When loading items to be washed:

Before using your dishwas her for t he first time :

The water softener mu st be set manuall y, us ing the water hardnes s dial.
The water softener is designed to remove mi neral s a nd sa lts from the w ater, which wo uld have
a detrim ental or adve rse effect on the operation of the a pplia nce.
The higher the c onten t of thes e minerals and salts, the harder your wa ter is.
The softener should b e adjusted according to th e hardne ss of the wate r i n your ar ea. Your local Water Authority
can advise yo u o n the hardnes s of the water in yo ur ar ea.
Adjusting Salt Consumption
The dishwasher i s design ed to allow for adjustment in the amount of sa lt consumed based on the hardness of
the water used. This is intended to opti mise an d cust omise the level o f sa lt co nsumpti on.
Please follow the st eps be low for adjus tment in salt consump tion.
1. Switch on th e applia nce;

Adjusting the Upper Basket
We su ggest th at yo u place l arge items an d the most

place se rving di shes and lids on th e s ide of the rack s
in order to av oi d blocking the rotation of the top sp ray
arm.

A cycle th at is underway can on ly be modi fied if it has o nly been running f or a s hort time. Ot herwise , the

Unloading the dishwasher
It is no rmal that the dish washer is wet inside.
Empty th e lower b asket first and t hen the u pper one. This will avoid wa ter dripping from the uppe r Basket onto
the dishes in the lower one.
It is dangerous to open the door when washing,
because the hot water may scald you.

- By unscrewing the coarse fi lter, you can r emove th e filter system. Re move any food re mnants and

The entire filter assembly should be cleaned once a week.
Cleaning the Filter
To cl ean the coarse filter and the fine filter, use a cl eaning b rush. Reassembl e the filter p arts as sh own in th e figure s
on th e l ast page and r einsert th e e ntire as sembly i n the dishwasher, posi tioni ng it in its seat and p ressing downwards.
When cleaning the filters, don't k nock on them. Ot herw ise, the filters co uld be
cont orted and the performance of the dishwasher could be decreased.
The control pane l can be cleaned by using a lightly damp ened cloth .
After cleaning, make sure to dry it thor oughly.
For the exter ior, use a good appliance polish wax.
Never us e sharp objec ts, scou ring pads or ha rsh cleaners on an y part of th e dishwa sher.
Cleaning the Door
To cl ean the edge around th e door, yo u should use o nly a soft warm, damp cl oth.
To av oid pene tration of wa ter into the d oor lock and e lectrical components, do not
use a spray clea ner of an y kind.
Never us e a spra y cleaner to clea n the doo r p anel as it may damage the d oor lock
and electrical components.
Abrasive agents or some pape r towels should n ot be us ed because of the risk of
scratch ing or leaving spots on the s tainl ess steel surface.
Protect Against Freezing

1.Cut off the electr ical power to the dishwasher.
2.Turn off the water supp ly and d isconnect th e wate r i nlet pipe from the wate r valve.
3.Drain t he wa ter from the inlet p ipe and water valve. ( Use a pan to gather the wate r)
4.Reconn ect the w ater inlet pipe to the water valve.
5.Remove the filter at the b ottom of the tub and u se a spong e to soak up water in the s ump.

Cleaning the Spray Arms
It is necessary to cl ean the spray arms regular ly fo r hard

After every wash, turn off the w ater supply to the
applian ce an d leave t he door slightly open so th at
mo istur e and odours are no t trapped inside .
Remove the Plug
Before clean ing or performin g mainte nance, always
remove the plug fr om the s ocket.
No Solvents or Abrasive Cleaning
To cl ean the exterior and r ubber pa rts of the dishwash er,
do not u se solvents o r abrasive cl ea ning produ cts.
Only use a cl oth with warm soap y water.
To remove spots or stai ns fr om th e surface of the
interior, use a cloth dampene d with wa ter an a little
vinegar, or a cleanin g produc t made specifically for
dishwas hers.

When not in Use for a LongTi me
It is recommend th at yo u run a wash cy cle with the
dishwasher e mpty a nd then remo ve th e plug fr om th e
socket, tu rn off the water su pply and leav e the door of
the appliance slightly op en. Th is will help the door
seals to last long er an d preven t odours from form ing
within the appliance.
Moving the Appliance
If the applia nce must be moved, t ry to keep it in th e
ve rtica l positi on. If absolutely necessary, it can be
positio ned on its back.
Seals
One of th e factor s that cause odours to form in the
dishwas her is fo od th at remains tr apped in the s eals.
Periodi c cleani ng wi th a damp spong e will prevent th is
from occurri ng.
Once the appliance is po sitioned for l evellin g, the height of the d ishwasher
ma y be altered via adjustment of th e screwi ng le vel of the feet. In an y case,
the applia nce sh ould not be in clined more than 2 .
For personal safety:
Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug
with this appliance.
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the
earthing
Connection from the power cord.
Please look at the rating label to know the r ating vo ltage an d connect the dishw asher to the a ppropri ate powe r supply.
Use the r equired fuse 10 am p, ti me delay fuse or ci rcuit br eaker re commended and prov ide separate circuit serving
only this appliance.
Ensure t he vo ltage and f requency of th e power b eing corresponds to
those on the rating plat e. On ly insert the plug into an el ectrica l socket whic h is eart hed
properly. If the electrical socket t o which t he ap pliance must be connected is not
appropriate for the plug , replac e the s ocket, rathe r than us ing a ad aptors o r the like as
they co uld cause overhe ating and b urns.

Connect the cold wate r supply hose to a threade d 3/4(in ch) connector and m ake sure
that it is fastene d tightl y in place.
If the water pipes are n ew or ha ve not been us ed fo r an exte nded period o f time, l et th e
water ru n to make sure that the water is clear. This precaut ion is ne eded to avoid the
risk of the water inlet to be blocked a nd damage t he appliance.
Please close the hydr ant after using.
Insert t he drain hose into a d rain pipe with a minimu m diamet er of 40mm , or let it run into the sink, making sure to
avoid bending or crimping it . The top of the h ose must be le ss than 1000mm.

How to Drain Excess Water From Hoses
If the s ink is 10 00 hi gher from the floo r, the excess w ater in ho ses cann ot be drained directl y
into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from ho ses into a bowl or suitable
contain er that is held outside and lowe r than th e s ink.
Water Outlet
Connect the wate r drain hose. Th e drain hose must be co rrectly fitted to av oid water leaks.
Ensure t hat the w ater drain ho se is not kinked or sq uashed.
Extension Hose
If yo u n eed a drain ho se ex tension, make sure to use a simi lar drain hose.
It mu st be no long er than 4 m etres; o therwis e the cleanin g effe ct of the d ishwash er could be re duced.
Syphon Connection
The wast e c onnec tion must be at a height less th an 10 00 mm (max imum) fr om th e bottom of th e dish.
The water drain hose should be fixed .
The following things should be checked before starting the dishwasher.
The dishwasher is level and fixed properly

" Cleaning The Filter "
Use only the special dishwasher detergent to avoid suds.
If this occurs, open the dishwasher and let suds evaporate.
Add 1 gallon of cold water to the tub. Close and latch the
dishwasher, then select any cycle. Dishwasher will drain
out the water at the first step.Open the door after draining
is stop and check if the suds is disappeared.
Repeat if necessary.
Always wipe up rinse-aid spills immediately.

washing. Open the door slightly so that the steam can
escape. Begin unloading the dishwasher only once t

In short program the washing temperature is lower.
This also lowers cleaning performance. Choose
a program with a long washing time.
Water drainage is more difficult with these items.
Cutlery or dishes of this type are not suitable for
washing in the dishwasher.
