Phenomenon The machine may reach the toner low condition faster than expected.
Cause The toner may be disposed of more than anticipated when the power is turned OFF and
ON again, since the Drum refresh process is executed multiple times when the power is
turned ON. The same operation is executed again when turning the machine OFF. If this
operation is executed without the toner container, the amount of toner in the developer
unit may decrease. (Toner low condition)The frequency of toner disposal during the Drum
refresh process is recorded to the EEPROM when turning the machine ON.
Solution The toner disposal frequency during the Drum refresh process has been changed.
