Topic

When replacing the DR-590B drive unit, please instruct a service technician to take good care of the following.

Notes on Replacement of the Service Part DR-590B (Check Points)

Conventionally, two pcs. of the SHIM were fitted to DR-590B gear.
This SHIM became unnecessary after the shape of the gear was changed.
Therefore, when replacing the DR-590B, please check the points below.

1. When replacing the DR-590B, please check if the SHIM is attached on the machine side or the DR-590B side.

2. When the SHIM is attached, please remove it from the machine side and/or from the gear on the DR-590B side
before installing the new DR-590B.

(*2 pcs. of the SHIM are applied. Please check carefully, as there is a possibility that both of them are attached only
on the machine side or on the DR-590B side.)

When you can confirm that the SHIMs are not applied, please install the new DR-590B.
