Il primo nucleo di quella che diventerà
l’Olimpia Splendid di oggi, azienda tutta
italiana che si è imposta nel mondo grazie

nel 1956 a Gualtieri nella provincia di
Reggio Emilia. Nasce come impresa
artigiana ma già negli anni 60 assume
dimensioni industriali e diventa leader
nella produzione di cucine e apparecchi
per il riscaldamento. Negli anni 80 entra
nel settore del condizionamento e si
segnala subito per alcune soluzioni
tecnologiche d’avanguardia. Negli anni 90
è al secondo posto nella vendita di
condizionatori portatili in Italia, collocandosi
nelle prime tre posizioni sul mercato
europeo. Nell'ultimo decennio il fatturato
del Gruppo è più che raddoppiato con un
tasso di crescita superiore al 10% annuo.

Oggi Olimpia Splendid è leader nei settori
climatizzazione, riscaldamento e
deumidificazione, un vero specialista del
clima che produce e distribuisce centinaia
di prodotti diversi. Olimpia Splendid,
oltre alle unità produttive e commerciali
italiane, dispone di un’unità produttiva
e commerciale in Cina e di un’unità
commerciale in Spagna per una rete che
copre 5 continenti. Esporta in 45 paesi
che rappresentano il 35% di tutto il
fatturato. Il suo riconosciuto punto di forza
è la proposta di prodotti dotati di fortissima

Olimpia Splendid of today - a fully Italian

products - was founded in 1956 in Gualtieri
