Intended Use
This Bluetooth keyboard is an Information Technology device: It can be used with the Apple iPad climates. This product has not been designed for corporate or commercial applications. Use the product in domestic environments for private applicat ions only. Any use other than that mentioned above does not correspond to the intended use. This device fulfils all that relates to CE Conformity, relevant norms a nd standards. Any modifications to the device other than recommended changes by the manufacturer may result in these standards no longer being met. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or interference caused by unauthorized modifications. Onl y use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
If you are not using the device within the Republic of Germany, you must observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.

Repair and Maintenance
Repairs are required when this device has been damaged in any way, for example when liquid has entered the product, when the product has been exposed to rai n or moisture, when the product does not work normally or if the product has been dropped. If smoke, unusual noises or smells are noticed, switch off the device immediately. In these cases the device should no longer be used and should be inspected by authorized service personnel. Please contact qualified pers onnel when repair is needed. Never open the housing of the device, or the accessor ies. Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning. Never use any corrosive liquids.

Setting up protective case with built-in bluetooth keyboard
To ensure that the protective case with built-in bluetooth keyboard SBiT 82 A1 stands securely, always use the stand (32) with the stabiliser (31).
To set up the case, lower the stabiliser (31) to position (a).
Before closing the stand (32), raise the stabiliser to position (b).

Using the keyboard
The keyboard is connected to the iPad® via Bluetooth. Connect it as follows:

On your iPad On your Bluetooth keyboard, press the Power button (8) to switch the
keyboard on. The Switch on / connection LED (6) lights up briefly.
To connect the iPad

You can disable the connection between the iPad® and the Bluetooth keyboard with the Power button (8) and you can also re-enable it with this button.
Charging the battery
Use the USB cable supplied to charge the keyboard battery. To do so, connect the Bluetooth keyboard to the iPad

charger and plug it into the socket.

Notes: To use the numbers on the number pad (blue numbers/icons), hold down the "fn" key and press the appropriate key. Example: For the number 1, press the "fn" key and the "J" key at the same time.
For @ and €, press the "alt" key and "L" or "E" at the same time.
Troubleshooting
Please check the following if the Bluetooth keyboard is not working:
Check that the keyboard is switched on. Charge the b attery. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad Check on your iPad® under Settings | General | Bluetooth to see whether a
connection has been established to the Bluetooth keyboard.
If a connection has not been made, press the Bluetooth activation /
connection button (7) so that you can establish a connection (the Switch
on / connection LED (6) flashes).
While the Switch on / connection LED (6) is flashing, on the iPad®, go to
Settings | General | Bluetooth and select th e Bluetooth keyboard from t he list
of devices in order to establish a connection.
Check the following to determine whether the keyboard is switched off:

If you have switched off the Bluetooth keyboard and there is no longer a
response to keystrokes, the keyboard is off.
