感電
火災や感電により死亡や大けがにつながることがあります。
不安定な場所に設置しない
次のような場所に設置すると、倒れたり落ちたりして、けがの原因となることがあ
りま す 。
• ぐらついた台の上
• 傾いたところ
• 振動や衝撃のかかるところ
また、設置・取り付け場所の強度を充分にお確かめください。
指定された電源コード、接続ケーブルを使う
取扱説明書に記されている電源コード、接続ケーブルを使わないと、感電や故障
の原因になることがあります。
安全アースを接続する
安全アースを接続しないと、感電することがあります。
• 電源コンセントが 3 極 の 場 合
指定の電源コードを使用することで安全アースが接続されます。
• 電源コンセントが 2 極 の 場 合
指定の3極t2極変換プラグを使用し、変 換プラグから出ている緑 色のアース
線を建 物に備えられているアース端子に接続してください。
安全アースを取り付けることができない場合は、お買い上げ店またはソニー業務
用製品ご相談窓口にご相談ください。
電源コードを傷つけない
電源コードを傷つけると、火災や感電の原因となることがあります。
• 設置時に、製品と壁やラック（棚）などの 間に、はさみ込んだりしない。
• 電源コードを加工したり、傷つけたりしない。
• 重 いものをの せたり、引っ張ったりしない。
• 熱器具に近づけたり、加熱したりしない。
• 電源コードを 抜くときは、必ずプラグを持って抜く。
万一、電源コードが 傷 ん だら、お買い上げ店またはソニー業務用製品ご相談窓口
にご依頼ください。
内部を開けない
内部には電圧の高い部分があり、キャビネットや 裏 蓋を開 けたり改造したりすると、
火災や感電の原因となることがあります。内部の調整や設定、点検、修理は、お
買い上げ店またはソニー業務用製品ご相談窓口にご依頼ください。
ぬれた手で電源プラグをさわらない
ぬれた手で電源プラグの抜き差しをすると、感電の原因となることがあります。

内部の調整や設定および点検を行う必要がある場合は、必ずサービストレーニン
グを受けた技術者にご依頼ください。
電源コードのプラグおよびコネクターは、突き当たるまで差し
込む
まっすぐに 突き当たるまで差し込まないと、火災や感 電 の原因となります。
下記の注意を守らないと、
けがをしたり周辺の物品に損害を与えることがあります。
油煙、湯気、湿気、ほこりの多い場所には設置しない
上記のような場所に設置すると、火災や感電の原因となります。
この取扱説明書に記されている仕様条件以外の環境での使用は、火災や感電の
原因となります。
内部に水や異物を入れない
水や異物が入ると火災や感電の原因となることがあります。
万 一 、水 や 異 物 が 入 っ たときは、すぐ に 電 源を切り、電 源 コードや接続ケーブル
を抜いて、お買い上げ店またはソニー業務用製品ご相談窓口にご相談ください。
コード類は正しく配置する
電源コードや接続ケーブルは、足に引っかけると本機の落下や転倒などによりけ
がの原因となることがあります。
充分注意して接続・配置してください。
接続の際は電源を切る
電源を入れたままで電源コードや 接続ケーブ ルを接続 すると、感電や故障の原因
に なることが あります 。
お手入れや運搬をするとき、または使用しないときは、電源プ
ラグをコンセントから抜く
電源を接続したままお手入れや運搬をすると、感 電 の 原 因となることが ありま す 。
また、不用意な事故を防ぐため、使用しないときは電源プラグを抜いてください 。

電源コードの接続について
安全アースを接続しないと、感電の原因となることがあります。
次の方法でアースを接続してください。
• 電源コンセントが 3 極 の 場 合
付属の電源コードを使用することで、安全アースが接続されま
す。
• 電源コンセントが 2 極 の 場 合
付属の3極t 2極の変換プラグアダプターを使用し、変換プ
ラグアダプターから出ている緑色のアースを、建物に備えられ
ているアース端子に接続する。

特長
拡張ボード
拡張ボードSXA-120は、同時通訳会議システムコントロールユニッ
トSX-M700Aに取り付けるボードです。
拡張ボードSXA-120を取り付けることにより、以下の機能が可能と
なります 。
• 拡張ユニットSX-E120Aの接続により、議長／参加者ユニットを合
わせて120台まで接続可能です。
• RS-232C 端子装備により、外部コンピューターの接続が可能で
す。
増設ユニット
• コントロールユニットSX-M700Aに接続し、最大120人の会議シス
テムに対応可能です。
• コントロールユニットSX-M700Aと同一寸法であり、積載および標
準ラックに取り付けできます。

SXA-120 Expansion Board
This board is designed to be installed in the SX-M700A
control unit for simultaneous interpretation conference
system.
Installing this board in the control unit offers the
following functions:
• Connecting up to 120 chairman’s units and delegate’s
units by connecting the SX-E120A expansion unit.
• Connecting to the personal computer by RS-232C
interface.

• Designed to connect to the SX-M700A control unit so
as to support a conference of up to 120 delegates.
• Mounting in a 19-inch rack because of the same size
as that of the SX-M700A control unit.

1 POWER indicator
Lights when the power is supplied. The indicator lights
when the expansion unit is connected to the SX-M700A
control unit, the POWER swith 2 of the SX-E120A is
set to ON, and the POWER switch of the control unit is
set to ON.

2 POWER switch
Normally set this switch to ON (`).
When the power switch of the SX-M700A control unit
is set to ON, the SX-E120A turns on if this switch is
set to ON and the POWER indicator 1 lights.
If the system is not used for a long period, set this
switch to OFF (a).

3 AC IN connector
Connect the unit to an AC power source using the
supplied AC power cord.
4 POWER CONTROL CHECK-REMOTE switch
REMOTE: Normally set this switch to this position.
The power of the SX-E120A is turned on or off
according to turning on or off the power of the SXM700A control unit with the POWER switch of the
unit set to ON.
CHECK: Set this switch to this position when the unit
is independently checked for maintenance and so
on by using the power of the expansion unit.
5 CONTROL UNIT connector (20-pin multiconnector)
Used to connect to the SX-M700A control unit.

120.
6 DELEGATE’S/CHAIRMAN’S UNIT 5/6/7/8
connectors (20-pin multi-connector)
The same signal is input/output from/to the
DELEGATE’S/CHAIRMAN’S UNIT 5/6/7/8
connectors.
Up to 15 Chairman’s units SX-C700A and Delegate’s
units SX-D700A units can be connected to each of the
four connectors.
60 chairman’s units/delegate’s units can be connected
in total.
7 U (signal ground) terminal
Ground if necessary.

1 MIC LIMIT ON/OFF button
1 MIC (microphone) LIMIT ON/OFF button
Select the microphone control mode for the delegate’s
units.
The microphone of the chairman’s unit remains live
regardless of the setting of this button.
MIC LIMIT ON: Press this buttons such that the
indicator lights. Setting this mode allows the
microphones of up to five delegate’s units to be live
at the same time.
MIC LIMIT OFF: Press this button again such that
the indicator goes out. Setting this mode allows the
microphones of all delegate’s units to be live at the
same time.

is the same as connections between the SX-M700A

units/delegate’s units.
For detailed information, refer to the operation manual

Causes
The POWER CONTROL CHECKREMOTE switch placed on the rear panel
is set to CHECK.
•The POWER switch of the SX-E120A is
set to OFF.
•The connecting cable may be
disconnected.
