SUBJECT Measure of USB connection defectiveness 2002.Mar.04
Nature of Defect:
When a camera and PC are connected with USB the recognition (*) of a camera (drive) is not produced.
Also PC sometimes hangs up.
(1) The USB connector of the only keyboard side is an object with the early style of iMAC.
As for the USB connector of the main body, there is no problem.
(2) 4 USB connectors of Compaq PC (Presario35** series) are all the objects.
(*)
(1) When a camera is connected to PC the icon repeatedly comes out and fade away.
(2) It becomes an error when they double-click the icon, although the camera is recognized.
When it connects again the icon repeatedly comes out and fade away.
Countermeasure:
(1) You take off MC-PCA#(VJ191300) according to the repair manual.
(Resistance is attached in the board reverse side.)
(2) R1205: DF118900 filter Taiyo-yu-den BK1608HS241-T
→Change to KR561800 Metal tunic tamadenki CRG16GT270J.
(3) R1206: DF118900 filter Taiyo-yu-den BK1608HS241-T
→Change to KR561800 Metal tunic tamadenki CRG16GT270J.
(4) To the big circle inside a battery cover mark with black dot.
Remarks CRG16GT270J: 27Ω ± 5% 1/16W 1608size
