Intended use
With this appliance you can gently remove hairs from your nose or
ears and and trim your eyebrows. This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic use. It is not intended for commercial applications.

INTERACTION WITH BATTERIES

Do not throw batteries into a fi re. Do not recharge batteries.

Regularly check the condition of the battery. A leaking
battery can cause damage to the appliance.

Remove the battery if you do not intend to use the appliance

In the event of the batteries leaking acids, fi rst put on a pair
of protective gloves. Then clean the battery compartment
and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.
Keep batteries well away from children. Children can put ►
batteries into their mouths and swallow them. If a battery is
swallowed, medical assistance must be sought immediately.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The
packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore
recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit
saves on raw material and reduces generated waste.
Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed
according to the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging ►
during the warranty period so that in the case of a warranty
claim you can package the appliance properly for return.
To open the battery compartment 1) 5, turn the battery compartment
cover 6 so far against the direction of the arrow on the hand element 4 that the spot on the battery compartment cover 6 lies
under the opened lock on the hand element 4
now take the battery compartment cover 6 off .
Insert a battery of the type AA/Mignon/LR06. Pay heed to the 2)
correct polarity (indicated in the battery compartment 5)!

Close the battery compartment 3) 5. To do this, place the battery
compartment cover 6 at an angle on the battery compartment 5,
so that the spot on the battery compartment cover 6 lies under
the opened lock on the hand element 4 . Turn the battery
compartment cover 6 until the spot lies under the closed lock on
the hand element
.
Using the appliance
Trimming nose hairs
Remove (if fi tted) the comb attachment 1) 7/8 from the cutting
head 1.
Slide the on/off switch 2) 3 upwards.
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY
Do not insert the cutting head ►1 too deeply!
NOTICE
Ensure that your nostrils are clean. ►
Guide the cutting head 3) 1 carefully into the nostril and slowly
turn the appliance so that all nose hair growth is removed.
Withdraw the cutting head 4) 1 out of the nostril whilst turning the
appliance.
Switch the appliance off by sliding the on/off switch 5) 3 downwards.
Trimming eyebrows
Affi x the desired comb attachment (4 mm 1) 7 or 7 mm 8) to the
cutting head 1 so that it is fi rmly seated.
Slide the on/off switch 2) 3 upwards.
To trim all of the hair of the eyebrow, move the comb attachment 3)
7/8 over the eyebrow and against the direction of hair growth.
To trim only individual hairs, move the comb attachment 4) 7/8
over the eyebrow and only against these individual hairs.
In order to trim hair to just above the skin surface, remove the 5)
comb attachment 7/8 and guide the cutting head 1 directly
over the skin in the desired areas.
Switch the appliance off by sliding the on/off switch 6) 3 downwards.

Cleaning and Care

Clean the appliance after every use:

Wipe the hand element
■4 with a moist cloth. For stubborn
soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth.

At regular intervals place a few drops of blade oil suitable ►
for razor appliances in the cutting head holder 2, at the
latest when the blades no longer run smoothly.
For this you need to remove the cutter head holder ►2:
Turn the cutter head holder 1) 2 anti-clockwise through
approx. 45° to release and remove it.
To reattach it, place the cutter head holder 2) 2 at about
45° to the right onto the hand element 4 and so that it
grips into the rail on the hand element 4.
Turn the cutter head holder 3) 2 in a clockwise direction
to secure it.
Storage
Store the appliance at a clean and dust-free location. ■
Always place the protective cover ■0 on the cutter head 1 to
protect it.
If the appliance is not to be used for an extended period, remove
■
the battery so as to avoid battery leakage.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your
community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations.

Disposal of batteries
Used batteries may not be disposed of in household waste. Every
consumer is statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection
site of his community/city district or at a retail store. The purpose of this
obligation is to ensure that batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting
manner. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.

Warranty
Dear customer,
You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase
date. In cases of defects with this product, statutory rights are available to you against the seller of the product. These statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by our warranty, which is detailed in
the following.
Warranty Provisions
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please retain
your receipt as proof of purchase. This document is required as the
proof of purchase. Should a material or manufacturing defect occur

within three years from the date of purchase of this product, the product will - at our option - be repaired or replaced free of charge by us.
This warranty benefi t requires that, within the three-year period, the defective product and the proof of purchase (receipt) are presented and
the defect is briefl y described in writing, in particular what it is and
when it occurred. Should the defect be covered by our warranty, we
will return the product either repaired or as a new replacement. A
new warranty period does not begin with the repair or replacement
of the product.
Warranty period and statutory defect claims
The warranty period is not extended by repairs eff ected under warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Damages or
defects discovered after purchase are to be reported directly after
unpacking, at the latest two days after the purchase date. Repairs
carried out after lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.
Warranty Coverage
The appliance was carefully produced according to strict quality
guidelines and thoroughly checked before delivery. The warranty
provisions apply to material or manufacturing defects. This warranty
does not extend to product components exposed to normal wear
and tear, and which can therefore be regarded as wearing parts, or
for damage to fragile parts such as switches, batteries, or parts that
are made of glass. A warranty liability will not be triggered for minor
deviations from the reference characteristics that are irrelevant to
the value and usability of the product, or for damage caused by the
chemical and electrochemical eff ects of water, as well as in general
from abnormal environmental conditions or extraneous operating
conditions or when the product has otherwise come into contact with
inappropriate materials.
This warranty lapses if the product is damaged or has not been
appropriately used or maintained. To qualify as appropriate use of
the product, all directives listed in the operating instructions are to be
strictly observed. Utilisations and activities that are advised against
or warned against in the operating instructions are to be implicitly
avoided.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications. In the event of misuse and improper handling, use
of force and interference not carried out by our authorised service
branch, the warranty will become void.
