IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. The instructions for appliances intended to be used with a connector incorporating thermostat shall state that only the appropriate connector must be used.
2. The instructions shall state that appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
3. During the cleaning heating surfaces may not be immersed into the water.
4. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
5. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
6. Read all Instructions.
7. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
8. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse electrical cord in water or other liquid.
9. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
10. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
11. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
12. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
13. Do not let cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a counter or table.
14. Do not place on or near a hot burner or in a heated oven.
15. Extreme caution must be used when using or moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
16. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
17. Always attach plug to appliance first, and then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the temperature control to “OFF” then remove plug from wall outlet.
18. Only use properly grounded outlet for plugging in.
19. When the pan is in operation, be cautious that a fire may occur if the pan is near or touching flammable material, such as draperies and curtains.
20. When opening the lid cover, hot steam might escape causing burns.
21. When roasting for extended time, make sure the fat from the food does not overflow from the drip tray.
22. An insulated hot pad protection is recommended when using this pan on surfaces where heat may cause damage.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally, the extension cord should be a grounded-type 3-wire cord.

HOW TO USE
Start using the indoor/outdoor pan:
1. For use indoor without the stand, place the pan on a flat and sturdy surface when using it indoor. It is recommended to use an insulated hot pad for protection when using the pan on surfaces that may damage due to the heat.
2. Make sure the temperature control knob is at the “off” position and insert it into the temperature control receptacle. Plug into a 220V~240V AC outlet.
3. When ready to cook, turn the temperature control dial to the desired temperature. The temperature indicator light will turn on, indicating that the pan is being pre heated. When the indicator light is off, the pan has reached the preheated tempera ture and is ready for use. Note: during cooking, the temperature indicator light of the pan will go on and off indicating that the surface temperature is being main tained.
4. Use of wood or heat-proof plastic utensil is recommended to protect the non-stick cooking surface. Never cut food with a knife on the pan surface.
5. When cooking is complete, turn temperature control to the “off” position, and then unplug the power cord from the outlet. Allow the pan to cool thoroughly before cleaning or removing any parts.

CAUTION:
• Never place pan on or near a hot burner or in a heated oven.
• Do not drop or impact the temperature control against hard surfaces, as it may cause damage and affect proper temperature control. Stop using the temperature control if it is damaged or it overheats.
HOW TO CLEAN AFTER USE
1. Disconnect the plug from wall outlet, and then remove the power cord from the appliance.
2. Allow the unit to completely cool.
3. Wash the pan and lid with warm soapy water using a sponge or dishcloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly to remove soap residue.
CAUTION:
• Always unplug the pan first and allow it to cool before starting to clean.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Do not put temperature control or power cord in the dishwasher.
• Never immerse the power cord, plug or temperature selector in any liquid.
• Do not soak the pan in water overnight.
