1 Phenomenon
The internal counter for the colour calibration and the T7 control may be reset to “0“ when the machine enters
the sleep mode.
If the above mentioned counter is reset to “0“, the counter is reset for the colour calibration with the auto colour
registration adjustment at cumulative 250 pages in case of intermittent printing.
Cause
When the machine enters the sleep mode frequently, the colour calibration with the auto colour registration
adjustment is executed less frequently.
2 Maintenance mode U252 [Set destination] has been added.
3 PDF Rotate mode is now supported by using the below mentioned Prescribe command.
* Rotate mode is switchable at PDF le conversion from the scanned image.
PDF Rotate mode 0: rotate by Rotate key (default)
PDF Rotate mode 1: image rotate mode
PDF Rotate mode 2: rotate by CTM rotate

4 To improve the auto colour registration, the auto colour registration will be performed 3 hours or more, after
nishing the last print job.
5 The T7 toner disposal control takes too long until the colour calibration is executed, when turning the machine
ON, under the condition that the Fuser temperature is 50 °C or more.
6 The toner disposal during the drum refresh, has been changed from twice to a single time in order to reduce
the toner disposal during drum refresh. Please note that the drum refresh will still be executed twice, the toner
disposal is not performed during the second drum refresh.
7 The DDNS (Dynamic domain name server) may not be registered in the DHCP (Dynamic Host Conguration
Protocol).
8 The C/M/Y coverage may not be set to “0”, when printing in BW.
10 The second line of the Hebrew message may appear in reverse at the operation panel.
11 The Kereberos authentication from the MFP may fail when the expiration date of the user account approaches.
12 The logo may appear in black, when printing with the Formtastic application.
13 Error code CF248 may appear.
14 The characters may appear partly garbled when printing CAD les.
15 Umlaut characters may be partly skipped when printing PDF data when using Adobe Reader/Acrobat (9.2.0) in
combination with the PCL-XL driver (KX v5.0.1930).
16 The Code 39 barcode may appear as text on the print-out.
17 The leading edge of the image may shift or the image at the center may be skipped, when printing the image on
the back of the duplex print-out.
18 Lines may appear on the print-out, when printing the same 2 les continuously.
19 Print failure may occur when the data includes Prescribe commands.
20 The data at the left edge may be skipped and the character pith may appear broadened when printing PS data.
21 Print failure may occur, when using the KPDL (Auto) driver.

22 The image may be partly skipped when printing PS data.
23 The macro may be disabled after changing the emulation or the resolution at the operation panel.
24 The PS error may appear and the print-out may be terminated when printing data from Unix.
25 The TIF image may appear twice the size on the print-out.
26 Character lines may be skipped on the print-out.
27 The print speed has been improved.
28 White spots may appear around the characters when printing.
29 The characters may appear overlapped when printing with macro commands.
30 The print speed has been improved.
31 The print-out of PDF les may be interrupted and stop, while the the machine appears to be waiting.
32 The command may appear as text on the print-out.
33 When calling macro data, the system may lock while “Processing” is displayed.
34 The print position may shift when printing.
33 The upper part of the image on the second side of the print-out may be skipped, when printing in duplex.
34 The following errors may occur when printing PDF les directly from the machine.
• System error.
• Processing lock-up.
• Error code F030.
35 Error code F000 may appear when printing PS data.
36 Characters may be skipped when printing PCL data.
37 The Big 5 font may not appear on the print-out.
38 Garbled characters may appear on the print-out when the data contains certain types of the PJL (Printer Job
Language).
