To Open An On-Screen Propaq.
Click on the icon on the left side of the patient’s waveform window, or click on the map icon.
To Enter Patient ID.
Open the On-Screen Propaq. Click Setup , click Patient ID. Make sure the arrow is in the blue field. Using the keyboard, type: patient ID#, press enter; last name, press enter; first name, press enter; middle initial. Verify information is correct, then click
Confirm, click Close.
Select ECG1 and ECG2 Lead.
Ensure you have the best
ECG waveform displayed in the ECG1 and ECG2 locations in the waveform window and/or the on-screen Propaq. This will help to eliminate nuisance alarms as HR and arrhythmia detection are performed on the waveforms in the ECG1 and ECG2 locations. With 3-lead systems, ECG1 only is used for detection and analysis of HR arrhythmias if applicable.
To Change Alarm Limits.
Open the on-screen Propaq, click Setup , click Alarms. Place cursor on desired alarm limit box, hold down the left trackball key and drag the box to the desired limit. OR: Place cursor on line to right or left of limit box and click to increase or decrease limit by single digits. When completed, click Close.
To Suspend Alarm Tones for 90 Secs..
Click on a SUSPEND button, or click in the Tan Numerics Area of the waveform window.
To Take An NIBP from Acuity.
Open the on-screen Propaq. Click MAIN MENU, click NIBP, click START.
To Print Current Waveforms.
Click on a SNAPSHOT button, or click in the White Waveform Area of the waveform window.
To Review and Print Trend Data.
Open the on-screen Propaq, click Review , click Graphical Trends. Select Time Span of vital signs to be reviewd (8h, 1h,
15min, and etc.). Point and click to review individual vital signs or click and drag the trackball slowly to review multiple vital sign numerics. To obtain printouts click Print, then select Print Graph

To Review and Print OxyCRG.
Open on-screen Propaq. Click Review , click Waveforms. Point and click on the “ “ and “ “ keys to scroll through ECG second by second, or point and click on the Time Line (24-96 hours) to view the ECG at a particular time. To obtain printouts, use cursor keys to position the beginning of the waveforms you wish to print at the left side of the screen. Click Print, click Print Waveforms, Cutom Print, or Print All Leads.
Open the on-screen Propaq. Click Review , click OxyCRG. Click on the Time Line to locate data for review. Use the scroll bars as necessary. Click Print. Click Close.
Open on Patient List icon (located on the bottom left corner of the Acuity screen), select Unit, select Patient’s Name, click on desired full disclosure icon; Graphical Trends, Waveforms or OxyCRG.
Open the on-screen Propaq. Click Event Review . Select Arrhythmia/s. A list of events will display. Select Event, point and click on the “ “ and “ “ keys to scroll through ECG event.
Press NET OFF, then switch off monitor.
Open the on-screen Propaq. Click Review , click Graphical Trends. Point and click on the arrhythmia event marker (indicated as a red or black heart) you want to view. Point and click on the waveform icon at the bottom of the window. Scroll to the desired waveforms if necessary.
Open the on-screen Propaq. Click Setup , click Arrhythmia Alarms. Click the up or down arrow to set desired limit. Choose priority level, check high, medium, low or off. Click Close.
