OF THE ROASTER OVEN AND/OR CROCK-POT® SLOW COOKER. The extension cord should not

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR
ELECTRIC GRIDDLE with WARMING TRAY
HOW TO:
Using Your Electric Griddle
1 Insert Warming Tray into guides under the front of the griddle.
Insert drip tray into guides under the rear of the griddle.
2 Turn temperature probe dial to the off position and attach
securely to griddle.
3 Condition the non-stick cooking surface with vegetable
shortening, wiping off any excess with a paper towel. Plug
griddle into an electrical outlet.
4 Preheat the griddle by aligning the selected temperature
setting on the temperature control probe knob with the
indicator light. Griddle is preheated when the light on the
knob goes off. The light will cycle during use, indicating the
selected temperature is maintained.
NOTE: Always use wooden or nylon utensils to avoid scratching
the non-stick cooking surface. Never cut food on the griddle.
When cooking is complete, turn temperature control probe dial
to the off position, unplug and allow unit to cool before cleaning.
CAUTION: Grease may be hot!
NOTE: When cooking consecutive batches of bacon or other high
fat foods, it may be necessary to empty the drip tray to avoid
grease overflowing onto the countertop.
CAUTION: Some countertops are sensitive to heat, use care not
to place griddle on surfaces where heat may cause damage.
CAUTION: Griddle surfaces are hot during use. Allow to cool
completely before handling or cleaning.
Warming Tray
Your Warming Tray can be conveniently used to keep cooked
food warm while the griddle is turned on. To use, simply slide
out Warming Tray and place food in tray. When done, slide in
Warming Tray.
NOTE: Do not overfill warming tray. Food should not touch the
bottom of the griddle plate.

CARE & CLEANING
This appliance should be cleaned after every use.
1 Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning.
2 Remove TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE. DO NOT IMMERSE
TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE or GRIDDLE IN LIQUIDS.
3 Wipe with damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
4 Remove DRIP TRAY and discard contents.
5 The GRIDDLE , DRIP TRAY and WARMING TRAY are NOT
dishwasher safe. You may wash them with hot soapy water, rinse
and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE and PROBE
CONNECTION must always be completely dry before use.
Care of your Electric Griddle
• Use only nylon, plastic, or wood utensils with care to avoid
scratching the NON-STICK COOKING SURFACE. Never cut food
on the Griddle.
• Remove stubborn stains with plastic scouring pad and mild
dishwashing liquid.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL.

1 Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if
in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited doing business as Jarden
Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period of one year
from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material
and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or
any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty
period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or
component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made
with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.
Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on
this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof
of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service
centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter,
modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper
voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,
repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service
center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood,
hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by
the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or
condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in
duration to the duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express,
implied, statutory or otherwise.
JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase,
use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special,
consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract,
fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any

Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied

APRENDER ACERCA DE SU PLANCHA
ELÉCTRICA con BANDEJA TÉRMICA
COMO:
Uso De Su Plancha Para Asar
1 Coloque la bandeja térmica en las guías localizadas en el
frente de la plancha. Coloque la bandeja colectora en las
guías localizadas al costado de la plancha.
2 Gire el control de temperatura a la posición de apagado e
insértelo firmemente en la plancha.
3 Recubra la superficie de cocción antiadherente con manteca
vegetal, eliminando el exceso con una toalla de papel.
Enchufe la plancha en un tomacorriente.
4 Precaliente la plancha alineando la temperatura deseada de
la perilla de control de temperatura con la luz indicadora. La
plancha está precalentada cuando se apaga la luz indicadora.
La luz se encenderá y se apagará durante el uso, indicando
que se está manteniendo la temperatura seleccionada.
NO TA: Utilice siempre utensilios de madera o nylon para evitar
rayar la superficie de cocción antiadherente. Nunca corte
comida en la plancha.
NO TA: Al terminar de cocinar, gire el control de temperatura a la
posición de apagado, desenchúfela y permita que se enfríe
antes de limpiarla.
PRECAUCION: ¡La grasa puede estar caliente!
NO TA: Al cocinar tandas consecutivas de tocino u otros
alimentos con mucha grasa, quizás sea necesario vaciar la

Bandeja Térmica
Puede usar cómodamente la bandeja térmica para mantener los
alimentos tibios mientras la plancha está encendida. Para usarla,
basta deslizar la bandeja térmica y colocar los alimentos en la
bandeja. Cuando termine, deslice la bandeja hacia adentro.
NO TA: No llene demasiado la bandeja térmica. Los alimentos
