Phenomenon 1. A full page solid image may appear on the print-out.
2. The image may appear abnormal on the print-out, due to developer leakage.
Cause The Drum unit may not be charged, or a charge leak may occur between the drum and the
developer sleeve.
Previous solution Please check if there is contact failure at the high voltage board and follow the procedure
according to Service Bulletin 2KW-014 for further details)
Current solution 1. The guide rib has been added to make sure that the leading edge of the spring is not
caught by the plastic wall.
2. A tapper has been added inside the guide rib, to correct the position of the sping, in
case the spring is caught by the plastic wall.
3. The shape of the spring lock drum has been changed (The end of the spring has been
removed).
