Safety Instructions

1. Read, follow, and retain instructions - All safety and
operating instructions must be read and followed properly
before putting the unit into operation. Retain instructions
for future reference.

2. Do not ignore warnings - Adhere to all warnings on the
unit and in the operating instructions.

3. Power sources - Operate the unit only from the type of
power source indicated on the label. If unsure of the type
of power supply to use, contact your dealer.

WARNING!
Risk of damage to equipment!

- Always switch off power of the device before modifying the
installation.

- Do not connect or disconnect plug connectors, data cables
or screw connectors while power is on!

WARNING!
Health and Safety!

Installation of the device must comply with any local fire, health
and safety regulations. A secured door that may be part of an
escape route from an area must be installed with:

- A fail-safe lock (A). So that the door will be released if
power fails. Ideally, a magnetic lock should be used.

- A normally-closed break-glass or manual pull (B) in the lock
supply wiring, so that in an emergency the fail-safe lock
can be immediately powered down.

WARNING!
Risk of damage!

Protect the hardware from electrostatic discharge by observing
ESD instructions before unpacking or touching connectors or
electronics.

1. Lesen, beachten und behalten Sie Anweisungen - die

Die Installation muss unter Beachtung der lokalen Feuerschutz-,
Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsrichtlinien erfolgen. Eine
gesicherte Tür, die Teil eines Fluchtweges ist, muss installiert
werden mit ...:

- ... einem störungssicheren Schloss. Die Tür muss bei
Stromausfall freigegeben werden. Idealerweise ist ein
Magnetschloss zu verwenden.

- ... einer manuellen Entriegelung bei standardmäßig
geschlossenen Türen, so dass im Notfall das
störungssichere Schloss sofort stromlos gemacht werden
kann.

Schützen Sie das Gerät vor elektrostatischer Entladung, indem
Sie die ESD-Anweisungen vor dem Auspacken oder Berühren

Instrukcje bezpieczeństwa

1. Przeczytać, przestrzegać i zachować instrukcje – Wszystkie
instrukcje bezpieczeństwa i obsługi należy uważnie
przeczytać przed oddaniem urządzenia do eksploatacji.
Instrukcje powinny zostać zachowane na przyszłość.

2. Uwzględniać ostrzeżenia – Należy stosować się do
wszystkich ostrzeżeń umieszczonych na urządzeniu oraz w
instrukcji obsługi.

3. Zasilanie – Urządzenie może być zasilane tylko ze źródła
napięcia, które wyszczególnia tabliczka znamionowa. W
przypadku braku pewności odnośnie parametrów źródła
zasilania, zaleca się kontakt ze sprzedawcą.

OSTRZEZENIE!
Ryzyko uszkodzenia sprzętu!

- Zawsze przed dokonaniem zmian w instalacji należy
wyłączyć zasilanie urządzenia AMC2.

-Nie wolno podłączać ani odłączać wtyków, kabli
sygnałowych ani złączy śrubowych przy włączonym
zasilaniu!

OSTRZEZENIE!
Bezpieczeństwo i higiena pracy!

Instalacja urządzenia AMC2 musi spełniać wymagania wszelkich
lokalnych przepisów przeciwpożarowych oraz BHP. Drzwi
bezpieczeństwa znajdujące się na drodze ewakuacji z
zagrożonego obszaru muszą być wyposażone w następujące
elementy:

-Zamek bezpieczeństwa (A). Jest to zamek otwierający się
w razie awarii zasilania. Optymalnym rozwiązaniem jest
zastosowanie zamka magnetycznego.

- Normalnie zamknięty wyłącznik uruchamiany przez zbicie
szybki lub ręcznie (B), zamontowany w okablowaniu
zasilania zamka. Umożliwia on natychmiastowe odłączenie
zasilania zamka bezpieczeństwa w sytuacji awaryjnej.

OSTRZEZENIE!
Ryzyko uszkodzenia!

Przed rozpakowaniem urządzenia bądź dotknięciem złączy lub
elementów elektronicznych należy zabezpieczyć urządzenie
przed wyładowaniami elektrostatycznymi, przestrzegając
instrukcji ESD.

Veiligheidsinstructies

- Schakel het AMC2 apparaat altijd uit voordat u
aanpassingen gaat maken.

Installatie van het AMC2 apparaat moet voldoen aan de

Een veiligheidsdeur die onderdeel is van een ontsnappingsroute

- Een fail-safe slot (A). Zodat de deur wordt vrijgegeven bij
stroomuitval. Een magnetisch slot zou perfect zijn.

- Een achter breekglas geplaatste of handmatige
onderbreker in de stroomtoevoer van het slot, zodat het
fail-safe slot in geval van nood onmiddellijk kan worden
uitgezet.

1 Introduction

This instruction manual for authorised service providers
contains instructions on the installation and commissioning of
Bosch proximity reader LECTUS duo 3000.
The information in this instruction manual is, to the best of our
knowledge, valid at the time of publication.
As part of our commitment to customer service we nevertheless
welcome suggestions for improvements.

1.1 Important planning notes for contactless readers

Influences on reading distance

– Metal in the "active" effective HF field.
– Interference with other readers in immediate vicinity

(distance < 30 cm)
– Interference with high-enery sources
– Switch mode power supplies
– Cable quality, shielding, and cross-section dimension

(remaining input voltage at reader, EMC)

2.1.6 Configuring the reader

The reader provides an 8-way DIP switch for configuration.
Dip switch S1 controls the reader interface type:

NOTICE!

The DIP switches 5 to 8 are not applicable to Wiegand readers.
They get their addresses from the reader interface of the
