The D9069B Fire System Annunciator is a remote
annunciator designed for use in public places in an analog
system controlled by a D8024 or D10024A Fire Alarm
Control Panel (FACP). It annunciates system events only
and provides no system control.
Functions
System Status
The FACP sends system status information to the D9069B
over a four-wire RS-485 circuit. Two of the four wires are
reserved for 24 VDC power, and the remaining two wires
are reserved for RS-485 data. A D9051 RS-485 Bus Module
must be mounted inside the FACP for the D9069B to
communicate.
Seven LEDs report system conditions:
Power Status
•
Trouble Silenced
•
Point Bypassed
•
System Trouble
•
Alarm Silenced
•
Alarm
•
Text Display
An 80-character back-lit liquid crystal display (LCD) repeats
the status, trouble, and alarm messages displayed at the
FACP in English text. Forty of these characters are
programmable to display individual device location: 20 for
the zone and 20 for the device address.
System-wide text displays include:
Alarm
•
Trouble
•
Service
•
Missing point
•
Custom polling circuit and address text
•
In the analog FACP systems, depending on programming,
the D9069B Annunciators can display information for the
entire system, for a specific master panel, or for a group of
sub-panels.
