in the table
«Cooking programs».
Having selected the cooking program, press
the «DELAYED START» button (16), then set the
delayed start time from 1 hour to 24 hours with
1 hour step using the buttons (14) «+/-».
Example: If you set the delayed start time for 2:00
and the selected program runtime is 50 minutes,
the unit will stay in the delayed start mode during

Watch the cooking process and switch the multicooker off when the food is ready. Do not leave the unit unattended.
Do not open the lid (4) during the «Baking» program operation.
In the «Roasting» program, the unit operates similarly to a kitchen stove, it is necessary to watch the cooking process.
Do not leave the lid of the unit open during the multicooker operation, except the «Roasting» program.
To avoid scorching products switch the keep warm function off after «Baking» program end­ing.
The «Multicook» program is intended for advanced users with sufficient cooking expe­rience.
See recipes of dishes in the Recipe book (supplied with the unit). All recipes are to be taken as recommendations as the required amount and proportions of the ingredients may vary depending on local peculiarities of the food and altitude above sea level.
USING THE MULTICOOKER
1.
Loading foodstuffs and connecting the multicooker to the mains
Notes:
Do not use the bowl (11) for washing cereals and do not chop products in the bowl (11), this can damage the non-stick coating.
Make sure that there are no foreign objects, dirt or moisture in the process chamber and on the bottom of the bowl (11).
Wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the bowl (11) dry before use.
In the middle of the heating element (9) there is a temperature sensor (10). Make sure that the movement of the sensor is not limited.
Make sure that the level of ingredients and liquids in the bowl (11) does not exceed
the maximal mark «1.5» according to the «CONGEE» scale and is not lower than the minimal mark «2» according to the «RICE» scale. The maximal level mark for porridges (except rice) should be «8» according to the «RICE» scale.
Fluffy rice cooking
Use the «RICE» scale to make fluffy rice. Measure
the required amount of rice with the measur-
ing cup (20), wash the rice and put it in the bowl.
Pour water up to the mark corresponding to the
rice cup amount. For example, after putting four
measuring cups of rice, pour water till the mark
«4» according to the «RICE» scale.
Rice porridge (congee) cooking
Use the «CONGEE» scale to make sodden rice
porridge (congee). Take the required rice volume
(from 0,5 to 1,5 liter), put it in the bowl and pour
over with water till the corresponding mark on the
«CONGEE» scale. For example, if you have mea-
sured 1 liter of rice, pour the water till the mark «1»
on the «CONGEE» scale.
Put the food into the bowl (11) following the recipe
(see the Recipe book).
Place the bowl (11) in the unit process cham­ber. Make sure that the outer surface of the bowl is clean and dry, and the bowl itself is placed evenly and is in secure contact with the surface of the heating element (9).
If you steam products, pour water into the bowl (11) so that boiling water doesn’t reach the bottom of the basket (17). Put the food into the basket and place it in the bowl.
Close the lid (4) until clicking. If you are cooking in the «Roasting» program, leave the lid open.
Insert the power cord jack into the connection socket (8) and the power cord plug - into the socket. You will hear a sound signal, the sleep mode symbols «- - - -» will be shown on the display (3).

To switch the unit from the sleep mode to the standby mode, press the button (15) symbols «88:88» will be shown on the dis­play (3).

Selecting the cooking program
Press the «MENU» button (13) in the standby mode.
Select the cooking program pressing the but­tons (14) «+/-», the corresponding program indicator will be flashing and the default cook­ing duration will be shown on the display.
3.
Setting the cooking temperature
Note: This function is available for the «Multicook» program only. If you are using some other program, go to the step «Setting the cooking duration».
Press the button (15) , then set the cooking temperature (С) using the buttons (14) «+/-».

Setting the cooking duration
Note: The cooking duration setting is available for all programs except the “Rice” program (see the «Cooking programs» table). If you are using the «Rice» program, go to the step «Delayed start setting».
Press the button (15) , the cooking duration indication will be flashing on the display.
Use the buttons (14) «+/-» to set the necessary cooking time (see the «Cooking programs» table).
5.
Setting the delayed start function
Note: If you want to start cooking immediately, go to the step «Switching the cooking program on».
Touch the «DELAYED START» button (16), the indicator
will appear on the display, the
delayed start time in hours will be flashing.
Use the buttons (14) «-/+» to set the delayed start time in hours.
Touch the «DELAYED START» button (16), the minutes digits will be flashing.
Use the buttons (14) «-/+» to set the delayed start time in minutes.
6.
Starting the cooking program
Press the button (15) , the remaining program operation time will be shown on the display (3).
If you have switched the delayed start function on, the symbol
will be shown on the display (3). Once the delayed start time is over, the cooking program will be switched on and the symbol
will go out.
Notes:
If during 1 minute after setting you haven’t pressed the button (15)
, you will hear 10 sound signals and 20 seconds later the unit will be switched to the standby mode.
You can switch the cooking on while the sig­nals are sounding. To do it, press the button (15)
.
7.
End of cooking
When the cooking is over, you will hear the sound signals.
If the keep warm function is available for the selected program, the unit will switch on this function automatically, the symbol up, the unit operation time in the keep warm mode will be shown on the display (3). To switch the keep warm mode off, press the but­ton (15)
Switch the unit to the sleep mode by pressing
, the symbol will go out.

Notes:
Despite the unit keeps the ready dish warm for 24 hours, it is not recommended to leave the cooked food in the bowl (11) for a long time, because this may spoil the food.
Do not use the keep warm function for heating up the products.
Attention!
Never leave the operating unit unattended.
To avoid scalding, be careful when open­ing the lid (4). Do not bend over the steam release openings on the multicooker lid and do not place open parts of your body above the steam openings and the bowl (11)!
During the first operation of the multi­cooker, some foreign smell from the heat­ing element can appear. It is normal.
Watch the food during cooking and, if nec­essary, stir the products with the plastic soup ladle (18) or spatula (19). Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non­stick coating of the bowl (11).

МЕРЫ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ
Перед началом эксплуатации мультиварки внимательно прочитайте настоящую инструк­цию по эксплуатации и сохраните её для использования в качестве справочного мате­риала. Используйте мультиварку только по её пря­мому назначению, как изложено в данной инструкции. Неправильное обращение с устройством может привести к его поломке, причинению вреда пользователю или его иму­ществу.
Перед использованием устройства внима­тельно осмотрите электросетевой шнур и
гнездо для подключения электросетевого шнура, расположенное на корпусе устрой­ства, убедитесь в том, что они не имеют повреждений. При наличии повреждений электросетевого шнура, вилки сетевого шнура или гнезда для подключения сете­вого шнура не используйте устройство.
Перед включением устройства убеди­тесь в том, что напряжение электрической сети соответствует рабочему напряжению устройства.
Сетевой шнур снабжён «евровилкой»; включайте её в электрическую розетку, имеющую надёжный контакт заземления.
При подключении устройства к электриче­ской сети запрещается использовать пере­ходники.
Следите за тем, чтобы электросетевой шнур был плотно вставлен в гнездо на кор­пусе устройства и в электрическую розетку.
Используйте только тот сетевой шнур, кото­рый входит в комплект поставки, запреща­ется использовать сетевой шнур от других устройств.
