Radio Frequency (RF) E nergy

This model device meets the government’s r equirements f or exposure to radio waves. This device is d esigned and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set b y the Federal Communications Commission o f the U.S. Government: The exposure standard fo r wireless devices employs a unit of measurement known as the S pecific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using stand ard operating p ositions accepted by the FCC wit h the device tran smitting at its highest certified power level i n all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is d etermined at th e highest certified power level, the act ual SAR level of the device whil e operating ca n be well below the maximum value. This is because the device is designed to operate at multiple po wer levels so as to us e only the pose r required to reach the n etwork. In general, the clos er you are to a wirel ess base station antenna, the lower the power output.
The highest SAR value for the m odel device as rep orted to the FCC when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is W/kg (Bo d y-worn m easurements di ffer among device models, depending upon available enhancements and FCC requirements.) While there may be differenc es between the SAR l evels of variou s devices and at v arious positions, they all meet the government requirement. The FCC has gr anted an E quipment Authorization f or this model device with all r eported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR inf ormation on this model device is on file with t he FCC and can be found under the Displ ay Grant section of http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid after searching on FCC ID:.
