DESCRIPTION
The CM400 Corner Mount Adapter is designed for use with the LWM41 Legacy® Series Wall Mount when mounting on the corner of a structure is required.
The CM400 is fabricated from aluminum and will support up to 75 lb (33.75 kg).
INSTALLATION
When mounting the CM400 to a wall, make certain that the mounting surface is capable of supporting the full load of the mount, pan/tilt, enclosure, and camera.
1. Drill holes in the mounting surface using the CM400 mount as a template and attach the mount securely with fasteners of a suitable size.
2. Attach and secure the LWM41 Wall Mount to the four 5/16-inch studs provided on the CM400 with the supplied hardware.
NOTE:
Conduit knockouts are supplied on the block-off plate, offering greater flexibility in installation options.
3. Attach the pan/tilt and enclosure to the LWM41 Wall Mount according to the instructions provided with the mount.
Block-Off Plate Installation
Included with the CM400 is a block-off plate. Depending on the particular installation requirements of the CM400 and LWM41 Wall Mount, the supplied block-off plate may be used as follows:
The block-off plate or “gland” plate is designed to be used with the CM400 as a means to close the 2.5-inch diameter hole in the mounting flange of the wall mount. If feedthrough wiring from the mount through the CM400 is not needed, then the block-off plate may be installed between the LWM41 and the CM400. This block-off plate installation will protect the internal cavity of the wall mount. It is recommended that the block-off plate be used in outdoor applications.
