1 Indicaciones de seguridad
1.1 sobre el manual de instrucciones
Lea este manual de instrucciones por completo
antes de utilizar el aparato. Guarde bien las
instrucciones. En caso de que ceda este aparato a un tercero, entréguele también el manual de instrucciones.
La inobservancia de este manual puede ser
origen de graves lesiones o de daños en el
aparato. No asumimos ningún tipo de respon-
sabilidad por los daños causados debido al incumplimiento de este manual de instrucciones.
1.2 sobre las indicaciones utilizadas
Las advertencias importantes para su seguridad están identificadas de forma especial. Es
imprescindible tener en cuenta estas advertencias para evitar accidentes y daños en el aparato:

muestra posibles riesgos de lesión.
ATENCIÓN:
Indica la posibilidad de que el aparato u
otros objetos corran peligro.

1.3 sobre los niños
Este aparato no está destinado para ser
usado por personas (incluidos niños) con capacidad física, sensorial o mental restringida o
con falta de experiencia y/o de conocimientos,
a no ser que sean supervisadas por una persona responsable de su seguridad o hayan recibido de ella instrucciones de cómo usar el aparato. Guarde el aparato de modo inaccesible
para este círculo de personas.
Los niños deben ser supervisados para
asegurarse de que no jueguen con el aparato.
Entre otros no deben ponerse de pie sobre el
aparato ni sentarse encima.
El material de embalaje no debe ser utiliza-
do para jugar. Existe peligro de asfixia.
1.4 sobre el uso adecuado
La aspiradora rodante está destinada sólo
al uso doméstico. No es adecuada para un uso
comercial.
Emplee la aspiradora rodante exclusiva-
mente para limpiar suelos, alfombras y cortinas
con un grado normal de suciedad.
Cualquier otra utilización se considera impropia y está prohibida.
Queda especialmente prohibido lo
siguiente:
Aspirar:
- personas, animales, plantas, especialmente cabellos, dedos u otras partes del
cuerpo, así como prendas de ropa llevadas sobre el cuerpo. Puede ser aspirada
y causar lesiones.
- Agua y otros líquidos, en especial productos de limpieza de alfombras en húmedo. La humedad en el interior del aparato puede provocar un cortocircuito.
- Polvo de tóners (para impresoras láser,
fotocopiadoras, etc.). Existe el riesgo de
incendio y explosión.
- Rescoldos, cigarrillos y cerillas encendidas. Pueden provocar un incendio.
- Objetos afilados, como cristales rotos,
clavos, etc. Estos objetos destruyen los
filtros.
- Yeso, cemento, polvo finísimo de taladrado, maquillaje, etc. Con ello el equipo
podría resultar dañado.
El uso en las cercanías de materiales ex-
plosivos o fácilmente inflamables. Existe riesgo
de incendio o explosión.
El empleo al aire libre. Existe el riesgo de
que la lluvia y la suciedad dañen el aparato.
La introducción de objetos en las aberturas
del aparato. Se podría sobrecalentar.
1.5 sobre la alimentación de tensión
El aparato funciona con corriente eléctrica,
por tanto existe en general el peligro de una
descarga eléctrica. Por esta razón, tenga muy
en cuenta lo siguiente:
- Jamás toque el enchufe con las manos
mojadas.
- Quite siempre el enchufe de la correspondiente caja tirando de aquél. No tire
nunca directamente del cable eléctrico
porque podría romperse.
- Procure que el cable eléctrico no se doble ni quede enganchado, y evite que se
pase por encima de él o esté en contacto
con fuentes de calor.
- Conecte el aparato exclusivamente a cajas de enchufe con toma de tierra.
- Utilice sólo cables de prolongación que
estén previstos para el consumo de potencia del aparato.
- Jamás sumerja el aparato en agua u
otros líquidos y manténgalo alejado de la
lluvia y de la humedad.
- Emplee el aparato únicamente si la tensión eléctrica indicada en la placa de características se corresponde con la tensión de su caja de enchufe. Una tensión
equivocada puede destruir el aparato.
- Para evitar riesgos, si la línea de conexión de este aparato está dañada, deberá ser reemplazada por el fabricante o
por su servicio de asistencia al cliente o
por una persona igualmente calificada.
1.6 en caso de aparato defectuoso
Jamás utilice un aparato defectuoso o un
aparato con un cable de corriente averiado.
Existe un considerable riesgo de lesiones.
Encargue la reparación del aparato defec-
tuoso a un distribuidor especializado, o bien al
Servicio de atención al cliente de Royal

2 Desembalar y montar el
aparato
2.1 Desembalaje
1. Desembale el aparato y todos los acceso-
rios.
2. Compruebe que el contenido está comple-
to e intacto. Información sobre el volumen
del suministro (fig. 1).
ATENCIÓN:
Por principio, transporte o envíe el aparato
en su embalaje original para que no resulte
dañado. Para ello guarde el embalaje.
Elimine el material de embalaje que ya no le
haga falta según la normativa vigente en su
país.
DVERTENCIA:
En caso de descubrir algún daño debido al
transporte, diríjase inmediatamente a su
comercio distribuidor.
2.2 Montaje
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Monte el aparato sólo
cuando la clavija esté desenchufada. De lo
contrario el aparato puede arrancar y ser
aspirados partes del cuerpo, cabellos o
prendas de ropa.
4. Ajuste la longitud del tubo telescópico. Pa-
ra ello presione el inmovilizador del tubo telescópico (fig. 4/1) hacia abajo. Tire del tubo telescópico hasta que se encuentre en
la posición deseada. Para bloquear, suelte
el inmovilizador del tubo telescópico al tirar
de éste. Escuchará claramente cómo encaja.

Su aspiradora rodante está ahora lista para ser
utilizada.
2.3 Utilizar otras toberas (accesorios)
Además de la tobera de suelo que acaba de
montar, puede ampliar las funciones de su aspiradora rodante con otras toberas como se
describe a continuación:

Para montar las toberas proceda de la si-
guiente manera:
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Monte las toberas sólo
cuando la clavija esté desenchufada. De lo
contrario el aparato puede arrancar y ser
aspirados partes del cuerpo, cabellos o prendas de ropa.
ATENCIÓN:
Aplique sólo toberas no dañadas. Toberas
dañadas pueden rasguñar o dañar objetos y
superficies.
1. Desconecte el aparato y desenchufe la cla-
vija de la caja correspondiente.
2. Quite la tobera colocada.
3. Introduzca la tobera deseada en el extremo
inferior del tubo telescópico (fig. 7/1) o, en
caso necesario, directamente en el asidero
(fig. 8/1).

1. Introduzca el extremo de la manguera de
aspiración con precisión de ajuste en la
abertura prevista (fig. 2) de la aspiradora
rodante, hasta que oiga y perciba que el
cierre encaja.

2. Introduzca el asidero (fig. 3/1) en el extre-
mo superior del tubo telescópico (fig. 3/2).
3. Introduzca la tobera de suelo (fig. 3/3) en el
extremo inferior del tubo telescópico (fig. 3/
4).

DVERTENCIA:
Quizás sea necesario presionar con más
fuerza.
- Tobera para ranuras (fig. 5/1)
Para aspirar lugares de difícil acceso.
- Cepillo para muebles (fig. 5/2)
Para aspirar superficies delicadas.
- Tobera para cojines (fig. 5/3)
Para la aspiración cuidadosa de muebles
tapizados.
Opcionalmente también se pueden adqui-
rir:

- Cepillo turbo (fig. 6/1)
Para la limpieza profunda de alfombras
con ayuda de su cabezal giratorio de cepillo.
DVERTENCIA:
Al utilizar el cepillo turbo se genera un fuerte
ruido, debido al elevado número de revoluciones del cepillo.
- Cepillo para parqués (fig. 6/2)
Para aspirar superficies especialmente
delicadas (p. ej. parqué, laminado) con la
ayuda de sus cerdas largas y blandas.

ATENCIÓN:
Si se emplea la aspiradora rodante sin que
tenga una tobera insertada existe un mayor
peligro de aspirar accidentalmente algún
objeto.
4. En la medida de lo posible, fije las toberas
que ya no necesite en la sujeción de accesorios (fig. 1/2).

3 Manejo
3.1 Aspirar el polvo
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Un aparato dañado no
debe ser utilizado. Compruebe la aspiradora
rodante y el cable eléctrico antes de cada
uso.
ATENCIÓN:
Emplee la aspiradora rodante únicamente si
todos los filtros están intactos, secos y colocados correctamente. Asegúrese de que no
esté obstruida ninguna abertura. En caso
contrario la aspiradora podría resultar dañada.
DVERTENCIA:
La aspiradora rodante dispone de una protección contra sobrecalentamiento. En caso
de sobrecalentamiento se desconecta automáticamente. Si éste fuese el caso, desconecte el aparato mediante el interruptor de
conexión / desconexión (fig. 10/1) y desenchufe la clavija. Elimine la causa del sobrecalentamiento (p. ej. conductos obstruidos o
filtros sucios). Aguarde aproximadamente 45
minutos. Una vez que el aparato se haya
enfriado podrá conectarlo nuevamente.
1. Monte la tobera deseada, ZCapítulo 2.2,
"Montaje" o bien ZCapítulo 2.3, "Utilizar
otras toberas (accesorios)".
2. Extraiga el cable de corriente hasta la mar-
ca amarilla (fig. 9/1).

5. Ajuste el conmutador "alfombra/suelo duro"
(fig. 11/1) según el revestimiento del suelo:

- Suelo duro (fig. 11/a), Laminado, baldo-
sas, PVC, etc.
- Alfombra (fig. 11/b), Alfombras de pelo
largo y corto, alfombrillas, etc.
6. Para aspirar arrastre la aspiradora rodante
a modo de trineo por detrás de usted. Tenga en cuenta las correspondientes recomendaciones de los fabricantes de revestimientos de suelos.

3.2 Ajustar la potencia de aspiración
Ud. tiene la posibilidad de adaptar la potencia
de aspiración al fondo a ser aspirado.
1. Desplace el regulador de potencia de aspi-
ración para adecuarla sin escalonamientos
(fig. 12):

3.4 Transportar y almacenar el aparato
Para el transporte Ud. puede llevar la as-
piradora rodante ya sea del asa de transporte
(fig. 13/1) o por la cavidad del asidero (fig. 13/
2).

Para estacionar o durante las pausas de
trabajo, Ud. puede colgar el gancho de estacionamiento / para guardar en el soporte de estacionamiento (fig. 14). Se recomienda retraer
previamente el tubo telescópico.

AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Durante las pausas de
trabajo, desconecte el aparato y observe las
indicaciones bajo ZCapítulo 3.3, "Desconec-
tar y enrollar el cable eléctrico".
AVISO:
¡Peligro de una descarga eléctrica! En caso
de que se vea la marca roja (fig. 9/2) vuelva
a introducir el cable con ayuda del pulsador
para enrollar el cable (fig. 10/2) hasta la
marca amarilla. En caso contrario se puede
romper el cable.
3. Enchufe la clavija en una caja de enchufe
con contacto de protección.
4. Conecte la aspiradora rodante en el interrup-
tor de conexión / desconexión (fig. 10/1).

DVERTENCIA:
Con el regulador de aire adicional (fig. 1/5)
Ud. puede reducir rápidamente la potencia de
aspiración, en caso de que fuese requerida
una menor potencia de aspiración o, p. ej.,
para liberar nuevamente objetos aspirados.
3.3 Desconectar y enrollar el cable
eléctrico
1. Desconecte la aspiradora rodante median-
te el interruptor de conexión / desconexión
(fig. 10/1) y extraiga el enchufe de la caja.
2. Sostenga la clavija en la mano.
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Si el cable eléctrico se
enrolla incontroladamente, puede dar bandazos, hacer que se tropiece o producir la
caída de objetos. Por ello sostenga la clavija
en la mano y condúzcala durante el enrollamiento del cable de corriente.
3. Para recoger el cable de corriente presione
el pulsador (fig. 10/2) para enrollarlo.
Para guardar la aspiradora puede colgar el
gancho de estacionamiento / para guardar en
la fijación (fig. 15) localizada debajo de la aspiradora rodante. Se recomienda retraer previamente el tubo telescópico.

ATENCIÓN:
Jamás deje el aparato en la proximidad
inmediata de fuentes de calor (p. ej. de la
calefacción o del horno). Evite la incidencia
directa de rayos solares sobre el aparato. El
calor puede dañar el aparato.
Para almacenar durante un período pro-
longado de tiempo reemplace la bolsa filtrante
de polvo por una nueva ZPágina 7, „Cambiar
la bolsa filtrante de polvo“.
Guarde el aparato siempre en un lugar fres-
co y seco e inaccesible para los niños.

4 Mantenimiento
4.1 Cambiar la bolsa filtrante de
polvo
Cambie la bolsa filtrante de polvo, a más
tardar cuando se ilumine el indicador electrónico de cambio de bolsa filtrante (fig. 16) o cuando se reduzca el efecto de aspiración.

ATENCIÓN:
Antes de cambiar la bolsa filtrante de polvo
desconecte el aparato y tenga en cuenta las
advertencias en ZCapítulo 3.3, "Desconec-
tar y enrollar el cable eléctrico". Así evitará
que el polvo dañe el aparato.
1. Rebata el asa de transporte hacia atrás
(fig. 17/1.).
2. Abra la tapa del recinto de polvo desblo-
queándola y levantándola a continuación
(fig. 17/2.).

4. Libere la bolsa filtrante de polvo tirando ha-
cia atrás el clip de sujeción (fig. 18/1).
5. A continuación extraiga la bolsa filtrante de
polvo hacia arriba (fig. 18/2).

6. Elimine los restos de polvo que eventual-
mente se encuentren en el recinto de polvo.
DVERTENCIA:
La bolsa filtrante de polvo puede ser desechada con la basura normal si no contiene
ningún desperdicio prohibido para la basura
doméstica.
7. Primero coloque la nueva bolsa filtrante de
polvo abajo en su alojamiento (fig. 19/1.).
DVERTENCIA:
La flecha (Ø) que se encuentra en el rótulo
de cartón de la bolsa filtrante de polvo indica
la dirección de colocación y tiene que estar
dirigida hacia abajo.
8. A continuación empuje arriba contra el clip
de sujeción (fig. 19/2.), hasta que éste
bloquee la bolsa filtrante de polvo.

4.2 Cambio de filtros
La aspiradora rodante posee los siguientes filtros:

Filtro de protección del motor (fig. 20/1)
evita que partículas más grandes destruyan el
motor en caso de que la bolsa filtrante de polvo
esté dañada.
Reemplazo: después de cada apertura de un
nuevo paquete de bolsas filtrantes de polvo,
dado que allí esta contenido básicamente un
nuevo filtro de protección de motor, pero a más
tardar cada 6 meses
Filtro de evacuación higiénica (fig. 20/2)
filtra las partículas más finas del aire evacuado.
Reemplazo: cada 6 meses
Los filtros se pueden obstruir al cabo de cierto
tiempo y reducir así la potencia de aspiración.
Por eso es importante que Ud. cumpla los intervalos arriba indicados.
Por otra parte sustituya sin demora los fil-
tros dañados.
ATENCIÓN:
Los filtros no son lavables. El filtro de evacuación higiénica no es reutilizable.

3. Levante la tapa del recinto de polvo hasta
que haya encastrado perceptiblemente y
permanezca abierta por sí misma.
DVERTENCIA:
Al sacar la bolsa filtrante de polvo proceda
cuidadosamente para que no haya fuga de
polvo de la misma.
9. Cierre la tapa del recinto de polvo. Encaja
haciendo un ruido perceptible.
DVERTENCIA:
La tapa del recinto de polvo sólo puede ser
cerrada una vez colocada una bolsa filtrante
de polvo.
DVERTENCIA:
En caso de que el filtro de protección del
motor no esté muy sucio, también puede ser
suficiente sacudirlo sobre un cubo de
basura. Sin embargo, recomendamos reemplazar el filtro de protección del motor después de cada apertura de un nuevo paquete
de bolsas filtrantes de polvo (ZCapítulo 5.1,
"Lista de accesorios y de piezas de recambio").

4.3 Cambiar el filtro de evacuación
higiénica
1. Desconecte el aparato. ZCapítulo 3.3,
"Desconectar y enrollar el cable eléctrico".
2. Desbloquee la cubierta del filtro de evacua-
ción (fig. 21/A).
3. Extraiga el filtro de evacuación higiénica
(fig. 21/B).

4. Coloque un nuevo filtro de evacuación hi-
giénica (ZCapítulo 5.1, "Lista de acceso-
rios y de piezas de recambio").
5. Aplique primero atrás la cubierta del filtro
de evacuación (fig. 22/A).
6. A continuación oprima fuertemente la cu-
bierta del filtro de evacuación hacia abajo
(fig. 22/B), hasta que encastre de modo
claramente audible y perceptible.

DVERTENCIA:
Preste atención a que el filtro de evacuación
higiénica siempre esté correctamente alojado y que la cubierta del filtro de evacuación
siempre haya encajado completamente,
dado que de lo contrario el aire de evacuación no será filtrado suficientemente.
4.4 Cambiar el filtro de protección
del motor
1. Desconecte el aparato y extraiga la bolsa
filtrante de polvo como se describe en
ZCapítulo 4.1, "Cambiar la bolsa filtrante
de polvo", pasos 1-4.
2. Saque el soporte del filtro junto con el filtro
de protección del motor (fig. 23).

3. Separe el filtro de protección del motor del
soporte del filtro sosteniéndolos sobre un
cubo de basura (fig. 24/A).

En caso de suciedad ligera del filtro de pro-
tección del motor:
- Golpee ligeramente el filtro de protección
del motor sobre un cubo de basura
(fig. 24/B).
En caso de suciedad intensa del filtro de
protección del motor:
- Cambie el filtro de protección usado del
motor por uno nuevo. Si el nuevo filtro de
protección del motor es demasiado grande, coloque el filtro de protección usado
sobre el recorte del nuevo filtro de protección del motor. Marque los contornos y
recorte el filtro de protección del motor
adecuadamente.
4. Limpie el soporte del filtro.
5. Coloque el soporte del filtro junto con el fil-
tro de protección del motor desde arriba en
su alojamiento (fig. 25).

6. Coloque una bolsa filtrante de polvo y cie-
rre la tapa del recinto de polvo. La tapa encaja haciendo un ruido perceptible.
4.5 Limpiar la carcasa
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! Antes de limpiar el aparato, desconéctelo y desenchufe la clavija
ZCapítulo 3.3, "Desconectar y enrollar el
cable eléctrico". De lo contrario el aparato
puede arrancar y ser aspirados partes del
cuerpo, cabellos o prendas de ropa.
ATENCIÓN:
No utilice productos de limpieza, abrasivos,
ni alcohol, ya que pueden dañar el aparato.
Limpie la carcasa exclusivamente con un
paño ligeramente húmedo.

Antes de contactar a su concesionario oficial Royal, al socio de servicio Royal o a su mercado especializado, verifique con la siguiente tabla si puede
solucionar el problema por sí mismo.
AVISO:
¡Peligro de lesiones! ¡Jamás utilice un aparato defectuoso! Antes de ponerse a localizar el problema, desconecte el aparato y desenchufe la clavija de
la caja de enchufe, ZCapítulo 3.3, "Desconectar y enrollar el cable eléctrico".

Los filtros utilizados están fabricados de materiales compatibles con el medio ambiente y pueden ser eliminados con la basura doméstica.
Cuando el aparato haya alcanzado
el fin de su vida útil, en especial
cuando aparezcan problemas de
funcionamiento, inutilícelo desenchufando la clavija y cortando el cable eléctrico.
Elimine el aparato de acuerdo con las normas
medioambientales vigentes en su país. Los residuos eléctricos no deben ser desechados
con los residuos domésticos. Diríjase a su
ayuntamiento o a su proveedor en caso de dudas sobre el reciclaje.
6 Garantía
6.1 Condiciones de la garantía
Ofrecemos una garantía de 24 meses a partir
de la fecha de compra para el aparato distribuido por nosotros. Durante este periodo de garantía eliminaremos gratuitamente todas las fallas que se deban al material o a errores de
fabricación. Esta eliminación se efectuará según nuestro arbitrio, mediante la reparación o
cambio del aparato o del accesorio (los daños
de piezas de accesorios no conllevan un cambio automático de todo el aparato). Quedan excluidos de la garantía los daños que sean consecuencia de un uso inadecuado (operación
del aparato con un tipo de corriente/tensión
equivocados, conexión a fuentes de alimentación inadecuadas, rotura, etc.), de desgaste y
de defectos que no influyan significativamente
sobre el valor o la capacidad de uso del aparato. La garantía caduca si intervienen establecimientos no autorizados por nosotros o son utilizadas piezas de recambio que no sean las

1.4 sull'impiego conforme alla
destinazione d'uso
L'aspirapolvere può essere usato soltanto
in ambito domestico. Non è adatto per l'impiego industriale.
L'aspirapolvere deve essere utilizzato esclu-
sivamente per pulire pavimenti, tappeti, moquette e tende normalmente sporchi.
Ogni altro utilizzo è considerato non conforme
alla destinazione d'uso e pertanto vietato.
In particolare è vietato:
Aspirare:
- Persone, animali, piante, in particolare
capelli, dita o altre parti del corpo nonché
capi di vestiario indossati. Possono venir
risucchiati, causando gravi lesioni.
Inoltre è vietato aspirare:
- Acqua e altri liquidi, in particolare detergenti per la pulizia a umido di tappeti e
moquette. L'umidità presente all'interno
può infatti causare cortocircuiti.
- Polvere di toner (per stampanti laser, fotocopiatrici, ecc.). Sussiste il pericolo
d'incendio ed esplosione.
- Cenere incandescente, sigarette o fiammiferi accesi. Possono causare incendi.
- Oggetti appuntiti, come schegge di vetro,
chiodi, ecc., che possono distruggere i filtri.
- Gesso, cemento, polveri fini da trapanazioni, trucchi, ecc. Possono danneggiare
l'apparecchio.
L'impiego nei pressi di sostanze esplosive
o facilmente infiammabili. Sussiste il pericolo di
incendi o esplosioni.
L'utilizzo all'aperto. Vi è il pericolo che piog-
gia e sporco distruggano l'apparecchio.
Introdurre oggetti nelle aperture dell'elettro-
domestico. Potrebbe surriscaldarsi.
1.5 sull'alimentazione elettrica
L'apparecchio è azionato a energia elettri-
ca; quindi in linea di principio sussiste il pericolo di prendere la scossa. Pertanto è necessario
osservare in particolare quanto segue:
- Non toccare mai la spina a mani bagnate.
- Per staccare la spina dalla presa elettrica, afferrare sempre direttamente la spina e mai il cavo elettrico, in quanto potrebbe strapparsi.
- Assicurarsi che il cavo elettrico non sia
piegato o incastrato, non venga calpestato e non entri a contatto con fonti di calore.
- Collegare l'apparecchio esclusivamente
a prese elettriche con contatto di protezione.
- Usare soltanto cavi di prolunga dimensionati per la potenza assorbita dall'elettrodomestico.
- Non immergere mai l'elettrodomestico in
acqua o altri liquidi e tenerlo lontano da
pioggia e umidità.
- Mettere in funzione l'apparecchio soltanto se la tensione indicata sulla targhetta
di omologazione corrisponde a quella
della presa elettrica. Tensioni errate possono infatti distruggere l'elettrodomestico.
1.6 se l'apparecchio è difettoso
Non far mai funzionare l'elettrodomestico
se esso o il relativo cavo elettrico sono difettosi. Se la conduttura di allacciamento di questo
apparecchio è danneggiata, per prevenire
eventuali pericoli, deve essere sostituita dal
produttore, dal servizio assistenza o da un tecnico adeguatamente qualificato.

2 Disimballo e montaggio
2.1 Disimballo
1. Sballare l’apparecchio e tutti gli accessori.
2. Controllare che il contenuto sia integro e
completo (Fig. 1).
ATTENZIONE:
In linea di principio l'apparecchio deve
essere trasportato/spedito nell'imballo originale in modo che non subisca danni. Pertanto è necessario conservare l'imballo. Il
materiale da imballo non più necessario va
smaltito in conformità alle normative vigenti
localmente.
INDICAZIONE:
Se si rilevano danni da trasporto rivolgersi
immediatamente al rivenditore.
2.2 Montaggio
AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di lesioni! Montare l'apparecchio
soltanto con la spina staccata dalla presa
elettrica. Altrimenti l'apparecchio può
avviarsi e risucchiare parti del corpo, capelli
o capi di vestiario.
1. Inserire l'estremità del flessibile di aspira-
zione nel foro di ricezione (Fig. 2) dell'aspirapolvere, rispettando la posizione corretta,
finché il bloccaggio scatta con un rumore
percettibile.

4. Regolare la lunghezza del tubo telescopico
premendo verso il basso l'apposito dispositivo di arresto (Fig. 4/1). Quindi estrarre il
tubo alla lunghezza desiderata. Per effettuare il bloccaggio durante l'estrazione rilasciare l'arresto. Si sentirà un clic percettibile.

2.3 Utilizzo di altre bocchette

Per la pulizia a fondo di tappeti e moquette mediante la testa a spazzola rotante.
INDICAZIONE:
Quando si usa la spazzola turbo, a causa
dell'alto numero di giri, il rumore prodotto è
molto forte.
- Spazzola per parquet (Fig. 6/2)
Per aspirare superfici particolarmente delicate (ad es. parquet, laminato) con le
setole lunghe e morbide.
ATTENZIONE:
Se l'aspirapolvere è usato senza bocchetta
applicata, il rischio di aspirare involontariamente degli oggetti aumenta di molto.

3.1 Aspirazione della polvere
AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di lesioni! Non usare mai l'apparecchio se difettoso. Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare sempre l'aspirapolvere e il cavo elettrico.
ATTENZIONE:
Utilizzare l'aspirapolvere soltanto se tutti i filtri sono intatti, asciutti e correttamente montati. Assicurarsi che nessuna delle aperture
sia ostruita. Altrimenti l'aspirapolvere può
subire danni.
INDICAZIONE:
L'aspirapolvere è dotato di una protezione
contro i surriscaldamenti che disattiva automaticamente l'apparecchio in caso di surriscaldamento. In questo caso, spegnere
l'apparecchio mediante l'interruttore ON/OFF
(Fig. 10/1) e staccare la spina dalla presa
elettrica. Eliminare la causa del surriscaldamento (ad es. condutture di aspirazione
ostruite o filtri sporchi). Attendere circa
45 minuti. L'apparecchio raffreddato può
quindi essere riacceso.
1. Applicare la bocchetta desiderata,
Zcapitolo 2.2, „Montaggio“ o Zcapitolo 2.3,
„Utilizzo di altre bocchette (accessori)“.
2. Estrarre il cavo elettrico fino alla marcatura
gialla (Fig. 9/1).

AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di scossa elettrica! Se la marchiatura rossa (Fig. 9/2) risulta visibile, riavvolgere il cavo tramite il tasto avvolgicavo
(Fig. 10/2) sino alla marchiatura gialla. Altrimenti il cavo può strapparsi.
3. Inserire la spina in una presa elettrica con
contatto di protezione.
4. Accendere l'aspirapolvere mediante l'inter-
ruttore ON/OFF (Fig. 10/1).

5. Regolare il selettore "tappeti e moquette/
pavimenti duri" (Fig. 11) in base al tipo di rivestimento:

3.2 Regolazione della potenza di
aspirazione
E' possibile adattare la potenza di aspirazione
al tipo di pavimento da aspirare.
1. Per adattare la potenza di aspirazione spo-
stare in maniera continua il regolatore della
potenza di aspirazione (Fig. 12):

INDICAZIONE:
Con il regolatore dell'aria secondario (Fig. 1/
5) è possibile ridurre rapidamente la potenza
di aspirazione se è richiesta una potenza di
aspirazione inferiore o ad es. per liberare
eventuali oggetti risucchiati.
3.3 Spegnimento e avvolgimento
del cavo elettrico
1. Spegnere l'aspirapolvere tramite l'interrut-
tore ON/OFF (Fig. 10/1) e staccare la spina
dalla presa elettrica.
2. Tenere in mano la spina.
AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di lesioni! Quando il cavo elettrico
rientra in maniera incontrollata può avvinghiarsi, facendo inciampare o ribaltando
oggetti. Pertanto tenere in mano la spina e
durante la retrazione accompagnare il cavo
elettrico con la mano.
3. Premere il tasto avvolgicavo (Fig. 10/2) per
far rientrare il cavo elettrico.
3.4 Trasporto e conservazione
Per il trasporto l'aspirapolvere può essere
afferrato per il manico (Fig. 13/1) o per il manico da trasporto (Fig. 13/2).

Per riporre l'apparecchio o durante le pau-
se nel lavoro è possibile inserire il gancio da
parcheggio/riponimento nell'apposito supporto
da parcheggio (Fig. 14). Prima si raccomanda
di far rientrare il tubo telescopico.

AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di lesioni! Durante eventuali pause
nel lavoro spegnere l'apparecchio e osservare le avvertenze del Zcapitolo 3.3, „Spe-
gnimento e avvolgimento del cavo elettrico“.
Per la conservazione è possibile inserire il
gancio da parcheggio/riponimento nel supporto riponitore posto sotto l'aspirapolvere
(Fig. 15). Prima si raccomanda di far rientrare il
tubo telescopico.

ATTENZIONE:
Non riporre mai l'apparecchio direttamente
accanto a fonti di calore (ad es. riscaldamento, forno). Evitare le radiazioni solari
dirette. Il calore può infatti danneggiare
l'apparecchio.
Per conservazioni di lunga durata sostitui-
re il sacchetto del filtro della polvere con uno
nuovo Zpagina 13, „Cambio del sacchetto del
filtro della polvere“.
Conservare sempre l'apparecchio in un luo-
go fresco, asciutto e fuori dalla portata dei
bambini.

4.1 Cambio del sacchetto del filtro
della polvere
Sostituire il sacchetto del filtro della polvere
al più tardi quando l'indicatore elettronico di
cambio sacchetto (Fig. 16) si illumina o il potere aspirante diminuisce.

ATTENZIONE:
Prima di cambiare il sacchetto del filtro della
polvere, spegnere l'apparecchio e rispettare
le avvertenze fornite nel Zcapitolo 3.3, „Spe-
gnimento e avvolgimento del cavo elettrico“.
In questo modo si evita che la polvere
distrugga l'apparecchio.
1. Ripiegare indietro il manico da trasporto
(Fig. 17/1.)
2. Aprire il coperchio del vano sacchetto
sbloccandolo e quindi sollevandolo
(Fig. 17/2.).

3. Sollevare il coperchio del vano sacchetto
finché scatta percettibilmente, restando
aperto da solo.
INDICAZIONE:
Nell'asportare il sacchetto filtro della polvere
procedere con cautela in modo che la polvere non possa fuoriuscire.
4. Liberare il sacchetto filtro della polvere fa-
cendo arretrare la clip di tenuta (Fig. 18/1).
5. Quindi estrarre il sacchetto filtro della pol-
vere tirandolo verso l'alto (Fig. 18/2).

6. Rimuovere i residui di polvere eventual-
mente presenti nel vano sacchetto.
INDICAZIONE:
Il sacchetto filtro della polvere può essere
smaltito tramite i normali rifiuti domestici, a
meno che non comprenda sporco non smaltibile in questo modo.
7. Mettere il nuovo sacchetto filtro della polve-
re nel relativo alloggiamento iniziando dal
basso (Fig. 19/1.).
INDICAZIONE:
La freccia (Ø) sul cartoncino del sacchetto
filtro della polvere indica la direzione di inserimento e deve essere rivolta verso il basso.
8. Quindi premerlo verso l'alto contro la clip di
tenuta (Fig. 19/2.) finché questa blocca il
sacchetto filtro della polvere.

9. Chiudere il coperchio del vano sacchetto.
Scatta in posizione con un rumore percettibile.
INDICAZIONE:
Il coperchio del vano sacchetto può essere
chiuso soltanto se è stato inserito il sacchetto del filtro della polvere.
4.2 Sostituzione dei filtri
L'aspirapolvere è dotato dei seguenti filtri:

Filtro di protezione del motore (Fig. 20/
1). In caso di sacchetto del filtro della polvere
difettoso, impedisce che delle particelle piuttosto grosse danneggino il motore.
Sostituzione: dopo ogni apertura di un nuovo
pacchetto di sacchetti, in quanto in linea di
massima vi è incluso un filtro di protezione del
motore; al massimo, comunque, ogni 6 mesi
Filtro igienico dell'aria uscente (Fig. 20/
2) filtra le particelle finissime presenti nell'aria
soffiata fuori.
Sostituzione: ogni 6 mesi
Dopo qualche tempo i filtri possono sporcarsi,
riducendo la potenza di aspirazione. Pertanto è
estremamente importante rispettare gli intervalli sopra indicati.
Sostituire immediatamente i filtri danneggiati.
ATTENZIONE:
I filtri non sono lavabili. Il filtro dell'aria
uscente non è riutilizzabile.
INDICAZIONE:
Se è presente soltanto dello sporco leggero
può essere sufficiente picchiettare il filtro di
protezione del motore sopra un secchio delle
immondizie. Tuttavia raccomandiamo di
sostituire il filtro di protezione del motore
all'apertura di un nuovo pacchetto di sacchetti del filtro della polvere (Zcapitolo 5.1,
„Elenco degli accessori e ricambi“).

4.3 Sostituzione del filtro igienico
dell'aria uscente
1. Spegnere l'apparecchio Zcapitolo 3.3,
„Spegnimento e avvolgimento del cavo
elettrico“.
2. Sbloccare il coperchio del filtro igienico
dell'aria uscente (Fig. 21/A).
3. Estrarre il filtro igienico dell'aria uscente
(Fig. 21/B).

4. Inserire un nuovo filtro igienico dell'aria
uscente (Zcapitolo 5.1, „Elenco degli ac-
cessori e ricambi“).
5. Applicare il coperchio del filtro dell'aria
uscente iniziando da dietro (Fig. 22/A).
6. Quindi premere saldamente verso il basso
il coperchio del filtro dell'aria uscente
(Fig. 22/B) finché scatta in posizione con
un rumore percettibile.

INDICAZIONE:
Accertarsi che il filtro igienico dell'aria
uscente sia correttamente posizionato e che
il coperchio scatti completamente in posizione in quanto altrimenti l'aria uscente non
è filtrata a sufficienza.
4.4 Sostituzione del filtro di protezione del motore
1. Spegnere l'apparecchio e rimuovere il sac-
chetto del filtro della polvere come illustrato

quello usato sul nuovo filtro da tagliare a
misura. Tracciare i contorni e ritagliare il
nuovo filtro seguendo i contorni di quello
vecchio.
4. Pulire il portafiltro.
5. Mettere il portafiltro unitamente al filtro di
protezione del motore nel relativo alloggiamento cominciando dall'alto (Fig. 25).

e chiudere il coperchio del vano sacchetto.
Il coperchio scatta in posizione in maniera
percettibile.
4.5 Pulizia della custodia
AVVERTIMENTO:
Pericolo di lesioni! Prima di pulire l'apparecchio spegnerlo e staccare la spina dalla
presa elettrica Zcapitolo 3.3, „Spegnimento
e avvolgimento del cavo elettrico“. Altrimenti
l'apparecchio può avviarsi e risucchiare parti

1.3 Re: Appropriate Use
The cylinder vacuum cleaner is intended for
home use only. It may not be used commercially.
Use the cylinder vacuum cleaner only for
cleaning normally soiled floors, rugs and curtains.
Any other use is considered inappropriate and
is prohibited.
It is especially forbidden:
To vacuum-clean:
- Persons, animals, plants, especially hair,
fingers and other parts of the body as well
as pieces of clothing worn on the body.
They could be sucked in and cause injuries.
- Water and other liquids, especially moisture from carpet-cleaning agents. Moisture inside the appliance can lead to
short-circuiting.
- Toner dust (for laser printers, copyingmachines, etc.) There is danger of fire or

1.4 Re: Power supply
The appliance runs on electricity, that
means there is always danger of electric shock.
So please especially observe the following:
- Never touch the plug with wet hands.
- Always pull directly at the plug if you want
to disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Never pull the power cord, it might
break.
- Take care that the power cord is not bent,
pinched, rolled over or gets in contact
with heat sources.
- Only connect the appliance to 3-pole
safety sockets
- Use only extension cords suited to the
power requirements of the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
- Only operate the appliance if your mains
voltage is the same as that indicated on
the appliance's nameplate. Wrong voltage can destroy the appliance.

2 Unpacking and assembling
2.1 Unpacking
1. Unpack the appliance and all its accesso-
ries.
2. Check the contents for completeness and
possible damages. Information regarding
scope of delivery (Fig. 1).
ATTENTION:
Always transport or ship the appliance in its
original packaging to avoid damage. Keep
the packaging for such an event.
Dispose of no longer needed packaging
material according to the applicable regulations of your country.
NOTE:
Immediately contact your dealer if you have
found damage resulting from transportation.
2.2 Assembly
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Only assemble the appliance if it is not connected to the power supply. Otherwise the machine might start up
and parts of your body, hair or pieces of
clothing might be sucked in.
4. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube.
Press down the release latch on the tube
(Fig. 4/1) to do this. Then extend the telescopic tube to the desired length. Let go of
the release catch while pulling until it locks
in place. You will hear a distinct click.

Your cylinder vacuum cleaner is now ready for
use.
2.3 Using further nozzles (accessories)
Besides the floor nozzle you just attached, you
may extend the functions of your cylinder vacuum cleaner with other nozzles.
The supplied accessories include:

1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and pull the
plug from the mains socket.
2. Pull off the attached nozzle.
3. Attach the desired nozzle to the bottom end
of the telescopic tube (Fig. 7/1) or if necessary directly to the handle (Fig. 8/1).

Using the cylinder vacuum cleaner without a
nozzle attached increases the danger of
accidentally sucking in objects.
4. If possible, store nozzles no longer in use
on the accessory bracket (Fig. 1/2).
3. Attach the floor nozzle (Fig. 3/3) to the bot-
tom end of the telescopic tube (Fig. 3/4).
NOTE:
It might be necessary to push a bit harder.

For vacuuming especially delicate surfaces (e.g. parquet, laminate) with long, soft
bristles.

3 Operation
3.1 Vacuum cleaning
WARNING:
Danger of injury! A damaged appliance must
not be used. Check the cylinder vacuum
cleaner and the power cord each time before
using it.
ATTENTION:
Only use the cylinder vacuum cleaner with all
filters intact, in dry condition and correctly
placed. Make sure that the openings of the
vacuum cleaner are not clogged.or
obstructed. Otherwise the vacuum cleaner
might be damaged.
NOTE:
Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a
safety switch to prevent overheating. It automatically cuts off the power supply if the
motor is overheated. In this case switch off
the vacuum cleaner with the on/off switch
(Fig. 10/1) and pull the plug from the mains
socket. Eliminate the cause of overheating
(e.g. clogged suction paths or dirty filters).
Wait for about 45 minutes. After the appliance
has cooled off, you may switch it on again.
1. Attach the desired nozzle Zchapter 2.2,
„Assembly“ or Zchapter 2.3, „Using further
nozzles (accessories)“.
2. Pull out the power cord by the plug up to the
yellow mark (Fig. 9/1).

3.2 Adjusting the suction power
You can adjust the suction power to suit the
type of floor being cleaned.
1. Slide the suction-power control to adjust
the suction power (Fig. 12):

3.4 Transport and storage
To transport the cylinder vacuum cleaner
you can carry it by the carrying-handle
(Fig. 131/) or the transport handle (Fig. 13/2).

To store it or when not working with it you
can hook the parking /storage hook onto the
parking-bracket (Fig. 14). It is recommended to
first retract the telescopic tube.

WARNING:
Danger of injury! Switch off the appliance
when not working with it and observe the
notices under Zchapter 3.3, „Switching off
and retracting power cord“.
WARNING:
Danger of electric shock! If the red marking
(Fig. 9/2) is visible, retract the cord by pressing the retract button (Fig. 10/2) to pull in the
cable up to the yellow mark again. Otherwise
the cord might break.
3. Insert the mains plug into a socket with
ground/safety contact.
4. Switch on the cylinder vacuum cleaner with
the on/off switch (Fig. 10/1).

3.3 Switching off and retracting
power cord
1. Switch off the cylinder vacuum cleaner with
the on/off switch (Fig. 10/1) and pull the
plug from the mains socket.
2. Keep the plug in your hand.
WARNING:
Danger of injury! During uncontrolled retraction the power cord can whip around,
become an obstacle or overthrow objects.
Therefore keep the plug in your hand and
guide it during retraction of the power cord.
3. Push the cord retracting button (Fig. 10/2)
to retract the power cord.
For storing you can hook the parking / stor-
age hook into the storage bracket on the bottom of the appliance (Fig. 15). It is recommended to first retract the telescopic tube.

ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat
sources (e.g. stoves or radiators). Avoid
exposing it to direct sunlight. The heat might
damage the appliance.
For prolonged storage replace the dust fil-
ter bag with a new one Zpage 19, „Changing
the dust filter bag“.
Always store the appliance in a cool, dry
place and out of reach of children.

4.1 Changing the dust filter bag
Change the dust filter bag at the latest
when the electronic dust filter bag change indicator (Fig. 16) lights up or the suction power
has decreased.

ATTENTION:
When leaving your working-area, switch off
the appliance and mind the notices at
Zchapter 3.3, „Switching off and retracting
power cord“. In this way you avoid dust
destroying the appliance.
1. Fold back the carrying handle (Fig. 17/1.)
2. Open the dust compartment cover by un-
latching and then lifting it (Fig. 17/2.).

3. Lift the dust compartment cover until it locks
in the highest position and remains open by
itself.
NOTE:
Be careful when removing the dust filter bag
so that no dust escapes.
4. Release the dust filter bag by pulling back
the holding-clip (Fig. 18/1).
5. Then pull the bag up and out (Fig. 18/2).

6. Remove any dust that may have collected
in the dust compartment.
NOTE:
You can dispose of the dust filter bag with
your regular domestic trash if it contains no
prohibited waste materials.
7. Insert the new dust filter bag into the bottom
side of the holder first (Fig. 19/1).
NOTE:
The arrow (Ø) on the cardboard shield of the
dust filter bag shows the insertion direction
and must point down.
8. Then press it upwards against the holding-
clip (Fig. 19/2.) until this locks the bag into
its position.

9. Close the dust compartment cover. It clicks
shut audibly.
NOTE:
The dust compartment cover can only be
closed with a dust filter bag in place.
4.2 Changing filters
Your cylinder vacuum cleaner is equipped with
the following filters:

Motor protection filter (Fig. 20/1) pre-
vents larger particles from destroying the motor
in case the dust filter bag is defective.
Changing: Every time you open a new box of
dust filter bags, as these always contain a new
motor protection filter, but at least every 6
months.
Hygienic exhaust filter (Fig. 20/2) re-
moves microscopic particles from the exhaust
air stream.
Changing: every 6 months
The filters can become clogged with time and
reduce the appliance's performance. That's
why it is important to adhere to the above
changing intervals.
Damaged filters must be replaced immedi-
ately.
ATTENTION:
These filters are not washable. The hygienic
exhaust filter may not be re-used.
NOTE:
If the motor protection filter is only slightly
dirty, it can help to beat out the dust over a
dustbin. However, we recommend to change
the motor protection filter each time you
open a new box of dust filter bags (Zchapter
5.1, „Accessories and Spare Parts“).

4.3 Changing the hygienic exhaust
filter
1. Switch off the appliance Zchapter 3.3,
„Switching off and retracting power cord“.

2. Unlatch the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 21/A).
3. Remove the hygienic exhaust filter (Fig. 21/
B).
4. Insert a new hygienic exhaust filter.
(Zchapter 5.1, „Accessories and Spare
Parts“).
5. Attach the exhaust filter cover at the back-
side first (Fig. 22/A).
6. Then press the exhaust filter cover firmly
down (Fig. 22/B) until you feel and hear it
snap into place.

4.4 Changing the motor protection
filter
1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove
the dust filter bag as described in Zchapter
4.1, „Changing the dust filter bag“, steps 1
to 4.
2. Remove the filter holder with the motor pro-
tection filter (Fig. 23).

3. Remove the motor protection filter from the
filter holder over a dustbin (Fig. 24/A).

4. Clean the filter holder.
5. Insert the filter holder complete with filter in-
to its bracket from above (Fig. 25).

6. Replace the dust filter bag and close the
dust compartment cover. The cover snaps
into place audibly.
4.5 Cleaning the housing
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains before
cleaning it Zchapter 3.3, „Switching off and
retracting power cord“. Otherwise the
machine might start up and parts of your
body, hair or pieces of clothing might be
sucked in.
NOTE:
Make sure that that the hygienic exhaust filter is always properly in its position, otherwise the exhaust air will not be sufficiently filtered.
If the motor protection filter is slightly dirty:
- Beat the dust out of the motor protection
filter over a dustbin (Fig. 24/B).
If the motor protection filter is very dirty:
- Replace the used motor protection filter
by a new one. If the new motor protection
filter is too large, lay the the old filter onto
the new filter mat to be cut. Mark the contours and cut the new filter down to size
with a pair of scissors.
ATTENTION:
Do not use cleaning or scouring agents or
alcohol, as these might damage the appliance's housing.
Clean the outside of the housing using a
slightly damp cloth only.

6 Warranty
6.1 Conditions of warranty
We grant a warranty of 24 months from the
date of purchase for the distributed appliance.
Within this period we will either repair or replace the appliance or accessory (damages to
accessories do not automatically cause a replacement of the complete appliance) all defects due to manufacturing or materials at no
cost. Damages due to inappropriate use (operation on wrong voltage or type of current, connecting to unsuitable power supplies, breakage, etc.) are exempt from warranty, as are
normal wear and minor defects that only negligibly influence the appliance's value or serviceability. Intrusions by unauthorised parties and
the use of spare parts not supplied by Royal
Appliance invalidate the warranty. Consumable parts are not included in the warranty and
must be paid for! The warranty is only valid if
the date of purchase has been acknowledged
by the dealer's stamp and signature on the warranty card or if a copy of the invoice is included

1.4 zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung
Der Bodenstaubsauger darf nur im Haus-
halt eingesetzt werden. Er ist für eine gewerbliche Nutzung nicht geeignet.
Verwenden Sie den Bodenstaubsauger aus-
schließlich für das Reinigen von normal verschmutzten Böden, Teppichen und Gardinen.
Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und ist untersagt.
Verboten ist insbesondere:
Das Saugen von:
- Menschen, Tieren, Pflanzen, insbesondere Haaren, Fingern und anderen Körperteilen sowie am Körper befindlichen Kleidungsstücken. Sie könnten eingezogen
werden und Verletzungen hervorrufen.
Verboten ist zudem das Saugen von:
- Wasser und anderen Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere feuchten Teppich-Reinigungsmitteln. Feuchtigkeit im Inneren
kann zum Kurzschluss führen.
- Tonerstaub (für Laserdrucker, Kopierer
etc.). Es besteht Brand- und Explosionsgefahr.
- glühender Asche, brennenden Zigaretten
oder Streichhölzern. Es kann zum Brand
kommen.
- spitzen Gegenständen, wie Glassplittern,
Nägeln etc. Diese Gegenstände zerstören die Filter.
- Gips, Zement, feinstem Bohrstaub,
Schminke etc. Dadurch kann das Gerät
beschädigt werden.
Die Verwendung in der Nähe von explo-
siven oder leicht entzündlichen Stoffen. Es besteht Brand- oder Explosionsgefahr.
Die Verwendung im Freien. Es besteht die
Gefahr, dass Regen und Schmutz das Gerät
zerstören.
Das Hineinstecken von Gegenständen in
die Öffnungen des Gerätes. Es könnte überhitzen.
1.5 zur Stromversorgung
Das Gerät wird mit elektrischem Strom be-
trieben, dabei besteht grundsätzlich die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlags. Achten Sie daher
besonders auf Folgendes:
- Fassen Sie den Stecker nie mit nassen
Händen an.
- Wenn Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose herausziehen wollen, ziehen Sie immer direkt am Stecker. Ziehen Sie niemals am Stromkabel, es könnte reißen.
- Achten Sie darauf, dass das Stromkabel
nicht geknickt, eingeklemmt, überfahren
wird oder mit Hitzequellen in Berührung
kommt.
- Schließen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich
an Steckdosen mit Schutzkontakt an.
- Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel,
die für die Leistungsaufnahme des Gerätes ausgelegt sind.
- Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten und halten
Sie es von Regen und Nässe fern.
- Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die
auf dem Typenschild angegebene elektrische Spannung mit der Spannung Ihrer
Steckdose übereinstimmt. Falsche Spannung kann das Gerät zerstören.
1.6 bei defektem Gerät
Betreiben Sie niemals ein defektes Gerät
oder ein Gerät mit einem defekten Stromkabel.
Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller

2.1 Auspacken
1. Packen Sie das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile
aus.
2. Überprüfen Sie den Inhalt auf Vollständig-
keit und Unversehrtheit (Abb. 1).
ACHTUNG:
Transportieren/versenden Sie das Gerät
grundsätzlich in der Originalverpackung,
damit es keinen Schaden nimmt. Heben Sie
dazu die Verpackung auf. Entsorgen Sie
nicht mehr benötigtes Verpackungsmaterial
gemäß den in Ihrem Land geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS:
Sollten Sie einen Transportschaden bemerken, wenden Sie sich umgehend an Ihren
Händler.
2.2 Montieren
WARNUNG:
Verletzungsgefahr! Montieren Sie das Gerät
nur, wenn der Stecker aus der Steckdose
gezogen ist. Anderenfalls kann das Gerät
anlaufen und Körperteile, Haare oder Kleidungsstücke können eingezogen werden.
4. Stellen Sie die Länge des Teleskoprohrs
ein. Drücken Sie dazu die Teleskoprohr-Arretierung (Abb. 4/1) nach unten. Ziehen Sie
dann das Teleskoprohr auf die gewünschte
Länge. Zum Verriegeln lassen Sie die Teleskoprohr-Arretierung beim Ziehen los.
Sie hören ein deutliches Klicken.

2.3 Weitere Düsen (Zubehör) verwenden
Neben der soeben montierten Bodendüse können Sie den Funktionsumfang Ihres Bodenstaubsaugers mit weiteren Düsen wie folgt erweitern:

wenn der Stecker aus der Steckdose gezogen ist. Anderenfalls kann das Gerät anlaufen und Körperteile, Haare oder Kleidungsstücke können eingezogen werden.
ACHTUNG:
Setzen Sie nur unbeschädigte Düsen ein.
Beschädigte Düsen können Gegenstände
und Oberflächen zerkratzen oder beschädigen.
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie
den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Ziehen Sie die vorhandene Düse ab.
3. Stecken Sie die gewünschte Düse auf das
untere Ende des Teleskoprohrs (Abb. 7/1)
oder bei Bedarf direkt auf den Handgriff
(Abb. 8/1).

3.1 Staubsaugen
WARNUNG:
Verletzungsgefahr! Ein beschädigtes Gerät
darf nicht verwendet werden. Prüfen Sie den
Bodenstaubsauger und das Stromkabel vor
jeder Benutzung.
ACHTUNG:
Verwenden Sie den Bodenstaubsauger nur,
wenn alle Filter intakt, trocken und korrekt
eingesetzt sind. Stellen Sie sicher, dass
keine Öffnungen verstopft sind. Anderenfalls
kann der Staubsauger beschädigt werden.
HINWEIS:
Ihr Bodenstaubsauger besitzt einen Überhitzungsschutz. Er schaltet sich bei Überhitzung automatisch ab. Ist dies der Fall, schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Aus-Schalter
(Abb. 10/1) aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker
aus der Steckdose. Beseitigen Sie die Ursache der Überhitzung (z. B. verstopfte Saugwege oder verschmutzte Filter). Warten Sie
ca. 45 Minuten. Das abgekühlte Gerät können Sie wieder einschalten.

2. Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel bis zur gelben

die rote Markierung (Abb. 9/2) sichtbar ist,
ziehen Sie das Kabel mithilfe der Kabelaufrolltaste (Abb. 10/2) wieder bis zur gelben
Markierung ein. Anderenfalls kann das Kabel
abreißen.
3. Stecken Sie den Stecker an eine Steckdo-
se mit Schutzkontakt an.
4. Schalten Sie den Bodenstaubsauger am
Ein-/Aus-Schalter (Abb. 10/1) ein.

3.3 Ausschalten und Stromkabel

1. Schalten Sie den Bodenstaubsauger am
Ein-/Aus-Schalter (Abb. 10/1) aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Behalten Sie den Stecker in der Hand.
WARNUNG:
Verletzungsgefahr! Beim unkontrollierten Einziehen des Stromkabels kann dieses umherschlingern, zur Stolperfalle werden oder
Gegenstände umreißen. Behalten Sie daher
den Stecker in der Hand und führen Sie ihn
beim Einziehen des Stromkabels mit.
3. Drücken Sie die Kabelaufrolltaste (Abb. 10/
2), um das Stromkabel einzuziehen.
3.4 Transportieren und Aufbewahren
Zum Transport können Sie den Bodens-
taubsauger entweder am Tragegriff (Abb. 13/
1) oder am Transportgriff tragen (Abb. 13/2).

Zum Abstellen oder bei Arbeitspausen
können Sie den Park-/Verstauhaken in die
Parkhalterung einhängen (Abb. 14). Es empfiehlt sich, vorher das Teleskoprohr einzufahren.

WARNUNG:
Verletzungsgefahr! Schalten Sie das Gerät
in Arbeitspausen aus und beachten Sie die
Hinweise unter ZKapitel 3.3, „Ausschalten
und Stromkabel aufrollen“.
Zum Aufbewahren können Sie den Park-/
Verstauhaken in die Verstauhalterung unten
am Bodenstaubsauger einhängen (Abb. 15).
Es empfiehlt sich, vorher das Teleskoprohr einzufahren.

ACHTUNG:
Stellen Sie das Gerät nie direkt neben Wärmequellen ab (z. B. Heizung, Ofen). Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Die
Hitze kann das Gerät beschädigen.
Zum Lagern über einen längeren Zeitraum
ersetzen Sie den Staubfilterbeutel durch einen
neuen ZSeite 25, „Staubfilterbeutel
wechseln“.
Lagern Sie das Gerät stets kühl, trocken
und für Kinder unzugänglich.

4.1 Staubfilterbeutel wechseln
Wechseln Sie den Staubfilterbeutel spä-
testens dann, wenn die elektronische Staubfilterbeutelwechsel-Anzeige (Abb. 16) leuchtet
oder die Saugwirkung nachlässt.

ACHTUNG:
Bevor Sie den Staubfilterbeutel wechseln,
schalten Sie das Gerät aus und beachten
Sie die Hinweise unter ZKapitel 3.3,
„Ausschalten und Stromkabel aufrollen“. So
vermeiden Sie, dass Staub das Gerät zerstört.
1. Klappen Sie den Tragegriff nach hinten
(Abb. 17/1.)
2. Öffnen Sie den Staubraumdeckel, indem
Sie ihn entriegeln und anschließend aufklappen (Abb. 17/2.).

auf, bis er spürbar einrastet und von selbst
geöffnet bleibt.
HINWEIS:
Gehen Sie beim Entnehmen des Staubfilterbeutels vorsichtig vor, damit kein Staub aus
dem Staubfilterbeutel austreten kann.
4. Geben Sie den Staubfilterbeutel durch Zu-
rückziehen des Halteclips frei (Abb. 18/1).
5. Ziehen Sie dann den Staubfilterbeutel nach
oben heraus (Abb. 18/2).

6. Entfernen Sie Staubrückstände, die sich
eventuell im Staubraum befinden.
HINWEIS:
Den Staubfilterbeutel können Sie im normalen Hausmüll entsorgen, wenn er keinen für
den Hausmüll verbotenen Schmutz enthält.
7. Setzen Sie den neuen Staubfilterbeutel zu-
erst unten in seine Aufnahme (Abb. 19/1.).
HINWEIS:
Der Pfeil (Ø) auf dem Pappschild des Staubfilterbeutels gibt dabei die Einlegerichtung
vor und muss nach unten zeigen.
8. Drücken Sie ihn dann oben gegen den
Halteclip (Abb. 19/2.), bis dieser den
Staubfilterbeutel verriegelt.

9. Schließen Sie den Staubraumdeckel. Er
rastet hörbar ein.
HINWEIS:
Der Staubraumdeckel lässt sich nur schließen, wenn ein Staubfilterbeutel eingesetzt
ist.
4.2 Filterwechsel
Ihr Bodenstaubsauger besitzt die folgenden
Filter:

Motorschutzfilter (Abb. 20/1) verhindert
bei defektem Staubfilterbeutel, dass größere
Partikel den Motor zerstören.
Austauschen: nach jedem Öffnen eines neuen
Staubfilterbeutelpaketes, da grundsätzlich ein
neuer Motorschutzfilter darin enthalten ist; spätestens aber alle 6 Monate
Hygiene-Ausblasfilter (Abb. 20/2) filtert
feinste Partikel aus der ausgeblasenen Luft.
Austauschen: alle 6 Monate
Die Filter können nach einiger Zeit verschmutzen und so die Saugleistung reduzieren. Deshalb ist es wichtig, dass Sie die oben angegebenen Zeitabstände einhalten.
Ersetzen Sie beschädigte Filter hingegen umgehend.
ACHTUNG:
Die Filter sind nicht waschbar. Der HygieneAusblasfilter ist nicht wiederverwendbar.
HINWEIS:
Bei leichten Verschmutzungen kann es auch
ausreichen, den Motorschutzfilter über
einem Mülleimer auszuklopfen. Wir empfehlen jedoch, den Motorschutzfilter nach jedem
Öffnen eines neuen Staubfilterbeutelpaketes
(ZKapitel 5.1, „Zubehör- und Ersatzteilliste“)
zu wechseln.

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus ZKapitel 3.3,
„Ausschalten und Stromkabel aufrollen“.
2. Entriegeln Sie die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung
(Abb. 21/A).
3. Entnehmen Sie den Hygiene-Ausblasfilter
(Abb. 21/B).

4. Setzen Sie einen neuen Hygiene-Ausblas-
filter (ZKapitel 5.1, „Zubehör- und
Ersatzteilliste“) ein.
5. Setzen Sie die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung zu-
erst hinten an (Abb. 22/A).
6. Drücken Sie die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung
dann fest nach unten (Abb. 22/B), bis sie
deutlich hör- und spürbar einrastet.

4.4 Motorschutzfilter wechseln
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und entneh-
men Sie den Staubfilterbeutel, wie unter
ZKapitel 4.1, „Staubfilterbeutel wechseln“,
Schritte 1 – 4 beschrieben.
2. Entnehmen Sie den Filterhalter samt Mo-
torschutzfilter (Abb. 23).

3. Trennen Sie den Motorschutzfilter vom Fil-
terhalter über einem Mülleimer (Abb. 24/A).

4. Reinigen Sie den Filterhalter.
5. Setzen Sie den Filterhalter samt Motor-
schutzfilter von oben in seine Aufnahme
(Abb. 25).

6. Setzen Sie einen Staubfilterbeutel ein und
schließen Sie den Staubraumdeckel. Der
Deckel rastet hörbar ein.
4.5 Gehäuse reinigen
WARNUNG:
Verletzungsgefahr! Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, schalten Sie es aus und ziehen Sie
den Stecker ZKapitel 3.3, „Ausschalten und
Stromkabel aufrollen“. Anderenfalls kann
das Gerät anlaufen und Körperteile, Haare
oder Kleidungsstücke können eingezogen
werden.
HINWEIS:
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Hygiene-Ausblasfilter stets korrekt sitzt und die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung stets vollständig eingerastet
ist, da die Ausblasluft anderenfalls unzureichend gefiltert wird.
Bei leichter Verschmutzung des Motor-
schutzfilters:
- Klopfen Sie den Motorschutzfilter über
einem Mülleimer aus (Abb. 24/B).
Bei starker Verschmutzung des Motor-
schutzfilters:
- Ersetzen Sie den verbrauchten Motorschutzfilter durch einen neuen. Falls der
neue Motorschutzfilter zu groß ist, legen
Sie den gebrauchten Motorschutzfilter
auf den neuen Zuschnitt-Motorschutzfilter auf. Zeichnen Sie die Umrisse an und
schneiden Sie den Motorschutzfilter passend aus.
ACHTUNG:
Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel,
Scheuermittel oder Alkohol, da diese das
Gehäuse beschädigen können.
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich
mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.

5 Problembehebung
Bevor Sie Ihren zuständigen Royal-Vertragshändler, Royal-Servicepartner oder Ihren Fachmarkt kontaktieren, überprüfen Sie anhand der folgenden Tabelle, ob Sie das Problem selbst beseitigen können.

5.4 Entsorgung
Die verwendeten Filter sind aus umweltverträglichen Materialien hergestellt und können im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Wenn das Gebrauch-
sende erreicht ist, insbesondere,
wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten, machen
Sie das ausgediente Gerät unbrauchbar, indem
Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und
das Stromkabel durchtrennen. Entsorgen Sie
das Gerät entsprechend den in Ihrem Land geltenden Umweltvorschriften. Elektrische Abfälle
dürfen nicht zusammen mit Haushaltsabfällen
entsorgt werden. Wenden Sie sich für Ratschläge bezüglich des Recyclings an Ihre Kommunalbehörde oder Ihren Händler.
6 Garantie
6.1 Garantiebedingungen
Wir übernehmen für das von uns vertriebene
Gerät eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach unserer Wahl durch Reparatur
oder Austausch des Gerätes oder des Zubehörs (Schäden an Zubehörteilen führen nicht
automatisch zum Umtausch des kompletten
Gerätes) unentgeltlich alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen.
Von der Garantie sind Schäden ausgenommen, die auf unsachgemäßen Gebrauch (Betrieb mit falscher Stromart/-spannung, Anschluss an ungeeignete Stromquellen, Bruch
etc.) zurückzuführen sind, normaler Verschleiß
und Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen.
Bei Eingriffen durch eine nicht von uns autorisierte Stelle oder bei Verwendung anderer als
original Royal Appliance-Ersatzteile erlischt die
Garantie. Verschleißteile fallen nicht unter die
Garantie und sind deshalb kostenpflichtig! Die
Garantie tritt nur in Kraft, wenn das Kaufdatum
durch Stempel und Unterschrift des Händlers
auf der Garantiekarte bestätigt ist oder eine
Rechnungskopie dem eingeschickten Gerät beiliegt. Garantieleistungen bewirken weder eine
Verlängerung der Garantiezeit, noch beginnt dadurch ein Anspruch auf eine neue Garantie!
6.2 Im Garantiefall
Versenden Sie das Gerät mit leerem Staubfilterbeutel und einer kurzen Fehlerbeschreibung
in Blockschrift. Versehen Sie das Anschreiben
mit dem Vermerk „Zur Garantie“. Senden Sie
es zusammen mit der Garantiekarte oder einer
Rechnungskopie an die Adresse auf
