Release Notes

This document lists all Studio One 6 maintenance updates and their included fixes and

improvements.

Version 6.0.1 Release Notes (November 8, 2022):

Improvements and additions:

● Added Studio One Prime and Demo Activation

● Updated remote control mappings for Autofilter

● Removed file size limitation for importing MIDI files

● Copy & Paste channel settings from one to multiple tracks

● When editing notes with part automation on different tracks, automation is merged onto a
single track

● When "Solo through listen bus" is enabled, soloing tracks doesn't isolate channels in the
export stems dialog

Version 6.0.0 Release Notes (September 29, 2022):

UPGRADE CUSTOMERS, PLEASE NOTE: Studio One 6 is installed as a new application and

doesn’t overwrite your previously installed version of Studio One. Both versions can be run on the

same computer, just not simultaneously. Songs, Projects and Shows created in previous versions of

Studio One will open in Studio One 6. However, once you save a Song or Project in version 6, you

won’t be able to open it in an earlier version of Studio One.

Please also make sure that your 3rd party plug-ins are updated to the most recent version.

This initial Studio One 6 release adds the following new features and improvements.

Known Issues

● Non-Latin characters used in Event or Track names may cause display errors when the
song is shared via the new collaboration feature. Make sure to use Latin characters
instead.

● Studio One 6 no longer supports ReWire. Development and support was ended by
Reason Studios in 2020, and while ReWire may still be usable in Studio One 5 and earlier,
we cannot guarantee that it will work as expected since the technology is no longer
updated.
