circulation. The mobile Zibro Clima air conditioner is extremely easy to operate and move.

A SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT
The unit is designed for indoor operation. Rating: This unit must be connected to a 230 V / 50 Hz earthed outlet.

The installation must be in accordance with regulations of the country where the unit is used.
If you are in any doubt about the electrical installation, have it checked and if necessary modified by a qualified electrician.
The air conditioner is safe. However, as with other electrical appliances, use it with care.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not clean the air conditioner by spraying it or immersing it in water.
Do not insert any object into the opening of the air conditioner.
Disconnect from the mains before cleaning the unit or any of its components.
Never connect to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet is not available, one should be installed by a licenced electrician.
Any service other than regular cleaning or filter replacement should be performed by an authorized service representative. Failure to do so could result in a loss of warranty.

WARNING
Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug. Do not lead the cord over sharp edges.
A damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

WARNING
Before using the air conditioner it should be left in an upright position for at

least 2 hours.
The air conditioner consists of an indoor mobile unit and an outdoor unit. The units are connected to each other by a 3 metre flexible tube. The outdoor unit can be placed on the floor (of a balcony) or hung on a wall.
The maximum distance from the top of the outdoor unit to the floor is 1.5 m.
To avoid damaging the connection tube, leave the window ajar.
Installation of the outdoor unit
Apply the spacer (16) to the outdoor unit.
Firmly screw the bracket (14) to the wall.
Hang the outdoor unit.
Energy saving tips
Use the unit in the recommended room size (see specifications).
Do not locate the air conditioner where furniture or other objects can obstruct the airflow.
Keep blinds/curtains closed during the sunniest part of the day.
Close the fireplace damper and floor and wall grills so that cool air does not escape through the chimney or ductwork.
Keep the filters clean.
Set the unit to maximum cooling and high-speed fan initially, then adjust the unit to a comfortable setting.

C OPERATING THE AIR CONDITIONER

ON/OFF
Press to switch the unit on or off. The unit selects the mode depending on the room temperature:
- higher than 23°C, cooling mode;
- between 20°C and 23°C, fan mode.
Time switch
Use to set a working time between 1 and 12 hours. The unit switches off when this time has run down.
Mode switch
Select with : automatic, cooling or fan. The corresponding LED will lit: , or .
Fan speed
Select with the fan speed: low, high. LED will show this.
Temperature selection
Set the temperature that must be maintained (in the range from 16°C to 30°C) with switched and . The display will show the setting.
Digital display
When the unit is ON the display shows the room temperature ( is on). Use

room temperature will again be displayed.
‘SLEEP’ setting
This setting can only be used when the cooling function is activated. Press . Every hour the temperature setpoint will raise with 1°C, after 2 hours the temperature remains the same. After 12 hours the air-conditioner will automatically tur mode the temperature set cannot be changed.

The air conditioner can be operated with remote control. Two AAA-batteries are required to use the remote control.

E DRAINAGE
The unit is equipped with an automatic drainage function. The condensed water will be discharged from the hole placed at the back of the indoor unit. You may also connect a water tube (dia. 14.5 mm) to the discharge hole to channel the water away. Make sure the water always drains away freely.

F DISCONNECTING THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR UNIT

If the indoor unit needs to be disconnected from the outdoor unit, to place it in a more suitable position, follow these steps:
Disconnecting
Open the tube connection box (12) situated at the back of the indoor unit.
Disconnect the drain tube (C).
Disconnect the electrical cable (A).
Disconnect the refrigerant tubes (B and D) using the spanners (15) provided. The terminals are fitted with automatic self-sealing valves to prevent the gas from leaking. Loosen the nuts quickly, so the seal is made promptly. During the operation take extreme care not to break the refrigerant tubes.
Cap the terminals with the caps (16) provided to protect them from dust. Mount the outdoor unit on the bracket as described on page 5.
Connecting
Pass the connection tube through the hole (at least dia. 50 mm) if present.
Remove the protection caps (if used previously).
Reconnect the refrigerant tubes (tighten the nuts quickly to make a good seal), the drain tube and the electrical cable.
Close the connection box on the indoor unit.

First of all switch off the unit and pull the plug.
Clean the housing with a soft, damp cloth. Never use aggressive chemicals, petrol, d
etergents or other cleansing solutions. Clean the filter regularly with a vacuum
cleaner or under streaming water. Let the filter dry out completely.

Never use the air conditioner without filter.

H STORAGE
Drain the condensed water completely. To remove remaining water, tip the unit over and remove the rubber stop.
Clean (or replace) the filter.
Put the unit on a sunny day in fan mode for a couple of hours to ensure that the inside becomes completely dry.
Store cable as shown, protect the unit against dust and store in a dry place not accessible for children.

Never try to repair or dismantle the air conditioner yourself. Incompetent repairs result in loss of warranty and can endanger the user.

The air conditioner is supplied with a 24-month guarantee, commencing on the date of purchase. All material and manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge within this period. The following rules apply:
We expressly refute all further damage claims, including claims for collateral damage.
Repairs to or replacement of components within the guarantee period will not result in an extension of the guarantee.
The guarantee is invalidated if any modifications have been made, non genuine parts are fitted or repairs are carried out by third parties.
Components subject to normal wear, such as the filter, are not covered by the guarantee.
