Faster slide handling

The Leica SL801 accessory works seamlessly with the Leica
SCN400 to process large volumes of slides. Up to 384 slides can
be placed in the Leica SL801 at one time – and scanned automati­cally with one-button operation. For even more time-savings, the
user can load slides into the Leica SL801 at any time. A scanning
run will automatically stop and resume after loading is complete.

More fl exibility

With the Leica SL801 the user has the freedom to scan all slides
in the autoloader in one batch – using one scanning protocol for
all slides – or up to eight different sub-batches. Optionally up to
48 slides can be manually-defi ned and scanned using individual
protocols.

Added convenience of upgradeability

The Leica SL801 can be included with the purchase of a new
Leica SCN400 slide scanner, or the system can be conveniently
upgraded at any time to accommodate a growing workload. Up­grades simply take place at a customer’s facility.
