tions are a constituent of this product. They contain important information with regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use this appliance only as described and only for the speciﬁ ed areas of application. In addition, pass these operating instructions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

This appliance is used for cooking rice and steaming food such as vegetables or ﬁ sh. This appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households. Do not use

it for commercial applications!

Scope of delivery

This appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

Using the rice cooker

The appliance can be used to cook rice and steam other food at the same time. Experiment with ﬁ nding the right quantity of water and the right cooking time for the various foods.

Preparing pretreated rice

You will ﬁ nd pretreated rice on the retail market under the name "Quick cook rice", "Easy cook rice" or the like.

1) Open the lid by pressing the release 2 and lifting the lid simultaneously.

2) Remove the cooking bowl 0.

3) Pour the rice and the amount of water speciﬁ ed on the rice packet into the cooking bowl 0.

6) Connect the power cable 5 to the socket 8 and insert the mains plug into the power socket.

7) Press down the function selector switch 7 and cook the rice for the amount of time speciﬁ ed on the rice packet.

NOTE

► If you would like to use a diﬀ erent container than the measuring cup that is

vided q, the "Litre scale" in the cooking bowl 0 can be used for orien-

pro tation. For example, if you want to cook 0.6 litres of rice, you must measure out this quantity using a measuring cup and put the rice into the cooking bowl 0. Then put water into the cooking bowl 0, so that the water is up to the "0.6 l" mark. The scaling represents the value that results from the total quantity of rice with the water added. For this reason, do not use the scale to measure out liquids or food, since it only applies to the rice cooker!

7) After ﬁ lling the cooking bowl 0, put it back into the rice cooker housing.

3) Place the food to be steamed in the steam cooking insert 1.

4) Place the steam cooking insert 1 onto the cooking bowl 0.

5) Now close the lid.

6) Connect the power cable 5 to the socket 8 and insert the mains plug into the mains socket. The control lamp "

Under no circumstances must the rice cooker be submerged in water

or held under running water.

► No liquid must be allowed to penetrate the inside of the rice cooker or the

correctly inserted.

■ Clean the cooking bowl 0, the steam cooking insert

and the measuring cup q in water containing a mild detergent. Then rinse all parts with plenty of clean water to remove all residual detergent.

Johdanto

Onnittelut uuden laitteen hankinnasta. Olet valinnut laadukkaan tuotteen. Käyttöohje on osa tätä tuotetta. Se sisältää

tärkeitä turvallisuutta, käyttöä ja hävittämistä koskevia ohjeita. Tutustu ennen tuotteen käyttöä kaikkiin käyttö- ja turvallisuusohjeisiin. Käytä tuotetta vain kuvatulla tavalla ja vain mainittuihin käyttötarkoituksiin. Anna kaikki tuotetta koskevat asiakirjat mukaan luovuttaessasi tuotteen eteenpäin.

Tämä laite on tarkoitettu yksinomaan riisin keittämiseen ja elintarvikkeiden, esim. kasvisten tai kalan, höyrykypsennykseen.

Tämä laite on tarkoitettu ainoastaan yksityiskäyttöön. Älä käytä sitä ammattitarkoituksiin!

Toimituslaajuus

3) Puhdista kaikki laitteen osat luvussa "Puhdistaminen" kuvatulla tavalla.

Pakkauksen hävittäminen

Pakkaus suojaa laitetta kuljetusvaurioilta. Pakkausmateriaalit on valittu ympäristöystävälliset ja jätehuoltotekniset näkökulmat huomioiden ja siksi ne voidaan kierrättää.

Pakkauksen palauttaminen materiaalikiertoon säästää raaka-aineita ja vähentää jätteiden syntymistä. Hävitä tarpeettomat pakkausmateriaalit paikallisten voimassa olevien määräysten mukaisesti.

Riisikeittimen käyttö

Laitteella voidaan paitsi keittää riisiä myös höyrykypsentää muita elintarvikkeita. Oikean vesimäärän ja keittoajan löytäminen eri elintarvikkeille vaatii hieman kokeilua.

Esikäsitellyn riisin valmistaminen

Esikäsiteltyä riisiä myydään myös nimellä "pikariisi", tai pakkauksessa on merkintä "lyhyt keittoaika".
