Increased toner consumption due to T7 control

Phenomenon When at machine start-up low print coverage is detected and the fusing temperature is 50 °C

or more or when the machine recovers from from sleep mode, the T7 toner disposal mode is
executed every 5 pages. In this case, the toner band width for disposal is at the maximum level
until the machine enters sleep mode. Under this condition, too much toner may be

consumed.

Note If bias calibration is executed after a print job of 80 pages, when the machine starts-up or

recovers from sleep mode, the toner band width of the T7 control returns to normal.

Solution Upgrade the Engine rmware to the latest version.
