tion emission value specified can also serve as a
preliminary assessment of the exposure.
The vibration level will change according to the application of the electrical tool an in some cases may
exceed the value specified in these instructions. Regularly using the electric tool in such a way may
make it easy to underestimate the vibration.
Note: If you wish to make an accurate assessment
of the vibration loads experienced during a particular
period of working, you should also take into account
the intervening periods of time when the device is
switched off or is running but is not actually in use.
This can result in a much lower vibration load over
the whole of the period of working.
General power tool
safety warnings
Read all safety
warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and / or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for
future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
2. Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.

not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodified plug
and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric
shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or
wet conditions. Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the
cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk
of electric shock.
e)
When operating a power tool outdo
use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp
location is unavoidable, use a residual
current device (RCD) protected supply.
Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety
s
1. Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) D
o not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a power tool. Distractio
can cause you to lose control.
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power
tool while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating
power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
ns
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

n the switch or energising power tools that hav
the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench
before turning the power tool on. A
wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part
of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper foot-
ing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connec-
tion of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected
and properly used. Use of dust collection
can reduce dust-related hazards.

4. Power tool use and care
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for mis-
alignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other con-
e
dition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
5. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only
tical replacement parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

a) Do not force the power tool. Use the
correct power tool for your applica
The correct power tool will do the job better
and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power
source and / or the battery pack from
the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power
tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach
of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.

Safety advice relating specifi-
cally to this multifunction tool
When working, hold the electrical
power tool firmly with both hands and
keep a proper footing and balance. It
is safer to guide the electrical power tool using
both hands.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece held
in a clamp or vice is kept more securely in
place than one held by your hand.
Keep your working area clean. Mixtures
of materials can be particularly dangerous.
Light metal alloy dust may burn or explode.
Do not operate the device if the mains
lead or mains plug is damaged.
Do not touch the mains lead if it be-
comes damaged or cut through while
you are using the device. Pull the plug
out of the mains socket immediately and have
the device repaired by a suitably qualified person or at your service centre. Damaged mains
leads increase the risk of electric shock.
Wear protective gloves when replacing
a tool in the device. Tools heat up with
prolonged use.
Use the electrical power tool only for
dry abrading / sawing / cutting.
Do not operate the device if it is damp
and do not use it in a damp environment. Water entering an electrical device in-
creases the risk of electric shock.
Keep your hands away from the area
of the saw blade. Do not grip the underside
of the workpiece. Contact with the saw blade
may result in injury.
Use a suitable detector to locate con-
cealed services supply cables / pipes
or approach your local public utilities
services providers. Contact with electricity
cables can lead to fire or electric shock.
Damaging a gas pipe can lead to an explosion. Penetration of a water pipe can lead to
property damage or to electric shock.
If you use the device outdoors, always
connect it through a residual current
device (RCD) with a maximum trip current of 30 mA. If using an extension lead, al-
ways use one that is approved for outdoor use.
Any harmful / noxious dusts
generated from sanding represent a risk to the
health of the person operating the device and
to anyone near the work area.
Wear safety glasses and a dust protection mask!
Ensure that there is adequate ventila-
tion when working on plastic, paint,
varnish etc.
Do not soak the materials or the sur-
face you are about to work on with
liquids containing solvents.

of this power tool:
a) Lung damage when appropriate breathing
protection is not worn.
b) Hearing damage when suitable hearing protec-
tion is not used.
c) Damage to health arising from vibration when
using the power tool for extended periods or
when used and maintained improperly.
This power tool generates an
electromagnetic field during use. This field could
possibly actively or passively impact medical implants.
To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injuries we recommend persons with medical implants consult their
physicians and the manufacturer of the medical implant before using this machine.
Advice on use
Principle of operation:
The oscillating drive causes the attached tool to vibrate backwards and forwards up to 21000 times
per minute. This means the tool can produce precise
work in the tightest of spaces.
Sawing / cutting:
Use only undamaged, defect-free saw blades.
Distorted, blunt or otherwise damaged saw
blades could break.
When sawing lightweight building materials,
observe the statutory requirements and the
manufacturer’s recommendations.
Use the device in plunge sawing mode on soft
materials such as wood, gypsum plaster board
etc. only!
Sanding:
Ensure that you use even contact pressure. This
will increase sanding sheet life.

Do not use the tool on materials containing asbestos.
Asbestos is a known carcinogen.
DANGER OF FIRE! There is
the danger of fire when working with electrical
devices that have a dust box or can be connected
to a vacuum cleaner. Under certain conditions the
wood dust in the dust extraction bag (or in the vacuum‘s dust bag) may ignite, e.g. as a result of flying
sparks generated when abrading metals or metal
objects left in wood. This can happen particularly if
the wood dust is mixed with paint residue or other
chemicals and the abraded particles are hot from
prolonged abrasion. Therefore you must empty the
device’s dust collection box and the vacuum cleaner’s dust bag before taking a break or stopping
work and always avoid overheating of the abraded particles and the device.
Wear a dust mask!
Always use vacuum dust extraction.Ensure that your working area is well ventilated.Observe the regulations applicable in your
country for the materials you are working on.

b) Ne rabite stroj u području gdje prijeti
opasnost od eksplozije, gdje se nalaze
zapaljive tekućine, plinovi ili prašine.
Električni alati proizvode iskre, koje mogu zapaliti prašinu ili pare.
c) Za vrijeme uporabe električnog alata,
držite djecu i druge osobe izvan doh
vata istoga. U slučaju nepažnje, možete
izgubiti kontrolu nad strojem.
2. Električna sigurnost
a) Mrežni utikač uređaja mora odgova-
rati utičnici. Utikač se ni na kakav
način ne smije mijenjati. Ne koristite
adapterske utičnice zajedno s zaštitno
uzemljenim uređajima. Neizmijenjeni
utikači i odgovarajuće utičnice smanjuju rizik
električnog udara.
b) Izbjegavajte dodir tijela s uzemljenim
površinama kao što su cijevi, radijatori,
pećnice i hladnjaci. Postoji povećana opa-
snost od električnog udara ukoliko je vaše tijelo
uzemljeno.
c) Uređaj držite podalje od kiše i vlage.
Prodiranje vode u unutrašnjost uređaja povećava opasnost električnog udara.
d) Ne koristite kabel u neke druge svr-
he, npr. za nošenje uređaja, vješanje
uređaja ili za izvlačenje utikača iz utičnice. Kabel držite podalje od topline,
ulja, oštrih rubova i pokretnih dijelova uređaja. Oštećeni ili spetljani kabel ili
utikač povećava rizik električnog udara.
e) Kod rada na otvorenome koristite
samo produžni kabel koji je dozvoljen
za korištenje na otvorenome. Upotreba
produžnog kabla namijenjenog za korištenje
na otvorenome smanjuje rizik električnog udara.
f) Ako je korištenje električnog alata u
vlažnim prostorima neizbježno, rabite
zaštitnu strujnu sklopku. Korištenje zaštit-
ne strujne sklopke, smanjuje rizik strujnog udara.

obim rukama i osigurajte, da čvrsto i
sigurno stojite na tlu. Električni alat se
sigurnije vodi obim rukama.
Osigurajte izradak. Izradak je sigurnije
učvršćen pomoću zatezne naprave ili škripca,
nego u Vašoj ruci.
Održavajte Vaše radno mjesto čisto.
Miješavine materijala su posebno opasne.
Prašina
od lakih metala može gorijeti ili eksplodirati.
Ne rabite uređaj sa oštećenim mrežnim
kabelom ili utikačem.
Ne dodirujte mrežni kabel, ako se ti-
jekom pogona ošteti ili prereže. Smjesta
izvucite utikač i nakon toga, predajte uređaj
isključivo stručnjaku ili nadležnoj servisnoj službi
na popravak. Oštećeni kablovi povećavaju rizik
od strujnog udara.
Za zamjenu alata nosite zaštitne ru-
kavice. Postavni alat zagrijava se tijekom dulje
uporabe.

Zbog
toga, svakako izbjegavajte pregrijavanje brušenog
komada i uređaja i prije radne stanke uvijek ispraznite kutiju za prašinu, odnosno vrećicu za prašinu
u usisavaču.
