The ZyXEL FMG3024-D10A/FMG3025-D10A Gigabit Active Fiber VoIP IAD features 100/1000BASE WAN
ber interface and integrates a four-port 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet switch. It is not just a ber network
edge device, but also a high-performance VoIP IAD for subscribers to bridge the most popular ber
services with optimized bandwidth from telcos/service providers and various applications from the
wired/wireless LAN.
Quality of Service (QoS) for triple-play tracs and bandwidth management
The ZyXEL FMG3024-D10A/FMG3025-D10A is equipped with IP QoS features for service providers to
freely design QoS policies and to prioritize mission-critical services, such as IPTV and VoIP, based on
their individual service plans. This increases network eciency and productivity for service providers to
deliver real multi-play applications to residential users.
TR-069 remote management for easy installation
With the TR-069 management standard, service providers are able to manage and congure client
devices remotely without manual intervention from end-users. This unique feature not only oers users
the true “plug-and-play” experience but also reduces deployment complexity, and therefore saves
operating and maintenance costs for service providers.
Modular design for CATV service (FMG3024-D10A)
The ZyXEL FMG3024-D10A can be tted in FTTH environments as a CPE to provide a variety of services
such as broadband, VoIP and CATV that require high-speed ber networks. In addition to a ber
connector for data transmission, a dedicated ber connector has been built in for video streaming
signals. With this dedicated ber link, users can enjoy CATV services from service provider via the F-type
output interface.
Buckle-up ber tray for easy installation
The ZyXEL FMG3024-D10A/FMG3025-D10A has been designed with a passive ber tray that can
be preinstalled at customer sites along with the ber optical network being constructed. As the
homeowners decide services, such as broadband, VoIP, IPTV or Cable TV, they would like to have at
home, the service provider can deliver those services by sliding a gateway onto the top of ber tray with
a simple click.
