CONNECTING AND INSTALLING THE WEBCAM
1. Insert the CD containing your Webcam’s drivers and software tools into your CD-ROM drive. If the Autorun function is
enabled on your computer, the relevant InstallShield screen will display automatically. Should the Autorun function be
deactivated on your system, locate the file named Setup.exe in the CD’s root directory and double-click on its icon to run
the program.
2. Follow the instructions displayed onscreen to proceed with the installation. Once the installation process has completed,
you may be requested to restart your computer. Please proceed according to the instructions provided.
Note: Windows 98 users will be requested to insert the Windows 98 CD in their CD-ROM drive for the installation to
complete.
3. Connect your Webcam’s USB connector to your computer’s USB port. Likewise, connect the microphone and
headphone Jacks to the relevant connectors located on your soundboard (these may be color-coded).
4. Start your web-based conferencing, chat or video capture application. Please refer to the relevant software’s help file to
obtain instructions concerning the software’s utilization and functionalities.

REMOVING THE WEBCAM FROM YOUR SYSTEM
1. Disconnect the Webcam and headphone connectors from your computer’s ports.
2. Click on the program’s Uninstall shortcut located in the Windows Start menu to proceed; alternatively, you can access
the Add or Remove Programs option in the Windows Control Panel, then select the relevant programs.
3. Proceed according to the instructions displayed onscreen.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Worldwide, Guillemot Corporation S.A. (“Guillemot”) warrants to the consumer that this Thrustmaster product will be free from material defects and
manufacturing flaws for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Should the product appear to be defective during the warranty
period, immediately contact Technical Support, who will indicate the procedure to follow. If the defect is confirmed, the product must be returned to
its place of purchase (or any other location indicated by Technical Support).
Within the context of this warranty, the consumer’s defective product will, at Technical Support’s option, be either repaired or replaced. Where
authorized by applicable law, the full liability of Guillemot and its subsidiaries (including for indirect damages) is limited to the repair or replacement
of the Thrustmaster product. The consumer’s legal rights with respect to legislation applicable to the sale of consumer goods are not affected by this
warranty.
This warranty shall not apply: (1) if the product has been modified, opened, altered, or has suffered damage as a result of inappropriate or abusive
use, negligence, an accident, normal wear, or any other cause not related to a material defect or manufacturing flaw; (2) in the event of failure to
comply with the instructions provided by Technical Support; (3) to software not published by Guillemot, said software being subject to a specific
warranty provided by its publisher.
Additional warranty provisions
In the United States of America and in Canada, this warranty is limited to the product’s internal mechanism and external housing. Any applicable
implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby limited to two (2) years from the date of
purchase and are subject to the conditions set forth in this limited warranty. In no event shall Guillemot Corporation S.A. or its affiliates be liable for
consequential or incidental damage resulting from the breach of any express or implied warranties. Some States/Provinces do not allow limitation on
how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusion or limitation of incidental/consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which vary from State to State or Province to Province.

CONNEXION ET INSTALLATION DE LA WEBCAM
1. Insérez le CD contenant les pilotes et logiciels de votre Webcam dans votre lecteur de CD-ROM. Si la fonction « Exécution
automatique » est activée sur votre ordinateur, l’écran de l’Assistant d’installation s’affichera automatiquement. Si la fonction
d’exécution automatique est désactivée sur votre système, recherchez le fichier intitulé Setup.exe dans le répertoire racine
de votre CD, et double-cliquez sur son icône afin de démarrer le programme d’installation.
2. Suivez les instructions affichées à l’écran pour poursuivre l’installation. Une fois la procédure d’installation terminée, le
programme vous demandera peut-être de redémarrer votre ordinateur ; veuillez suivre les instructions fournies à l’écran.
Remarque : Les utilisateurs de Windows 98 devront installer le CD de Windows 98 dans leur lecteur de CD-ROM pour
finaliser l’installation.
3. Branchez le connecteur USB de votre Webcam sur le port USB de votre ordinateur. Ensuite, insérez les fiches Jack du
casque et du microphone dans les connecteurs adéquats de votre carte son (ces connecteurs seront parfois identifiés par
différentes couleurs).
4. Démarrez votre application de conférence ou de discussion en ligne, ou exécutez votre application de capture vidéo.
Reportez-vous au fichier d’aide du logiciel concerné pour obtenir des instructions concernant l'utilisation et les fonctions du
logiciel.
Pour ajuster la netteté de l’image filmée par la Webcam, tournez l’objectif fileté de la caméra dans le sens approprié
jusqu’à obtenir une image nette et claire.

RETIRER LA WEBCAM DE VOTRE ORDINATEUR
1. Débranchez les connecteurs de la Webcam et du casque des ports de votre ordinateur.
2. Cliquez sur le raccourci du programme de Désinstallation situé dans le Menu Démarrer de Windows ; vous pouvez
également accéder à la fenêtre Ajout/suppression de programmes du Panneau de configuration de Windows et
sélectionner le(s) programme(s) concerné(s).
3. Suivez ensuite les instructions affichées à l'écran pour désinstaller la Webcam de votre système.

ANSCHLUSS UND INSTALLATION DER WEBCAM
Hinweis: Webcam darf nicht angeschlossen werden bevor die Installation beendet ist.
1. Legen Sie die CD mit den Treibern und Tools für Ihre Webcam in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein. Wenn die AutoRun-
Funktion an Ihrem Rechner aktiviert ist, wird der relevante InstallShield-Bildschirm automatisch erscheinen. Sollte die
AutoRun-Funktion auf Ihrem System deaktiviert sein, suchen Sie die Datei Setup.exe im Root-Verzeichnis der CD und
doppelklicken Sie auf das Icon, um das Programm zu starten.
2. Folgen Sie den Bildschirmanweisungen während der Installation. Wenn die Installation beendet ist, werden Sie
aufgefordert, Ihren Computer neu zu starten. Bitte fahren Sie gemäß der Bildschirmanweisungen fort.
Hinweis: Benutzer von Windows 98 werden aufgefordert, die Windows 98-CD in ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk einzulegen, um
die Installation abzuschließen.
3. Verbinden Sie den USB-Anschluß der Webcam mit dem USB-Anschluß Ihres Computers. Genauso verbinden Sie den
Mikrophon- und Kopfhörer-Stecker an die entsprechenden Anschlüsse an Ihrer Soundkarte (diese könnten farbig
gekennzeichnet sein).
4. Starten Sie Ihre web-basierte Konferenz, Chat oder Videocapturing Applikation. Bitte sehen Sie in der Hilfe der jeweiligen
Software nach, um Anweisungen für den korrekten Gebrauch und die Funktionalitäten der Software zu erhalten.
Um den Fokus des Kamerabildes anzupassen, drehen Sie den Ring der Kameralinse in die passende Richtung bis die
Webcam ein scharfes fokussiertes Bild liefert.
