INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FRONT STABILIZER BAR

TORQUETABLE
BOLT SIZE: 3/8” = 20-30 ft. lbs. – 7/16”=35-45ft. lbs. – ½” = 50-70 ft. lbs. – 9/16”= 70-90 ft. lbs.
SAFETY: BEFORE STARTINGYOURINSTALLATION,BESURE TOSETPARKINGBRAKE AND CHOCK TIRES.
NOTE: TO EASE INSTALLATIONANDTOPROPERLY ADJUST THEBAR, THE WEIGHTOFTHE VEHICLEMUSTBE ON THE SUS-
PENSION, AS IF DRIVINGDOWNTHEROAD. DO NOTRAISE VEHICLE BY THEFRAME.
NOTE: THIS SWAY BAR IS DESIGNEDTOREPLACE THE FACTORY INSTALLEDFRONT SWAYBARUSINGTHEFACTORY
MOUNTINGHARDWARE AND FRAME U-PLATES.

1. Remove the factory mounted front sway bar and mounting hardware. Do not discard the frame u-plate and mount-
ing bolts as they will be reused to install the new front sway bar.
2. Install the D-bushings on the new sway bar in as the same location as the factory sway bar.
3. Assemble the end link assemblies and install to the vehicles lower control arms. SEE PHOTO (2).Tighten just until
the bushings start to bulge slightly. Do not over tighten or damage can result to the end link bushings.
4. Raise the sway bar to the frame and install using the U-plates and mounting bolts removed on step one (1). SEE
PHOTO (3). Leave loose atthis time to allow for adjustment later.
5. Install the end links to the coined ends of the sway bar arms. Tighten just until the bushings start to bulge slightly.
Do not overtighten.
6. Align the sway bar to be centered and properly fastened to the end links. SEE PHOTO (1). Tighten the factory Uplates and mounting hardware to factory specifications. Bounce the vehicle checking for clearance on all under carriage components; wiring, exhaust, springs, brake and fuel lines.
7. Turn wheels full lock left then right check for clearance on tires and wheels.
8. Test drive your vehicleand recheck your installation. After one week of driving recheck your installation recheck on
a monthly regular basis thereafter.
