IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Always check the appliance before you use it. Do not use the appliance if it
is damaged, as this may cause injury.
• The adaptor contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adaptor to replace it
with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the local
mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
• Only use the adapter supplied to charge the appliance.
• Always replace a damaged adaptor with one of the original type.
• Keep the appliance and the adapter dry.
• This appliance should never be lef t unattended when plugged into a power outlet,
except when charging.
• Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
• This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.
The blades are washable under a running tap.
• Please note the main body of the trimmer is not washable and should be kept away
from water.

GETTING STARTED
CHARGING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Before using your trimmer for the rst time, charge for 14-16 hours.
• Ensure the product is switched o.
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
• The charging indicator will illuminate.

• Your trimmer cannot be overcharged. However, if the product is not going to be
used for an extended period of time (2-3 months), unplug it from the mains and
store.
• To preserve the life of your bat teries, let them run out every 6 months then recharge
for 14-16 hours.
• On a full charge the trimmer will run in cordless mode for up to 40 minutes.
• Allow 14-16 hours for a full charge.
• NOTE: this product is rechargeable only and cannot be used in corded mode.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Always comb your beard or moustache with a ne comb before you start trimming.
• Adjusting the trim length.
• The trimmer can be adjusted to give you 9 dierent trim lengths.

• Note: Use the beard trimmer without the adjustable comb for trimming hair close to
the skin. This will trim hair to 1mm, holding the blades perpendicular to the skin will
trim hair to 0.4mm.
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE ADJUSTABLE COMB
• Ensure the trimmer is switched o.
• To attach the comb place the comb on the beard trimmer so that the teeth of the
comb sit on top of the teeth of the blades.
• Slide on the comb until it sits securely on the beard trimmer.
• To remove the adjustable comb, ensure the trimmer is switched o.
• Push the back of the comb upwards and lift away from the beard trimmer.
• Note: the on/o switch controls the adjustable comb lock switch to ensure
consistent grooming results. When the trimmer is turned on the comb lock switch is
enabled. When the trimmer is turned o the comb lock switch is disabled. This is
when the comb length is able to be adjusted.
TO THIN AND TAPER THE BEAR D/MOUSTACHE
1. Attach the adjustable comb to the trimmer blade and select the desired length by
sliding the adjustable comb up or down.
2. The setting will appear on the length position indicator on the comb. If you are
trimming for the rst time, start with the maximum trimming length setting.
3. Once you have your desired adjustable comb length turn the trimmer on, this will
secure the length increment on the comb.
4. Place the at top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
5. Slowly slide through the hair. Repeat from dierent directions as necessary.
TRIMMING THE NAPE OF YOUR NECK
Note: you will need a hand mirror for this operation if performing it alone.
1. Remove the adjustable comb.
2. Use your ngers to lift the hair at the base of your head up o the neck. Your index
nger should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to prevent accidental
removal by the beard trimmer.

3. Using your other hand, hold the trimmer to the base of your neck with the cutting
unit facing up and move the trimmer up the length of the neck until it touches your
nger covering the hair roots at the base of your head.
4. Be sure to move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep the
roots at the base of your head out of the way of the trimmer.
TO DEFINE THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE LINE
1. Hold the trimmer with the trimmer blade facing you.
2. Start with the edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer blade
onto your skin.
3. Use motions towards the edge of the beard/moustache line to trim to desired
locations in facial area and away from beard in neck area.
BLADE RELEASE
1. Ensure the trimmer is switched o.
2. Remove the adjustable comb.
3. Remove the blades by pushing your thumb upwards under the blades and move the
blade set away from the trimmer body.
4. To reattach the blades, align the back of the blades with the back housing at the top
of the trimmer and push down until the blade set clicks into place.
TIPS FOR BE ST RESULTS
• Beard, moustache and sideburn hairs should be dry.
• Avoid using lotions before use.
• Comb your hair in the direction that it grows.
USING THE EDGEStyler
The EDGEStylertool is used to guide your trimmer to create a symetrical, dened edge to
your beard.
Neck Line (Fig. A)
Hold the appropriate curved side of the tool underneath your jaw and run your trimmer
along it for a clean edge. Repeat on the other side then even up the remaining V left
under the chin freehand.
Cheek (Fig. B)
Hold the appropriate curved side of the tool against the cheek and run your trimmer
along it for a clean edge. Repeat on the other side of your face.
Sideburn (Fig. C)
Use the straight edge of the tool against the sideburn for perfec t, straight edges.

Moustache (Fig. D)
Use the curved edge of the tool to sculpt the moustache area.
CARING FOR YOUR TRIMMER
• To ensure long lasting performance of the trimmer, clean the blades and unit
regularly.
• Ensure the appliance is switched o and unplugged from the mains.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners on the unit or blades.
• This product has washable blades. Ensure the blades are detached from the trimmer
before washing the blades.
• Wash the blades under a running tap to remove any hair clippings.
• After rinsing under a tap ensure the blades are dr y.
• Do not rinse while the product is connected to the mains.
• Please note the main body of the trimmer is not washable and should be kept away
from water.
• After each use, it is recommended to clean hair from the blades either by rinsing the
blades or using a cleaning brush.
BATTERY REMOVAL
• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the
bat tery.
• Turn the trimmer on and discharge all remaining power.
• Remove the comb attachment.
• Detach the blade car tridge.
• Remove the blade clip using a screwdriver.
• Pry the decorative panel o the top housing to expose the 2 screws located toward
the lower end.
• Unscrew the 2 screws.
• Pry the two halves of the housing apart from one another to expose the internals.
• Unscrew the 4 screws on the circuit board.
• Disconnect the bat tery from the circuit board.
• The battery is to be disposed of safely.
