i Your New Tumble Dryer
This tumble dryer will give your wash that soft, relaxed feel whatever the weather.
It is fitted with a condensation system. The moisture extracted from the wash is condensed and then collected in a water tank.
Extremely high quality standards both during development and manufacturing guarantee a long service life for your appliance.
Maximum economy in the operation of your dryer is achieved through very frugal electricity consumption and short drying times.
Energy saving tips
To save energy we recommend that you follow these hints:
■Try to load the maximum capacity of the machine as small loads are uneconomical.
■Always load well spun laundry. The higher the spin speed, the lower the electricity consumption and the shorter the drying times.
Clothes which are dripping wet should not be placed in the dryer.
■Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing and saves energy.
■Clean the filter and the condenser regularly to avoid excessive drying times and high electricity consumption.
■Ventilate the room well. The room temperature should not exceed +35°C during drying.
In the interest
of the environment

■Check with your local Council or Environmental Health Office to see if there are facilities in your area for re-cycling this appliance.
■When the appliance is to be scrapped, cut off the power supply cable and make the door closing device unusable to prevent young children from being trapped inside.
■Help to keep your country tidy - use authorised disposal sites for your old appliance.
How do we help to protect the environment? We use recycled paper!

1 Programme guide
For further information, please refer to programme chart.
2 “Full tank” light
This light lights up when the water container is full or when it has been inserted incorrectly.
The programme will be interrupted.
3 Mains-on light
The mains-on light is alight during the drying cycle. It switches off at the end of selected drying time.
4 Door opening button
To open the door, press this button. Should the door be opened while appliance is working, the tumble dryer will stop functioning.
5 Drying time selector dial
Select the desired drying time by turning the dial clockwise (to the right).
ATTENTION! In order to avoid causing damage to mechanism, do not turn the dial anti-clockwise.
There are two drying programmes to choose from:
■Linen - Cotton - (2400 W), 20 - 120 minutes
■Synthetics - (1800 W), 20 - 80 minutes
Cooling
Drying programmes end with a ten minute cooling phase. This ten minute period is calculated as part of the overall selected drying time. During the cooling phase, the appliance’s heating elements are switched off and the laundry is cooled before the tumble dryer stops automatically in position ‘0’ (end of drying cycle). Do not shorten or interrupt the cooling phase. Leaving warm laundry inside the drum will cause creasing and in some cases permanent damage.
