IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electric appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
KEEP POWER ADAPTOR AWAY FROM WATER. WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE,
ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
t Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into
water. Unplug it immediately.
t Do not use while bathing or in the shower. t Do not place or drop into water or other liquid. t Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or
be pulled into a bath or sink.
t The parts that have to be fixed must be installed so
they cannot fall into water.
t Except when charging, always unplug this appliance
from the electrical outlet immediately after using.
t Unplug this appliance before cleaning it. t This appliance is for household use only. t An appliance should never be left unattended when it’s
plugged in, except when charging a rechargeable appliance.
t Use this appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual.
t Do not use attachments not recommended by
Remington.
t Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. t Do not plug or unplug the product with wet hands. t This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
t Never drop or insert any object into any of the
appliance’s openings.
t Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used, or where oxygen is being administered.
t Charge, use and store the product at a temperature
between 15°C and 35°C.
t Make sure the cord is disconnected from the trimmer
while storing this appliance and cord in a moisture­free area. Do not store it in temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F).
t Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken
cutter unit, as injury may occur. Always make sure blades are aligned properly.
t Always attach plug to appliance and then the adapter
to the outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF, then remove adapter from outlet, then detach power cord from the trimmer for storage.
t Do not use an extension cord or a voltage converter
with this appliance.
t Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. t Do not run the product when charging via USB port on
a computer.
Remington strongly recommends that an approved Safety Switch (residual current device) be installed to protect all bathroom power outlets. Ask an electrical contractor for advice.
