The high-performance 144cc aircooled engine fires up easily and reliably with an electric starter and keyless ignition switch.

Advanced suspension with 33mm telescopic front fork and 5-way spring preload adjustability on the rear shock.

The KLX140L’s special remote reservoir rear shock incorporates stepless spring preload, 4-way compression and 22-way rebound damping adjustability for reduced fade during extended riding sessions with a heavier ride.

A legit bike for young off-roaders, the 2009 KLX140 one-ups the competition on every level. Disc brakes, advanced suspension and a box-section steel perimeter frame provide

excellent handling on rough terrain. The KLX140L incorporates the same advanced features as the KLX140, but we added larger tires, modified the suspension and installed a special remote reservoir rear shock for larger riders.
