Attaching the protection sheet

1 Open the top cover, remove the

screw (B) and remove the slide rail
(D) while lifting up the arm (C).

Entire stock rework

according to the procedure mentioned below.

2 Clean the protection sheet and

the top cover surface where the
sheet will be attached with cleaning

alcohol.
Remove the release paper from the

double faced tape surface on top of

the protection sheet (E). Insert the

protection sheet with the bottom of
the sheet between the hinge spring

(F) and the scanner relay wire (G).

3 Insert the double face tape

surface of the protection sheet to
the back of the rib (H) of the top
cover. Reseat and secure the slide

rail (D) with the screw and return
the arm (C) to the home position.
Check if the scanner relay wire (G)

is behind the protection sheet.
