A disposer installed at each work station, in addition to the soiled dish table unit, provides the
maximum of convenience and sanitation. Food
waste is ground and ushed through the drain lines
instead of accumulating… eliminates handling and
storage of lled garbage containers.

The Selector Chart is based on disposing of average food waste mix. 1⁄2 lb. food waste/person/meal
should be used as a guide. If the mix will include a
large percentage of bones or other hard materials,
specify a larger model disposer or additional units.

SPECIFICATIONS
DUAL DIRECTIONAL GRINDING: Automatic
reversing of disposer’s direction of rotation when
installed with Control Group 5 or 6. Increases life and
efciency of grinding elements by dispersing the wear
factor. Will reverse unit, freeing it up in case a jamming situation occurs.
CONES: All models FD4/50 through FD4/500 t the
same large 7" throat opening diameter. Cones of
hydroformed stainless steel, 18" bowl diameter is
standard; 15" is optional. Both feature a dual directional water inlet for ushing waste into the disposer.

VINYL ISOLATING RING: Eliminates metal to metal
contact and prevents vibration and noise transmission. Sink and trough mounting accessories are also
available.
ADAPTERS: Are available to install Hobart Disposers
on existing Cones (See Form F7543).
