be serviced by qualified se rvice personne l when:
a. The power-sup ply cord or plu g has been da maged.
b. Objects have fallen into, o r liquid has been spilled into the appl iance enclosur e.
c. The applian ce has been exp osed to rain.
d. The applian ce has been dr opped, or the enclosure dam aged.
e. The applianc e does not app ear to operate normally.

13. SERVICING - The user sh ould not attemp t to service th e applianc

e beyond tha t described in the user oper ating

instructions. A ll other servi cing should be referred to qualified serv ice personnel.

Notes:

a. Dirty or scr atched CD may cause a skippi ng problem. Clean or replace the CD.
b. If an error display or malfunction oc

curs, disconncet the AC cord and remove all the batteries. Then turn the power

back on.

Since dirty, d amaged or warpe d discs may da mage the app li

ance, care sho uld be taken of the following s items:

a. Usable comp act discs. Use only compact disc with the mark shown bel ow.
b. CD compact disc only with digital audio s ignals.
