•LOW:Lowtransportspeed/Lowidleforreducing
deckpackinginwetmowingconditions.
•EFFICIENT:Mediumtransportspeedandmaximum
fueleconomyandnormalmowingconditions.
•MAXIMUM:Maximumtransportspeed/Highidlefor
extrememowingconditions.

Note:ThestartercrankswiththePTOswitchin
theON(pulledup)position;however,thesystem
disengagesthePTOandaPTOreseterroroccurs.
EngagingthePTOrequiresyoutoresetthePTO
switchbyturningitOFF(pusheddown)andON.
•YoumustbeintheseatwhilethePTOisengaged,
theparkingbrakemustbedisengaged,orthe
motion-controlleversmustbemovedinward;
otherwise,theengineshutsoff.
•Theengineshutsoffifeithertheleft,theright,
orbothleversaremovedfromNEUTRAL-LOCK
positionwhiletheparkingbrakeisengaged.

Therecommendedtimetoidletheenginebefore
itshutsdownisshownonabardisplay .Thelevel
CAUTION
Duringregeneration,thedieselparticulate
lterbecomesextremelyhotandcancause
seriousburns.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfromthe
engineduringregeneration.
Thedieselparticulatelter(DPF)removesparticulate
matterfromtheexhaustandpreventsitfrombeing
dischargedintotheair.Astheparticulatescollect
inthelter,theengineperformsaregenerationto
preventclogginganddecreasedengineperformance.
Mostregenerationsareperformedinthebackground
anddonotimpactoperation.Thereare4modes
formaintenance:passiveregeneration,auto
regeneration,stationaryregeneration,andrecovery
regeneration.
1.PassiveRegeneration
Thisistheprimarymoderegenerationthat
occursautomaticallyduringnormaloperation.
Whentheengineisrunningatnormalloads,the
exhausttemperaturekeepstheDPFabovethe
minimumtemperatureforregenerationsothat
normalparticulatematter(PM)accumulationin
theDPFisexpected.
2.AutoRegeneration
IftheengineECUsensesthattheDPF
backpressurehasincreasedpastanacceptable
threshold,anautoregenerationwilloccur.
Duringtheautoregeneration,theintakethrottle
valvelimitstheairowintotheenginewhile
theinjectorsaddadditionalfuel.Thisprocess
increasestheDPFtemperature,whichallows
accumulatedparticulatetoburnoff.Theauto
regenerationiscompletedwhenneeded.The
machinecancontinuetobeusedduringanauto
regeneration.

regenerationisneeded,thealarmchirpsandthe

witha60-secondbargraphtimer(Figure5).

continuetousethemachineduringtheauto
