1.0 DESCRIPTION

Detcon Model PS-86 is an 86 Watt linear power supply packaged in a NEMA 4 fiberglass enclosure. The
power supply accepts 117 VAC input and provides a 24 VDC output at 3.6 amps max.

1.2 INSTALLATION

Installation consists of mounting the enclosure and wiring in 117 VAC power to the lug-type terminal strip
labeled “117 VAC IN”. Next wire the 24 VDC output, labeled “24 VDC OUT”, to the 24 VDC device being
powered.

Reference the wiring diagram and dimensional drawing on the following page.

1.4 WARRANTY

Detcon Inc., as manufacturer, warrants under intended normal use each new Model PS-86 power supply to be
free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. The warranty period begins from the
date of shipment to the original purchaser and ends one year thereafter. All warranties and service policies are
FOB the Detcon Inc. facility located in The Woodlands, Texas.
