The VSG1435 enhances multi-room HD experiences by integrating widely deployed HomePNA 3.1

(ITU G.9954) over coaxial cable. Delivering consistent and robust connectivity for home multimedia applications over existing coaxial cable, HPNA simplifies IPTV installation and enables stable video content transmission. Service providers can easily supply high-definition content from the VSG1435 to set-top boxes throughout a customer's home without laying any new wire. This speeds up IPTV service installations while reducing the provider’s CAPEX requirements.

Robust transmissions with no new wiring — HPNA 3.1 is a good solution for in-house IPTV connectivity.

Dual-mode VDSL2/ADSL2+ functionality

Offering dual-mode VDSL2 and ADSL2+ functionality in one gateway, the VSG1435 covers modern and legacy copper networks. Dual-mode VDSL2/ADSL2+ detects the line's DSL configuration and adapts to the provisioned service mode automatically. With this compatibility, service providers can use a VSG1435 whether for short–range, high-speed VDSL, or for longer-range ADSL deployment anywhere within service range. Standardizing on a single gateway significantly saves on OPEX costs incurred when managing many different devices.

Dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port for combo WAN connectivity

ZyXEL's VSG1435 includes a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port for Fiber and Wireless deployments to the home. When a service provider migrates from DSL to PON or 4G, installers can use a single gateway for both legacy and new network types while existing subscribers can keep an already setup VSG1435, simply switching from the DSL WAN port to the Ethernet WAN port and a Fiber or Wireless bridge. All other features work regardless of network type including remote management, QoS, and home network connectivity.

Featuring 802.11n Wi-Fi technology, ZyXEL's VSG1435 provides the ultimate solution for wireless speed and coverage. With data rates up to 300 Mbps, the VSG1435 provides stable and reliable wireless connections for high speed data and multimedia delivery. It eliminates dead zones and extends coverage with IEEE standard 802.11n technology while fully backwards compatible with any IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi certified device.
