UltraLevel 6®uses a one-LED display and an audio tone to indicate level

PREPARATION FOR USE

BATTERY TEST

If the batteries are low, then

HINTS FOR

MAXIMUM ACCURACY

By following the procedure below,

you can accomplish extremely
high accuracy leveling with the
UltraLevel 6.

• Attach the UltraLevel 6 to a

long, straight object. The
straighter the object, the greater
the accuracy. Now you have an
“expanded” level.

• Keeping one end (the fixed
end) of your expanded level
from moving up and down,
lower the other end (the free
end) below the fixed end.
Now, slowly raise the free end
until the LED and tone
indications just begin. Mark
the position of the free end
at this point.

• Continue moving the free end
of your expanded level up
until the LED and tone both
go off. Now mark the position
of the free end at this point.

Note: For 2 ft.-long (610 mm)

object, the two marks will be

/16in. (1.6 mm) apart.

• Finally, move the free end of

your expanded level to a point
one-half way between the two
marks. It will now be leveled
to the maximum accuracy
attainable with UltraLevel 6.

lugar de ver una luz u oír un tono
constante, la luz parpadeará y el
tono se escuchará rápidamente,
aunque el nivel siga siendo preciso.
Cuando esto suceda, debe cambiar
las baterías por otras tres alcalinas
LR44 tipo botón o su equivalente.

CONSEJOS PARA OBTENER

LA MAXIMA PRECISION

Con el siguiente procedimiento

puede obtener nivelaciones de
muy alta precisión con el
UltraLevel 6.

• Conecte el UltraLevel 6 a un

objeto largo y recto. Mientras
más recto sea, mayor precisión
obtendrá. Ahora tiene un nivel
"expandido".

• Evite que el extremo (fijo) de su
nivel expandido se mueva hacia
arriba y hacia abajo y baje el otro
extremo (libre) por debajo del
fijo. Ahora suba lentamente el
extremo libre hasta que
comiencen las indicaciones del
LED y del tono. Cuando esto
suceda, marque la posición del
extremo libre.

• Continúe moviendo el extremo
libre de su nivel expandido hacia
arriba hasta que el LED y el tono
se apaguen. Ahora marque la
posición del extremo libre.

Para un objeto de 610 mm de
