Revised Cleaning/Disinfecting Chart

Dear Valued Customer:
It has come to our attention that some veterinary users are cleaning the Schering-Plough Auriflush system and irrigating ears with solutions other than the ones listed in the users manual. To address the needs of the customer by ensuring optimal reliability of Auriflush, we have since tested the compatibility of the system against several cleaning agents. The lists of approved chemicals below can be used as substitutes provided the cleaning procedure in the manual is followed, the manufacturers recommended soak times and concentrations are followed. Use of the non-approved chemicals may damage the unit and will void the product warranty.

Auriflush Cleaning and Disinfecting Chemicals*

Approved: Non Approved:
Soapy Water (liquid hand soap only) Dish Washing Detergent
