Satisfy your customers’ need
for high-quality, repeatable color.
Get the best of both worlds with the Xerox DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP
Digital Presses. When it comes to attracting and retaining customers, the ability to
offer great color output print after print can set you apart from the competition. With
the DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP, you’ll boost your productivity through automation
and get the industry-leading image quality technology you’d expect from Xerox.
Do more every day. Speed is an invaluable tool in the race for a stronger business.
However, quickly printing simple jobs on common stocks isn’t the best measure of a
printer’s value or productivity. It’s the complex jobs and heavyweight stocks that
set one apart from another—and that’s where the DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP really
shine, enabling you to print on any stock at the full rated speed of 70/80 ppm.
2
Improved versatility and quality.
Growing your business is all about being able to offer your customers new applications. That’s why
the DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP Presses are equipped with Variable Gloss Management, which
enables you to let your customers choose their gloss level on an application-by-application basis. From
high-gloss to matte finishes, you’ll provide your customers with the ability to produce documents
never before possible.
Enhanced productivity options.
To automate time-consuming color-maintenance tasks, the DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP offer an
optional Automated Color Quality Suite (ACQS) available with the Xerox FreeFlow® Print Server.
Using an inline spectrophotometer that is integrated into the paper path, ACQS automatically
generates color patches on the target sheets, registers the sheets so the patches are read accurately,
processes the data, and takes the appropriate action—reducing downtime, and automating
labor-intensive color-maintenance tasks.
Set the wheels in motion for
greater productivity.
Printing a job is only half of what is
required to satisfy your customers and help
you succeed. For example, how does your
prepress operator move from a handful
of jobs per day to hundreds per day? How
do you establish your print e-business,
communicate with your customers, and
get jobs into your facility? And how do
you tie your customers information in with
the printed job to streamline finishing
and shipping?
Unmatched color.
With the DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP and the optional ACQS, available with the FreeFlow Print Server,
you can give your customers the color they want on any stock they choose. ACQS’s Advanced Color
Profiling ensures outstanding color accuracy print after print, while its Spot Color Calibration makes
automatic changes to CMYK recipes for better Pantone® matching. Plus, it makes it easier than ever
to match litho output and emulate industry color standards, including GRACoL, ISO, and Japan Color.
Workflow automation addresses these and
other needs—bringing you unlimited
e-business, cost reductions, and productivity
enhancements. With Xerox Automated
Print Productivity Solutions, you can
automate to save time and enhance return
on investment for every job. Whether you
use one product from the Xerox FreeFlow
Digital Workflow Collection or integrate
several to meet your specific needs, these
solutions can boost your productivity and
reduce your costs—day in and day out.
