• Keep sharp metal objects away from the vicinity of the
loudspeaker.
• Before cleaning or servicing, turn off the power and disconnect
the power adaptor from the supply.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or aerosols to
clean the device or its accessories. You can clean the device with a soft anti-static cloth.
• To avoid demagnetisation, do not place electronic equipment or
magnetic media close to the device.
• Do not attempt to disassemble your phone or its accessories.
• Only qualified personnel must service or repair the device.
• Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by
Polycom Ltd. could void the user’s ability to operate the device.
Waste Management and Recycling
• This symbol on the device points out that it should not
be disposed of with normal household waste. Dispose of your unit separately from other waste. The device should be given, after the end of its useful life, to an approved collection centre for recycling or proper disposal. For more information about recycling this device contact your local city office or your supplier.
• The disposal of this equipment is legislated by the WEEE
directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment of the European Union (2002/96/EC). Under this directive electronic waste has to be separated from other waste to avoid negative environmental impacts on health from potentially hazardous substances.

• This Vodafone P-IP6000 is marked with the CE mark. This mark
indicates compliance with EC Directive 1999/5/EC.
Avoidance of Hazardous Materials
This device complies with the REACH Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals of the EU (Regulation No 1907/2006/EC of the European Parliament and the Council) and the EC Directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS / Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and the Council). Operating Environment
• This product must only be used indoors.
• Please observe local laws and regulations while using or
installing the device.
• Do not use or store the device in dusty, humid or dirty
environments. Do not expose the device to open flames.
• Do not expose the device or its accessories to extreme
temperatures. Operating temperature: 0 – 40 degrees C, 32 – 104 degrees F.
• Note that the device and its power supply may become warm
during operation.
• Operate the device only where it can be safely installed and
used.
Power Supply and Wiring
• Connect this device only to the provided power adaptor or the
IP network as instructed in the installation guide.
• Installation must be performed in accordance with all relevant
national wiring rules.
• The outlet to which this apparatus is connected must be
installed near the equipment and must always be readily accessible.
• To avoid electric shock, do not connect safety extra low voltage
(SELV) circuits to teleconference station network (TNV) circuits. LAN ports contain SELV circuit, and WAN ports contain TNV circuits. Some LAN and WAN ports both use RJ-45 connectors. Use caution when connecting cables.
• This device is rated 48VDC, 0.38A. Only use the supplied power
adaptor when powering the device in this mode.
Child Safety
This device contains small parts with sharp edges that may cause an injury or which could become detached and create a choking hazard to children.
Accessories
Use only approved accessories. Do not connect with incompatible products or accessories.
Interference
This device radiates low level radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause interference to radio communications. The unit meets the required specifications relating to such emissions however, there is no guarantee that such interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
a. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. b. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. c. Connect the device into a power outlet away from the outlet
that the receiver is connected.
d. Consult the supplier or an experience radio/TV technician
for help.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Always treat the device and its accessories with care and keep it
in a clean and dust-free place.
• Do not expose the device or its accessories to liquid, moisture
or high humidity. Do not touch the device or the power adaptor with wet hands.
