This guide will show you how to fit your Pure ChargePAK to your Pure radio. Before you
start ensure the following is in place:
Ensure your ChargePAK is unpacked and ready to install.
Ensure you have your Pure radio with you and disconnected from the mains power supply.
Installing your ChargePAK – C6L, E1, B1
The ChargePAK plugs in to a socket in the battery compartment of the PURE radio. The
battery plug is made up of a number of pins that will correspond to the socket in the radio.
The pin numbers vary depending on the type of ChargePAK you are using. The example
pictures below show the 4pin C6L ChargePAK connectors.
You'll also notice the battery plug and socket are 'keyed' meaning that the plug can only be
plugged in to the socket one way round. In the example picture above, the key appears on
the bottom of the socket as two gaps. Likewise the plug will have two protrusions that fit
these gaps.
To fit your ChargePAK simply line up the plug with the socket pins, ensure the key side is
correct, and push the plug in until it clicks and locks in to place.
Now push the battery in to the battery compartment and close the compartment door.
