The appliance is suitable to keep food for domestic use; any other use would be improper.

Installation must be carried out by following the instructions contained in the booklet; a wrong installation could damage the appliance. Should there be any functioning problems please refer to authorized after sales service centres, or however, always and only to specialized technicians.

Before carrying out any maintenance operation detach the electric feeding plug by grasping only the plug. Avoid pulling the feeding cable or the appliance.

Keep the instruction booklet and pass it on to the next possible user of the appliance. In order to keep in line with the most recent legal provisions on the protection of the environment, we use a little quantity of refrigerating substances called R600 or R134 according to the model type. The type of refrigerant material used is indicated on the data tag. In case of damages to the refrigerating circuit such as pipes etc., to appliances fitted with R600a it is recommended to aerate for a few minutes the room where the appliance is situated and do not cause any flames or sparks or any other ignition sources.

The parts that are in contact with food comply with Legislative Decree n° 108 of the 25/ 01/1992 and with EEC directive 89/109.

The EC marking confirms the adherence of this appliance to the European Directives 89/336 (electromagnetic compatibility), 73/23 (low voltage), 96/57 energetic efficiency) and other amendments.

In case this appliance were to replace another to be disposed of with various locking devices, ensure before disposal, that you have rendered the said

devices unusable, thus avoiding the danger that children or animals get locked into it.

Remove the plug from the socket and cut the feeding cable. Refrigerators and freezers contain gas and other substances which must be disposed of in a proper way and, furthermore, contain many items which can be recycled.

Deliver the products to proper disposal centres; your municipality could supply you with all the necessary information regarding the correct ecological disposal thereof.

REVERSIBILITY OF THE DOOR The door normally opens from the right (hinges on the left); should it be more convenient for you to have the door opening from the left you could modify such opening by following the instructions given hereunder.

1.Remove the feeding plug from the socket.

2.Remove the internal fittings.

3.Gently lay the appliance on its back with the door facing upwards.

4.Unscrew the lower hinge (R1), unscrew the pin from the left and screw it again on the right.

5.Slide the door from the upper hinge (R3).

6.Unscrew the upper hinge plate (R4).

7.Screw the upper plate to the right after an 180° rotation (R5).
